So, Diagon Alley was doing a little different something, Tag had heard, an knew immediately that he had to check it out. Anything that was fun, different and seem to entertain Tag in anyway he would have to see what it was all about. Making his way through Diagon Alley somewhere along the middle of the street there was what seemed to be a "Holy Hippogriff! Literally!" Tag said startled as he stopped mid-step. Why was the hippogriff in a boxing ring? Weren't they supposed to be free and roaming the country-side, not caged in the middle of the Wizarding Community? Turning to find one of the people who looked big and important Tag asked, "Why's there a hippogriff in the middle of Diagon Alley?" |

"Are you thinking you might like to try riding him?" Yep, he'd decided the hippogriff was male, mechanical or not. Now he just needed a name for him. Hmm, well that was going to take a bit of thought. |
Hippogriffs.. and Wade. They go well, don't you think? Don't answer that, because Wade was heading on over to ride that. It couldn't be too different than a real one, right? As Wade approached the ring, he could see the fiery leprechaun that his ruffling mate spoke of and oh, a cowwizard? Was he the ring leader? Hm. Very interesting. He glanced at Tag before turning to the American cowboy-looking gentleman, "Can I have go.. after him, of course." |
Oh oh oh! Another hippogriff! He had just come from taking a ride on one at the Magical Carousel and here was another! Though it wasn't one like a carousel. This one reminded him of the bulls Muggles rode when they tried to see how long they can stay on before they were thrown off. "Hi there!'' Adi said enthusiastically to the man who had to be the staffer. "Can I have a go after those two?'' He indicated to the two teen boys. Or was he too young to have a go? Adi hoped that wasn't the case. It would be an absolute outrage! |
Looking at the mechanical hippogriff I immediately saw a challenge. One that I would like to conquer. I saw the staffer and another what looked like a first year. So I went over and asked the staffer " Hello sir.. Is it possible I can ride the hippogriff?" I then turned to the first year and said " hi" |

It was going to be my turn soon, and I could hardly wait. If my parents caught me riding a mechanical hippogriff, they would freak out espically my mom and I could hear her say "That is not lady like." but I didn't care I was going to ride that hippogriff! |
SPOILER!!: Jeremiah Tag listened to this 'employee' he figured, very closely. So the hippogriff was here for people to ride on. "WICKED AWESOME!" Tag said excitedly. This day was getting better and better. He began to wonder if you had to pay to ride the hippogriff. Staring at the hippogriff for another second Tag returned his attention back to the man, "Huh? Oh, yes! That sounds brilliant! So, can I just climb on over there, or is everything not set up yet?" It all looked ready to Tag but just in case. Slowly, though, he started to make his way over to the boxing ring. SPOILER!!: Wade As Tag waited for further information or, rather, perhaps, instructions from the man working at this place he turned around to see a curly haired dude. What was his name again? Wad? Wage? Minimum wage? Hehe, no. WADE? Was that it? That sounded like it could be a name. "Hello, dude with the good hair." You know, because Tag didn't know him too well, he'd rather this young man have a nickname rather than guessing a name and saying it wrong. |

SPOILER!!: Jeremiah The man told Tag that everything was set up and it was time for him and try out this hippogriff. Paying attention to his instructions Tag went over to the hippogriff, and as the man had said, put his right foot on the stirrup and swung over his left foot and placed it within the stirrup as well. Like that, yes? He then positioned his hands tightly on the hand rail and grinned, and waved at the other people! Someone should've taken a picture of him. You know, for memories! "Ready whenever you are!" |

SPOILER!!: Jeremiah/Start of the ride So the guy hit the button to start the hippogriff and Tag was A-OKAY with that. At first the little dude was grinning. The tune that played to the motion of the hippogriff was rather relaxing, amusing and kiddish sounding, it put Tag to ease."Hey, this isn't so bad!" Tag said turning to smile at the operator guy. But, as soon as he said that the hippogriff began to move around a bit more wildly. Tag gripped the rails as his body jerked about with the hippogriff. He wouldn't get hurt, would he? Would...would the hippogriff be thrashing about to the rhythm of the song? The blonde had heard it a few times. Doesn't it speed up after a while. Just the thought made Tag's eyes nearly bug out and he clutched onto the rails so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. |

*shifty* Hmmm... Hmmmmmmmmm.... A self-assured girl walks around the perimeter of the ropes. Its tricky to tell how old she really was, looking very young and petite but there was an air of world-weariness about her. She was actually looking for something along the sordid streets of Knockturn Alley, but the festival has distracted her enough, enticing her curiosity for a quick look around. And then she found this corner-- riding the Hipogriff. A smirk tugged at the corner of her lips, she would definitely give this one a go. |
SPOILER!!: Hippogriff Ride! Tag looked at the man again. Noooooo. Mr. Unicorn was going to purposefully let go of the railings so that he could fly off into the distance Now his body really began to flail. Upwards and backwards and side to side. Tag was a ballerina dancing in a very dizzy, unprofessional manner. His fingertips were losing grip, and with one last strong pull from the hippogriff Tag felt his body be propelled into the air. Thankfully he hadn't caught much air, but landed almost in a starfish manner. |

Please...just please don't get sick. Jeremiah really wasn't in the mood to clean that up! |
SPOILER!!: Jeremiah Clutching his stomach a bit Tag looked at the man with a slight discomforting look to his face. Yep, he wasn't going to move for a couple of more seconds. He then asked Tag how he felt, "Lovely...." responded Tag in a winded voice. Then the man continued to tell Tag that he had nearly finished through the song of the ride. That put a small, strained smile to his face. Hey, that wasn't so bad. "I did? That's awesome!" He said excitedly now as he came into a sitting position. A few more seconds of resting and Tag slowly got on his two feet and left the ring. Though, rather than leaving the area he stood nearby to watch how long all the other people, like Wade, lasted. An if they didn't how they would land. From where he stood Tag gave the guy in charge a thumbs up! |
The self-assured girl in the red dress looked rather curious. And curious was a nice trait to see these days. Evan hadn't been following her. Nope, he had been walking around the booth for quite some time. The quiet guy listened to what the man said about holding on until the end of the song and was intrigued himself. Could he do this? For now he'd just try and see if the self assured girl was able to stay on the mechanical hippogriff. |
Huh. Helena walked around the outside of the ring. Inside was a gray winged horse. Well, i guess she would call it a horse. It had a horse's back end and an eagle's front end. It was saddled, and there were cushions all around it. Must be some magical form of a bucking bull. There were bars in front of the saddle... sheesh, the bucking bulls she had ridden never had bars! And neither did the horses she had ridden for years. There other kids had gotten on it, so she would definitely give this one a go. She alked over to the operator. "Excuse me, could i ride he, uh, thing please?" |
SPOILER!!: Jeremiah HippogriffMan and QuietEvan Someone was talking to her. Those world-weary eyes shifted towards the direction of the speaker. Oh so it was the guy who ran the whole thing. Give the Hippogriff a chance? "Only if the ride's free..." she retorted as she turned around-- game operators never give stuff for free, she knew that much. Unless there was some kind of trade off, and she wasnt exactly interested in bargaining over a ride. And that would've been SUCH a smooth way to decline until she turned around and saw some DUDE looking right at her. She squinted. What was HE looking at? He looked nice. Too nice. And quiet. Too quiet. Of course he could be nothing more than a harmless patron waiting for his turn to ride. Or maybe he's probably one of those-- "I'll take that ride." she said spinning quickly and addressed the Hippogriff Man. Dont look around; keep your eye on the contraption. "Do I win something if I stay on long enough hmm?" |
