First Vault Access Mary entered the Gringotts main hall and was slightly nervous about it. She knew her social habits of being quiet and timid could earn her some extra hostility with the goblins. She walked to the service counter that she could barely see over and said, with every ounce of her voice, "I would like to visit my family vault." She placed her key on the counter, feeling like this was not going to go to plan, though assuring herself that it was fine. |
Inherits Bettie and her slightly nervous squib father Aiden made their way into the Gringotts main hall. They waited in line for a short time the bank was not to busy right now to Aidens' delight. When it was Bettie and her fathers' turn they walked up to the counter and the slightly nervous squib placed the key and paper work of inherits on the counter and has calmly as he could told the goblin " I inherits this vault and would like to put it in my daughters' name. |

She squinted at the child. "Is that so? Name? Wand?" For security reasons, wands were always registered along with keys after all. Maybe this would be one of those days that Sagni would make small humans drink a certain potion to force revert any polyjuice transformations, not because she was suspicious, but rather because it tasted foul to human tastebuds and it was always immensely satisfying to see the faces they pulled when they drank it. |

Everything appeared to be in order there. "Wands." she said holding out her hand expectantly. Always had to know who you were dealing when it came to any of the lower level vaults. |

"When you get one, you bring it here and get it registered so that nobody can steal your key and pretend to be you and get into that vault." She said, and hopped down from her stool. "Follow me. Stay close." Sagni led the way through the Main hall and down to the corridor which would lead to the depths. ooc: please follow Sagni here ^_^ |

Sturnik had a very important job to do. With the human event going on he had to prep all the teller counters with more money than usual. The human bankers had predicted an influx of foreign humans would would need to change their money over to Galleons. As such, he was busy stuffing additional money behind the counters in addition to his normal duties. He should see someone about a raise or bonus with all the extra work he was putting in. |
Withdrawal Eniola walked in through the doors of the main entry and was immediately taken back to her first time walking through those very same doors. The beauty of the hall with chandeliers and wood accents still overwhelms her at times. Smiling she walks over to an open teller and hands over the key to her family's vault and her wand"Hello. I'd like to make a withdrawal." |
After getting two pairs of Ministry robes from Madam Malkin's, Giovanni needed to make a withdrawal from his vault for the owl he promised he would buy for his sister's birthday. Giovanni strode in through the main entry doors and walked up to an open service counter. Smiling at the goblin, he placed the key to his vault and his rowan wood wand on the counter. "Hello, I would like to visit my vault, please." |
Quote:
"Yes. Very well." she said accepting the wand and key and looking them both over in great detail. Yes. They were legitimate. If you would follow me." she said placing the wand back on the counter. She hopped off the stool and grabbed the keys leading to the vaults. She opened up the way and lead her toward the carts. ooc: You can go ahead and post your character following the goblin down to the depths and into the mine carts. Quote:
Sure enough though, soon she was greeted by an odd numbered customer. Silently, she took his wand an the key and examined them. Great -- an odd numbered vault. That was quite an omen. She looked the young human over. "Follow me." she said simply before placing the wand back on the counter. ooc: You can go ahead and post your character following the goblin down to the depths and into the mine carts. |
After taking his wand, Giovanni followed the goblin. He sensed the goblin shuddering after reading the number of his vault. Puzzled, Giovanni continued to follow the goblin to the metal carts, which lead to the well-protected depths of Gringotts. |

currency conversion After following a family the whole way here, Odaline felt a sense of ease by being around other magical folk. She was overwhelmed by all of the languages she was hearing, but knew it was because of the flying thing happening. Not that she cared. Oda didn't care for much. And not much cared for Oda. Not now. She had written down what she needed and clutched the paper close as she waited. She just needed enough money to get through this summer... |

She shook the thought out of her head as she counted out pieces of gold and silver. She recounted the small pile out loud, not sure if the human could understand, but it was habit. She looked visibly displeased that the final amount was an odd number. |
Colin found himself behind one of the service counters straightening paperwork and dusting off old bins. This had been a rather productive day for the banker. He first picked up a book and put it in the lost and found bin. Ever since that moment he'd been beyond inspired to tidy up. Did nobody else notice how messy this place was?! Was he the only one? There really was so much to clean. |
Yassi was typically very good at keeping current with her list of errands. She always had a second bottle of shampoo before the first one ran out and always had extra toilet paper in the cupboard. But this morning when she needed to pay for her croissant, her coin purse was empty. All of the recent excitement (read: immense piles of work she had to deal with) had clearly taken its toll. And so when she entered the bank, she did so with a sense of urgency. Her hair had moved this way and that with the help of the wind and she hadn't so much as stopped to fix it. Her robes were also slightly askew, but she hadn't noticed. She wasn't typically such a mess. It was just... One of those days. Nevertheless, she waited for her turn with her wand and key in her bag... Somewhere. She had sort of thrown them in. Which is why it was turning out to be such a struggle to dig them out? She was searching hard, though. She really was. |
Bennett got in line at the bank. It was a busy day and he had an appointment to make in another country. Silly him, though, he'd left all his travel documents in his vault. You'd think with how often he traveled, he'd keep that at his flat, but nope. He shifted his weight between feet and leaned to the side. At least the line wasn't long. |
Despite it being the off-season, it did feel like they were a bit understaffed. What was going on? The poor window goblin did not have time to worry about that at the moment though. "Next." he said calling the next wandwaver to the window. |

