Eleanor smiled. "I'll send an owl as soon as I discuss it with him." Hitching her bag up further on her shoulder, Eleanor extended a hand and grasped his. "Thank you, Mister..." before she trailed off. "I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name either." She flushed, slightly embarrassed. "But, you may call me Eleanor." With a nod, she stepped away from that counter, releasing his hand. "I do believe I am all set. I look forward to your owl." |
"I'll be looking forward to it." He'd also be looking forward to planning this trip around whatever was... err... wrong with her. Clearly he couldn't send her anywhere remotely stressful, or she'd up and die. And as much as he wouldn't be held accountable for that... well he would like it if she were able to be alive for the entire thing. "Harper. Rafe Harper." He shook her hand and nodded. "Rafe, if you want. And it was a pleasure to help you plan your vacation, Eleanor. I look forward to helping again in the future." These were automatic words, but somehow he managed to make them sound more warm than usual. "And please be careful to not... er... get scared to death or something, before your vacation." |
"Thank you kindly, Rafe," she said with a smile. "I shall do my level best not to." She wrinkled her nose as she laughed. "Perhaps a sign, then, for when you're lurking under your desk." With an uncharacteristic wink, Eleanor turned and exited the shop. |

Silently swooping through the window, Furmy's wonky wing flapped slightly out of beat with the other. Tied to his left leg was a small envelope; after circling the room twice, he landed on the edge of the desk, scattering a couple of papers in the process as he held out his leg. Hop, hop, hop. Large owlish eyes set on Rafe Harper, he moved closer to the man and staaaaaared. "Hoooo." SPOILER!!: The Letter |
Pierce walked into the travel agency, hands in his pocket. He was quite unsure of why he was really here. Maybe to book a day trip with Kara? He had definitely come into the shop for a reason.. But whatever that reason was, had been completely forgot. Curse his memory. He walked towards the front desk, hoping someone could help him with whatever thing it was has so stupidly forgotten. |
Quote:
"Can I help you?" she asked. |

Pierce whipped his head up as he heard footsteps coming towards him. Turning his head in the direction of which they were coming, he realized it was only a woman. He pursed his lips together, momentarily relieved. Being an Auror wasn't as fun as he thought it would be. The feeling of constant paranoia was not very fun. He stared at the woman, momentarily assessing her, before finally speaking. "Err.. i think so." he practically whispered. "I'm.. um.." errr.. what was he here for again? Day trip with Kara? Let's go with that. "What kind of deals do you have for a day's outing?" he spoke quietly once again. |
Lottie! xD Quote:
Lucy looked down, colour filling her cheeks like pink ink in water. Under lashes she looked at Desmond. "Uhm...One, for now." She squeaked looking at her jimmy choo shoes. Yay! She was gonna go to Florence. She looked up, the redness in her cheeks draining and she cracked a shy smile. "Great. That would be fantastic." Nights? Chewing her lip she thought over the days she had wanted. "Around two weeks?" She said a teensy bit unsure. She fiddled with the brochure in her hands. |
Quote:
"Day trips? Well that depends. Where abouts were you specifically looking to go?" she asked. Her specialties were full scale holidays not day trips, but she could see what she could do. Provided of course he had at least some idea of where he wanted to visit. If not then the Brochure stnd might have been a good place to start. Quote:
This was, well exciting wasn't it? First day and she seemed to be doing well. But of course she didn't want to jinx it this early. The Strawberry Blonde smiled politely whilst listening to the other lady talk. Only one? She glanced quickly at the man but nodded to signal she understood. "Okay so 14 nights for one person in a 4* hotel in Florence?" she repeated, just to make sure that she had the totals specifically correct. Didn't want to make a mistake now did we? "Any reason you wanted to go?" she asked, making polite conversation as she tallied up the price within her head. It was a good job she was a Ravenclaw in school wasn't it? |

