Reese couldn't help but grin when Vannie squealed. Her friend's excitement made her excited. Weddings were always such an exciting thing for this woman! "2 and a half months," she repeated, "I really need to spend more time with you, don't I?" Had it really been THAT long since she last spoken to Vannie? Wow, what a bad friend she was! Upon hearing her fiance's name, the brunette raised an eyebrow. "Seth? As in the Seth you've been friends with for a while? I don't recall you two dating..." She was going to say it again, she was SO out of the loop!

Awww, she loved that name! "Beautiful name," she commented. "You don't happen to have a picture with you, do you? If you don't, I'll just come over to your house later on to see your two little ones." Honestly, she was going to go over to her house anyways so it didn't really matter if she had the picture or not. "Does Grace enjoy being an older sister?"

A little smile appeared on her face. A little mischief smile, more like it. "Oh really? Well, then you mustn't of heard the horrible news," she stated. "Torin lives in New York so it's a strange things that people all over London are talking about this but I guess since Bunbury is a very popular lady..." She trailed off for a moment or two before adding, "I heard Torin is still Bunbury's number one fanboy and he continues stalking her in hopes that she'll fall in love with him." Sigh. "I don't know what I'm going to do with that boy. Numerous times I have told him that Bunbury will NEVER love him but... I guess once he spends time in Askaban for charges of stalking a former Professor will finally give him some common sense."

She resisted the urge to turn back around to look at Torin, whom she hopes is still hiding, to see his expression.

Vanessa nodded her head, as she leaned against her desk. It really hadn't seemed like 2 and a half months had gone past, but it obviously had, and the wedding was coming around really quick. At least she already had her dress, and didn't need to worry about that. Reese didn't know she was dating Seth? Well, not everyone did really, only their close friends....and she hadn't seen Reese for ages, so she wasn't surprised that the girl didn't know. "Mhm..." Vannie nodded with a smile. "He was in my year at school." So Reese might remember him, but she wasn't too sure. Maybe Reese, and Jack could come around and met him, and Frankie. That would be cool. She'd mention it later on.

"Theres on the counter..." She mused with a smile, thinking of the picture of Seth, Grace and Frankie that she had sat on the counter, just so that she could see them all the time. "She gets a little jealous..." Vannie commented with a little frown, but then she just smiled again. "I think she'll get used to it though." She knew Grace would like being a sister eventually. Maybe when Frankie was a bit older.

Professor Bunbury. Vannie hadn't seen that lady for a while either, nor contacted her, expect to offer her a wedding invitation. So Reese's news was a bit shocking really. "He's going to Askaban?" Seriously? Because like. She couldn't be friends with someone who had gone to that prision. It wasn't very good. But she really couldn't believe that Torin would really stalk someone. That was bad. Surely Torin was more clever than that..

Torin suddenly didn't care that Vanessa was getting married, because Reese was now saying lies about him. Which meant that either she knew he was in here, or she liked to talk crap about him when he wasn't around. He was going to go with the latter, because one, he was too sneaky to get caught, and two, she was plain evil.

And this went to show what he had been talking about for all these years; what he had actually done an assignment on.

But he wasn't going to come out of hiding just yet. No, he was going to see what else would be said about him first.

Reese looked around for a chair to sit down in, yet, all she saw where shelves and shelves of owl stuff! Her friend should really consider building a relaxation center in the back with lots of chairs because right now, she really wanted to sit down and chat instead of standing up. "He was?" She turned her attention back to Vannie, her eyebrows were narrowed as she thought long and hard about that. Hmmmmmmmmmm. "I should know him then." Gosh, her memory was horrible or, in better terms to make her feel better, she had NEVER met that guy at Hogwarts.

She grinned. "I'll take a look at it on the way out." Her eyes glanced away to look at some of the equipment that was stored back her then she replied, "She'll get use to it. I'm sure of it. I mean, who doesn't want to be the older sister?" Another little smile found its way back to Reese's face as she looked, once again, back at Vannie. "Speaking of your children, I have a little something I want to share with you..." She trailed off, letting the silence drift between then before stating, "I'm going to be a mommy in May."