She was growing somewhat frantic, something she never did, as she sifted through the contents of her bag. The extension charm was such a useful thing, until it wasn't. She had her arm about halfway submerged into the purse when one of the Goblins called out. The words didn't register right away and she continued to stand there, until a few prolonged seconds passed and the realization hit her. "Sorry!" she turned around and hurriedly apologized to the person (Bennett) behind her, before quickly shuffling her way over to the window... Arm still very much submerged. "Hello, how are you?" Her voice was laced with certain apology. "I was hoping to withdraw some money from my vault, I have my... key and my wand... right......." This was very embarrassing. "Here," she smiled with a sense of relief as she pulled both things from her bag (finally) and pushed them over to the goblin. |
Quote:
The goblin accepted both the key and the wand, carefully inspecting both. After consulting a book of paperwork, he nodded and then handed the items back. "Very well." He then addressed the next person in line. "Vault as well?" Efficiency would work best in this situation. |

He then slid out of his chair and motioned for them to follow him to the carts. |
This was a first in Bennett's time visiting this bank. That was fine with him though. He didn't mind and it meant that they could both get their business done faster. He took his things off the counter before starting to follow the goblin. "I'm Bennett, by the way." he said offering his hand to the woman. |
Yassi didn't mind either, she didn't have anything confidential in her humble vault, nor did she mind the company. It was nice in all honesty. Throwing her wand back into her bag (she'd just deal with the mess when she was..... less of a mess), she quickly moved to catch up to the other two. "I'm Yassi," she extended her own hand to meet his and gave him a warm smile. "It's nice to meet you... Do you live nearby?" |
currency exchange In the main hall, Jina paused for a moment to stare around. This place was very impressive! All the goblins behind the counter seemed to be hard at work. She stepped up to the counter for currency exchange. "Hello, I would like to exchange these pounds to galleons," she said as she handed an envelope containing 300 pounds. |

"Fifty-seven galleons." the goblin said sliding the money across the counter. |
Wands at the ready the group of five escapees blew their way through the entrance foyer (literally, blowing things up as they pleased) and hustled towards the counters where each held another goblin at wand point. Blackened teeth and knotted hair, they snarled and made exaggerated claims for sacks full of galleons. "Hurry it up, or I'll turn you in to goblin gum!" snarled one man who had cheek bones that looked as though they could cut you just by looking at you. |
Tex, who was normally quite personable watched the chaos with an obvious annoyance. When a wand was brandished in her, her demeanor didn't change. She looked between the filthy wandbearer in front of her and the others in front of some of her fellow goblins. "Please present your wand and key." she said in an even tone. Because everyone knew you needed those things to enter a vault. |
Quote:
"THIS is my key!" he spat, spraying the goblin with a decade's worth of un-brushed saliva and shoving the wand further into her pointy nose while his comreades in stripes proceeded with their own negotiations. "Galleons or it will be Bombarda to yer ugly head!" |
Unpleasant did not begin to describe this. Tex used one of her long fingers to nudge the wand at her nose. This wasn't the first time someone attempted to rob the bank. "You want to go down to the vaults?" She asked. She was sure that Sturnik would be more than happy to allow them to pay a visit to Bunny. The dragon could keep them entertained until the Ministry came to fetch whatever was left of the thieves. |
WAS THIS GOBLIN DEAF!? It may as well have been by the redundant questions being asked, which only served to fuel the man's unrest as he sent a Severing Charm right at her ear. "NOW!" |
so a deposit probably isn't going to happen Any excuse to get out of the shop was a welcome one for Mackenzie, who was starting to believe that Mr. Lufkin might actually be in love with his owls. No seriously, he had an odd connection with those birds. The man needed a girlfriend STAT. "Think my boss would be into any of the other shopkeepers? Someone who doesn't mind that hair and isn't allergic to owls, preferably." She smiled a little at Jolie, giving her a nudge as she lead the way into the main hall. Only as soon as she saw what they were walking in to, she stopped them both in their tracks, holding her arm out to block Jolie's path. "Jolie..." She glanced at her as she slipped her own wand from its wrist holder, her eyes filled with fear. This didn't look good. |
Quote:
"How old is he? Maybe we should hook him up with Evan." Jolie said in a tone that didn't really disclose if she was serious or joking. Older man though? Always a plus. And even if he was, from what Jolie had briefly seen, a little weird about birds, if there was anyone she knew who could handle weird guys with a balance of their own weirdness in return, it was definitely Evan. "Though I don't know where she stands with ow--" Jolie's eyes widened at the tableau in front of them. Five dirty creepers, goblins, and a severing spell. She clasped the deposit bag from Paradise to her chest, the entire previous week's take within it, and then she fumbled for her own wand, which was in her bag since she rarely bothered to wear it day to day. |