Lucy opened up her bag and pulled out a hair brush, running it through her dark brown hair. She pulled out a scrunchy and pulled her hair back in a messy ponytail, letting a few locks of hair at the front just wave, not bothering to pull them back. She sighed a little and smiled at the Strawberry Blond. "Yup." She nodded, playing with her ponytail, not daring to glance at Desmond. It would be stupid. They had only met a week or so ago. But she couldn't pretend that hope wasn't brewing inside her. "Uhm, I've got realtives there." She smiled. It was true. Her grandmother lived there. Lucy missed her even though they wrote all the time. And...It just so happened that an ex-boyfriend was her granny's neighbor...but of course that had nothing to do with it. She felt colour rise in her cheeks. "I would actually prefer muggle transportation." Lucy smiled at the woman. |
Liss approached the counter with a smile, and noticed that the shopkeep was busy helping another woman. She didn't want to interrupt or anything, so she leant against a sturdy-looking rack of magazines and brochures about the holiday pack to Transylvania. Interesting, but not what she was looking for. She wanted a nice, relaxing holiday after breaking up with William. Maybe somewhere with a nice spa? Yeah, that would be nice. And an infinity pool like the one in that film, and a gorgeous beach. With a luxurious hotel and shops. Hah. Like she could afford that... still, she could fantasize, right? Maybe someone would leave her money or something... although, then someone would have to die. And that wasn't god, she didn't want anyone to die. So she'd have to make do with a normal holiday. Sigh. |

"Okay so that's 200 Galleons a week. Your meals are included, so is all accomidation and travel" she smiled. Oh but she wanted Muggle transportation? Silly if you asked Louise, why waste some much hustle and bustle queueing at airports? "Yes I can do that. But it may mean adding a little more onto the price though. Flights can be expensive can't they?" the Strawberry Blonde calculated the rest within her head. "Yes so altogether that will cost you a total of 450 galleons" she grinned. Glad that was all over and done with now. The womans quill was scribbling away writing down all the details needed so she could make the necessary contacts she needed to book the actual holiday. "Okay now all I need to know is when you would like to leave, date, times, any information that you wanted to add" her eyes darted over to the Quill that was working away by itself. "Then you can leave it all down to me and I will Owl you the final confirmation." Yes she could do that. Quote:
"Can I help you?" the Redheaded shopkeeper asked kindly. She was surprised about the amount of people that apparently wanted a break in this place. It was amazing to see so many people wanting to travel. |
This was not a shop that Matthew Rivers frequented. In fact. Now that he thought about it, he couldn't remember ever entering the shop. Matthew had always planned his own trips since most were work related, and he pretty much knew his way around the globe. But he wasn't here to plan a trip just for him. This was a.....bonding trip so to speak. So he was definitely gonna need some help with it. Sauntering over to the service desk, his eyes flicked around the building disinterested as he unbuttoned his winter cloak. |

"May I help you?" she asked her head tilted slightly to the side. She was so glad that there were still people around Diagon Alley who wanted to go and travel instead of staying here all the time. |