"He might go to Askaban," this woman was mentally laughing right now, "if he doesn't stop obsessing Bunbury, that is." Torin, oh dearest Torin Kane, would soon learn that he shouldn't follow her around and listen in on her conversation. She shook her head in disappointment, still trying to keep herself from looking back towards the boy who was hiding from her and Vannie. "Oh, Vannie! I'm so worried for him. He's like my bestest friend and I don't want him to end up in that horrible horrible place. Do you have any ideas on what I can do to make him stop obsessing over Bunbury and," let's say, "LISTENING in on other people's CONVERSATION?" She put a ton of emphasis on the words 'listening' and 'conversation' as to finally let Torin in on that she knew he was there.

Rae had JUST arrived and went straight to the back room to put her bag away and get prepared for the day. Today she had left her daughter with Brody's mother for the first time, which made these grey eyes very nervous. breathe in, breathe out, breathe in breathe out. Okay, Mallory was fine, which meant so was Rae. She got one of the baby tawny owls and started feeding her, she was too little to be sold yet but still needed to be taken care of. The young tawny nibbled its small beak on her fingers and Rae giggled at the cuteness of the baby.

Carrying a large cage in which some alive mice were running about, the blond man walked into the backroom with a smirk on his face. He liked teaching the shop-bred baby owls how to catch a prey. Because they were going to need that experience when they were bigger owls and sold one day, were not they?

Yet, looking up Leonard halted upon seeing a young woman. He blinked a few times at first, then smiled once it finally occured to him that she was his assistant. Oh well.

''Hi!'' he greeted cheerfully as he looked for a suitable area to put the cage down. ''The little owl looks like he is enjoying his time with you.''

When Rae heard the voice, she jumped for she was a bit startled, that meant so did the baby owl too. She looked at her new boss. "Oh, hey! Sorry you scared me there." replied Rae as she tried to calm the little tawny down. Oh yeah.... It happened to be uh.... Later than her shift time. "I didn't mean to be late. I had to drop my daughter off. I wont be late again.." Hopefully

Scared her?

Leonard's handsome lines brightened when he smiled widely. ''Sorry about that. Did not mean to scare you.'' Or the baby owl. Definitely not the owl. But it looked like he easily scared everyone lately. Especially the mice in the cage he had been carrying around.

As the girl started to speak again, he started to look for a suitable place to put down the cage again while listening to her. She had been late? Well...to be honest Lea had not even been aware of that. He had been too busy with chasing mice. Yes, those that somehow had managed to escape. ''That's fine. Don't worry about it.'' the blond man said and finally put down the cage on the empty side of a nearby table. Now, finally he was able to look at the girl. ''You have a daughter?''

Rae finished feeding the baby owl and carefully put it back in it's cage while speaking. "Yes, Mallory, she's one. My husband is starting out his new business and couldn't watch her today. He's Duncan Fletcher, starting the tattoo place down the street." Rae didn't have the kind of big head her husband did, but SURELY he must have heard of him. He was the Tri-wizard champion and all... "Do you have any kids?" She asked curiously, after all, they needed to get to know each other to work together.

Once the Intern understood what was going on and he had no questions. Nolan lead him to the back room. Neat and orderly just like it should be. The accent will take a bit to get use to. But the kid was smart. So this might go better then what Nolan anticipated. Behind Nolan he had a bunch cages with slightly sick owls in them lined up and a bunch of food boxes around them. It might be fairly obvious about what they would be doing.

"First it would be best to know, What you know about owl/owlet care in general. Anything at all."

He was flexible about what he had planned today depending on his knowledge. He did not want to make the kid never like owls again or something similar. That would make this a disastrous internship thing.

Léopold followed Nolan back into the back room. He quickly took a once over of the room and frowned slightly at the somewhat ill looking owls. Poor things. He turned his attention back to the boss man for further instruction.

Ah. An easy question. "I 'ave an owl myself zo I'm good vith care and such. I also 'elped my Care of Magical Creatures professor tend to ze animals." It was really the only academic thing he did in his free time actually.

Well...he did not necessarily answer his question. Caring for other animals was fine. But this was not the Magical Menagerie. This was an Owl Emporium. They only deal with owls and owlets here. But Nolan did hear that he had an owl of his own. So he must know the most basic care that there is.

Good, Very Good.

"Good. So you know basic owl care and treatment. And as you can tell there are a couple sick owls back here. Just one more question before we start treating them. What is an owl's most basic diet?"

Now this was an important question. Since most sick owls back here are for poor nutrition and not eating properly.