And what they had in their possession. Pivoting and while the others continued to occupy the remaining goblins, he began lunging towards his two for one, casting stunning and disarming spells with a gleeful howl. A howl that drew the attention of a red head witch among the escaped crew as well. |
SPOILER!!: Jolie and escapee She wasn't going to panic here. This place had a reputation. Surely at any moment help was going to arrive. She just had to keep her head on straight and someone would come. "Security must've been aler-" An unladylike word escaped her, the punch she'd witnessed causing her to recoil. Her gaze followed the escapee's to the deposit bag and her stomach sunk. There would be no leaving unnoticed now. Her shield charm went up within seconds, a gut reaction and one she was thankful for. She just hoped it was strong enough to deflect the spells back at the crazed man coming towards them. Her heart thundered in her chest and she glanced at Jolie briefly, unsure of what to do, where to go. Were there more escapees around the bank? Where was the security team? How were they getting out of this? She didn't know. |
Jolie Chosen was incredibly thankful for her friend - had Kenz not been quick with shielding they would have been hit with all sorts of spells. Maybe they still would be if the barrage continued. She wrenched her wand out of her handbag (sending an Ellsberry lipgloss clattering across the marble floor), and immediately sent a leglocker curse, followed by the knockback jinx, far more inclined towards an offensive approach than her friend. Um... not to be too much the former Slytherin or anything but.... "Let's run!" |
Sturnik was furious. HOW DARE THERE BE SO MUCH DESTRUCTION. Of course, the head goblin has his priorities. He had to make sure "That is ENOUGH." he bellowed as he entered into the Main Hall. He had worked far too hard and far too long on improving the goblin reputation He passed two humans as he walked by. He sideways glanced toward the back offices hoping to convey that if they wanted to run, that was the direction to go. "The vaults are down to your left." He assumed anyone foolish enough to try and hold a goblin hostage is also stupid enough to try and rob the vaults. |
What was all the noise? She had been down in a vault and was just making her way back up when he saw what was going on. This wasn't good, it wasn't good at all. She glanced towards Sturnik assuming he hit an alarm and just as he was going to slip around he noticed two witches in the mix and caught the glance of the Sturnik. She pointed as the escapees were bullying their way around in front of hr. The girls could see before they all turned and saw her. "Yes, this way to the vaults. I will take you to which ever one you are wanting to go to." |
Tex was both shocked and in shock as she held a hand to what was once an ear. She wasn't the best at any sort of healing magic, nor was this the time of the place to perform such a thing. Instead, the goblin seized an opening and hurried off the stool. She quickly shoved a bag of galleons in the compartment under her counter, magically sealing it with her touch after. She then peered around the corner toward the customers, waving them over. It was best to be out of the way of the trouble -- whether that be the cleaner option of trapped down in the vaults or a full duel here by the service counter. If it was the latter, she was prepared to throw up a shield spell if needed. |

Not that this maniac was concerned. All he saw was TWO bags full of loot that he needed and absolutely no one else coming to their rescue. Tumbling out of the way of the next spell, his wand was thrust to the floor beneath the girls where he send a Glisseo spell to knock them off their feet and hopefully on to their back so he could relieve them of their belongings and make a break for it through the doors. "HURRY UP AND TAKE US!" spat one who then threw a Blasting Curse at the toes of the female goblin who had just arrived. |
She looked between all of them and hoped the aurors would be here sooner rather than later, but for now the goblin stepped closer to the prisoner. She waved her finger to send a protection against the spells being sent, "Follow me" Turning she headed back down the corridor towards the vaults. |
Mackenzie didn't need to be told twice and she turned to run, only taking a few steps before losing traction. She slid, a gasp escaping her as she went down on her hands and knees hard. Her wand slipped from her grasp and she scrambled for it, her fingers closing around it tightly as she righted herself. It felt like forever before she regained control of it, but it had only been a few terrifying seconds and they had company by then. The arrival of the goblin, who'd blocked their escape route out of the hall and seemed to have authority over the situation, gave her the time she needed to get to her feet and look for Jolie. Was she okay? The offices. They needed to get to those offices. The goblins had it from here. |
Sturnik narrowed his already small beady eyes. Nothing irritated him more than impatience. If he wasn't so concerned about the appearance of the entrance hall, he'd want to duel them right here. But moving to the vaults was still the safest option. Speaking in Gobbledegook, the Security Goblin addressed Sagni, saying, if at all possible, just shove them in a cart and push it off. The ministry could fetch them when they arrived. If they arrived. If not, the thieves would probably be found during the next round of vault checks, which was quickly approaching and only a year away. |

Kicking hands out of the way, the man nabbed both deposite bags away from the ladies and then blasted his way (literally with Bombarda Maxima) through whatever stood between himself and the chaos ridden streets of Diagon Alley. And then, while hidden beneath the veil of smoke and dust he disappeared. |
Jolie skidded too, her shoes were cute but no match for a glisseoed surface. Landing on her bum, she was still clinging to the deposit bag when the kicks came at her. Jolie shrieked a bit at the pain and then catching sight of some goblins being MURDERED, she outright screamed. The deposit bag was snatched away in the same moment and the next thing she knew, a violent explosion with dust and debris everywhere. She covered her mouth and eyes and curled into a ball as the dust settled around her. There was a HOLE in the BANK. |
These prisoners were not going to enjoy where they were being led, but that wasn't Sagni's problem. She nodded to Sturnik showing that she understood and turned to head back down to the vaults. Not even looking back over her shoulder she just waved them to come along. |
Sturnik coughed through the dust. Once that settled, he eyed the destruction in a state of complete disbelief. His fellow goblins everywhere. A HOLE in the wall. Hoping that Sagni was locking the other escapees in the vaults, Sturnik rushed over to check on his employees. |
The goblins had been hard at work since the chaos caused months ago by the escaped wandwaver criminals. Today the bank was officially entering the busy season with Hogwarts being out for the summer. Several goblins scrambled around last minute while consulting clipboards filled of checklists. They were double checking structural integrity of repairs as well as rechecking all the security improvements that had been made. |
Ashley walked into gringotts, and walked up to the thing desk or whatever, bewildered. She wondered how to set up her vault and stuff. "Excuse me," she said to a goblin, "can I like set up a vault or something? And then can I withdraw from my account? Sorry I don't really understand how this works." She hoped to get this over with so that she could start doing stuff in Diagon Alley. Why was she so nervous today? She needed to look like she belonged so that she would fit in better with all the wizards who actually knew what they were doing and had known what hogwarts was before they got their letter. She hoped nobody noticed how nervous she was. |

She attempted a warm look at the approaching human child. "I can help you with that. If you have a family vault, a guardian would have to grant you access. If you are what they call a 'muggleborn' we can convert money for you to deposit." the counter goblin explained. |

When a member of the school staff hand delivered her Hogwarts letter, Sloane acknowledged that all sorts of mystical beings she'd always thought imaginary might actually be real. But never once had goblins crossed her mind. Now faced with a bankful of them, she wasn't sure how she felt or what she thought about them... Were they as individualized and varied as human beings in both their countenance and disposition? Or were they all as grumpy and serious as they appeared? Was that just bank goblins that looked that way? Or were there goblins who worked outside the bank who were downright cheerful? As her mother nudged her forward, Sloane's mental image of goblins happily eating a picnic by Loch Shiel was broken. Frowning slightly for the interruption, she stepped into line behind a witch opening a vault and waited to be helped. |

"It depends on if you want new or second hand items. 50 Galleons should buy all new items for you." Probably. She honestly hadn't checked to see what the going rate was for wands these days. Miss Jane Howard, lately a governess to an old Pureblood family but now a new Ministry employee, paused in the entrance foyer to Gringotts and looked at the rows of counters on either side of the room. She located the counter for new vaults and walked over to wait. |

She motioned the next customer up to the window. "What can I do for you?" |

Jane was still straightening her hat, which had nearly flown off during the wild ride back up from the vaults, as she stepped back into the Entrance Hall of Gringotts behind her vault goblin. Well, that was one piece of business taken care of, and one of the more important pieces. Nodding her thanks to the goblin, Tex (she still chuckled inwardly at the name, though it would never do to laugh out loud at a goblin), she headed out toward the doors. |