"Yes....I need to book a vacation," Hm. She would need more information, wouldn't she. His eyes flicked over to the other customers briefly as he slowly took a seat. "Not sure where I...we would like to go." The man had to get used to saying that. "Any recommendations for a place that caters to children?" |
Louise shifted a load of random brochures off of the desk to make way for any more that she needed to get out. The redhead shoved them back in the display shelves, almost as a sort of hint to the guy. Yes she could HELP but sometimes it was best if they made their ow decision. She could only recommend on what she personally thought. He needed to book a vacation? Oh really. Yes because it wasn't like that was the sole purpose of the shop now was it? Pfft... "Oh okay..." she replied with a bright smile. A trip for children as well? "Well we can rule out the erm....more thrilling holidays then" she laughed a little. "Could I ask the age of the children first? You can have a glance through the brochures if you so wish" Then maybe they might both get inspiration. Afterall, Louise didn't have children. |
The man didn't realize just how tense he was until the woman laughed a little. Rivers needed to relax, but he couldn't. Hadn't been able to for the last few weeks. "Um, yes.....nothing too thrilling." Sitting erect in the seat he forced a faint smile to flick across his face, only one with a quick eye would have noticed it. Age? Hm. The tips of his ears, thankfully covered by his long hair, burned as he paused to think about his son's age. He detested that he had to stop and think about something so simple. "He's...almost five." In a swift, almost graceful motion, he stood and retrieved a random brochure that had a picture of a little boy on the cover. Returning to his seat, he lazily skimmed it while quietly feeding the woman more information. Italy. Hmm. "I only need a week long trip, though....I won't be bothered if one week turns into two." Not unless he and the boy didn't get along, which was highly unlikely. The child seemed smitten with him. Weird. "He's never left Ireland, so not there, but anywhere else is Europe will do." |
Quote:
Five? Ah how she missed being so young. "Well I can do any country within Europe. It depended on whether you wanted to go.... Well Muggle style or true Wizarding style?" The latter meaning they could go hunting for yeti's or whatever it was that floated their boat. "Well I will need to know what type of package you wanted to go for? Luxury can be anything up to a 5* hotel, meals included and all that malarky, or Cheapskate for those who really wanted to save money..." she informed him. Whichever one of them he wanted to go for would effect the price. "How about France? Or Italy, Germany... Those type of Countries are great for Skiing..." if he knew what that was. "France has a Muggle Attraction called Disneyland. Perfect for Children. I can do tours around any European Country as well. Spain has better weather.." she continued. |
He nodded his head in agreement. No, defiantly not the Bermuda Triangle. Matthew had been there before, not the best place to take a child. Not unless you wanted to get rid of said child. He didn't want to get rid of his son. Again, Matthew missed the joke. Noticing the brief arch in her eyebrow, however, he realized how tense he must have come off and tried fruitlessly to relax. At least his blue eyes weren't as intense. Muggle or Wizard style? Hm. "I guess a little of both....a little more wizard. " He wanted his son to see the wizarding side of Europe since most of his life had been spent in a muggle town. That and he wasn't comfortable living like a muggle. Not for to long at least. "Luxury package. Best wizarding accommodations that they have." He stayed in enough dumps while working, he did not plan to do so while vacationing with his son. Not to mention money wasn't really a problem for him. Skiing....sounded like a muggle thing. Matthew stopped flipping through the brochure to muse over the woman's offers, eyes settling on hers with a puzzled expression when she mentioned a muggle attraction. "Dizzyland?" It didn't sound too safe...but she said it was a good place for children. The man would just have to take her word on it. "Yes, lets start in France with the dizzy place." He nodded his head, shaking the hair from his eyes. "A two week tour." There. He'd settled on a time span for the vacation. |
Quote:
"Okay so I guess you understand that would be the most expensive package then, ranging from around 200 to 300 depending on the accommodation and the length of your stay" she continued on her flow. Well if he didn't have any problems with money then it was definitely wise to go for the luxury stuff. Dizzyland? Aww that was cute. Real cute. Shame Louise didn't like cute wasn't it? "Okay, well considering its two weeks and those prices are only for one, to go to a place like your considering, its more likely to be in the upper boundaries" she rambled on. |
"Um..." Did the boy like quidditch? He was unsure about that since Casey didn't know about the sport or his father's world for that matter. Hm. "I think he would." If anything, going to a match or two would be a great way to introduce him to the sport. "Money's not a problem." He responded, his tone saying that he wasn't bothered by the high prices of the trip and that he understood completely. Though mentally he had made note of the prices as she spoke them. Old habits died hard. Hmm. He nodded his head as she spoke. Calculating the price of the trip as he did so, but still unphased by the high prices. So far the trip didn't sound half bad. Hopefully they would have fun on this trip. |

"Well that would be 300 galleons per week due to the amount of activities you are ding, hotels all included, attractions and meals as well..." she stated. And he was staying for 2 weeks right? Well touring.... Perfect then. Done! |
Selina walked into her final stop of the day before she went and picked up her owl. Walking into the room she saw a man who wreaked of money and the arrogance of wealth spewing off his clothing. The store clerk seemed to be holding her tongue on the arrogance of the man and desperately trying to assist him in all of endeavors with his son. While they talked Selina waited until finally she approached the clerk who seemed done. "Excuse me? I'm going into my first year of Hogwarts and my Dad wanted to get her a trip to celebrate their honeymoon anniversary while I'm away. It's a surprise for her. I was sent here to set it up. Do you think you could help me?" |

"I could help you, but I don't think you'd be able to book it without your parents being here..." she told her with a gentle smile. She wasn't totally keen on children but this one was only a firstie and the shopkeeper didn't have it in her to move her on or anything. "Where were you intending on going?" she asked. Quote:
