Nestled in the long procession of shops on the north end of the street sits a small, unassuming, windowed storefront. The most noticeable feature on the building is the large, swirled ice cream cone that sits atop the overhanging roof; the molding along the edge names the shop in slowly fading green letters: Florean Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour. The shop has been the purveyor of ice cream, both magical and mundane, for more years than can be remembered - indeed, the stone at its corner that marks the shop's opening bears only the number "19" before the mark of obvious extreme wear covers what would have been the last two digits of a year. Many people have passed through this shop, followed by their children, and their children's children.

The shop goes through updates almost every time it switches hands; should you approach the bakery box and ice cream bar to order, you'll find an updated menu and tasty new baked goods to complement your favourite frozen dessert. Once you've made your choice and the shopkeeper has handed your dessert over to you, you might wish to make your way to the Toppings Bar to explore the intricate machine and add as many (or as few) toppings of your choice. Just be careful not to make a mess!

The seating has been updated as well, now offering soft blue leather-upholstered seating at the booths & tables inside while brightly coloured tables with wide umbrellas give patrons a pleasant view of the hustle & bustle of the alley in The Courtyard outside. Whichever you choose, take care not to make a mess! There are plenty of napkins and prepackaged wet-wipes at each table in case of any accidents or spills, and there are rubbish bins all around for any trash you might have after finishing up. Once you leave the ice cream parlour, do be sure to enjoy more of the amazing shops on the North End of the Street.
