Plymouth scribbled down the name. Or what he thought.... was the name. "Riyou... Andrei. Right. Right hehe. I'll be right back then, Mr. Andrei. You can have a seat? Or... maybe you shouldn't touch anything. Just sit tight." He studied the man for a moment, then disappeared down the hall. |
Sit and don't touch anything. That was juuust fine for Ryuu. And so, he sat, resting a couple items in his lap and waited. |
Plymouth sauntered back to his desk where Hunter's "Caller" waited. He didn't seem to have touched anything, Plymouth noted. Plymouth would have totally touched stuff. "She says I can show you back," he announced with a beckoning gesture. COME ON, Mr. Andrei. "Did you bring her flowers? You should go get some if you didn't. Hehe." Just saying. Or Plymouth would have to. "She's just down the hall," Plymouth pointed the door out, but if the man wanted an escort, he'd oblige. So, Plymouth sort of hovered. |
Ryuu looked and then up, lifting the arm holding a bouquet of flowers. "I always come prepared, my friend," he grinned as he stood up from his seat. His other hand contained the box of chocolates she had requested to. "Thank you. Just down the hall, you said?" Ryuu looked around the man. Ah, yes, he could see it. "I think I can manage from here. Unless you have to accompany me or something?" |

He waved the man past. "Just knock first. And don't go to the end of the hall." The dragon lives there, Plymouth finished in his head. "Fourth door to the right. If you get lost, you know where to find me! hehe." |
"Aye, thank you," Ryuu nodded. With an appreciative nod, he walked past and headed down the hallway. He counted the doors as he passed each of them. One...two..three..four... |
Crossing the lobby of the Prophet, Gavin approached the desk, figuring it to be the best place to start for the task given to him by the newly appointed junior undersecretary. Spotting a young man there working he hoped to get his attention, not sure if eh had to see anyone or could just drop everything off with him. "Excuse me," he said quietly. "Umm I was sent from the Minister's office with some papers to drop off." |
Quote:
Mr. Plymouth Morgan hopped up out of his chair. "Hehe." Just.... hehe. He looooooooved when people popped in and dropped off important documents. It made Plymouth, in some ways, also important. "You can drop your papers with me. Or did you need to deliver them to someone specific? I can get whoever you need." It was his job. Official fetcher. Errand boy. Secretary extraordinaire. |

"These..." he started to say pulling out a good chuck of fliers, "are to be left about for anyone. And these..." he added taking out the inviations "are for all Daily Prophet staff." |
Alicia took a moment to step into the Daily Prophet's front office. She wanted to ask few very daunting questions. Walking up to the desk she smiled, her eyes twinkling brightly. "Hello, I'm Alicia" she introduced herself. Her laugh bright and cheery. "I was wondering what you would have to do to become a well, free-lance writer for the daily prophet?" She asked smiling hoping she could possibly get some info into the daily prophet - after all she did have to work with certain people such as Lord Berty Borr daily and well, maybe she could do a working journal about working at the Ministry. She had the pile of pamphlets in her hand, she smiled handing the conierge a pamphlet for Lord Berty Borr's party. That was this saturday. That she herself dreaded with the uptmost passion she could muster. |

"Ah.... hmmm. I'll have to get Mr. Hoshino or Mrs. Sienna. You want to just sit tight while I get one of them for you? If you're lucky, they'll let you back into their offices. They have cool offices." But not everyone got to go back there. Just saying. hehe. "That okay?" |

Plymouth happily looked between the pair of Ministry workers, nodding and grinning and more nodding. "So a big Ministry Party to celebrate a promotion? Sounds fun! Food, too! I'm in. Me and Hunter and maybe even Mr. Hoshino. Hehe." That'd be a fun day. Maybe Jane would be there, too.....? Hehe. He'd send her one of the posters soon as he got a free second. "So thanks, mate, for bringing these by. Did you need anything else while you're here at the Daily Prophet?" Today's copy? Hehe. To the woman, Plymouth asked, "And did you want me to fetch my boss to answer your questions?" |
"You're welcome," Gavin said inwardly cringing at the thought of people being so excited about an event like the one he was inviting them to. Lord Borr didn't exactly strike him as a man to be celebrated...discusted with maybe not not celebrated. But who was he to care...he certainly wasn't going to be there. At the further question he shook his head having no further business with the paper unlike his companion. "Nope I'm all done," he replied. "I'll leave you two with the rest. Good day," he finished with a single nod taking his leave before turning and walking away. |
"That would be great," Alicia smiled, "I have a cousin who really wants to work here, Amelie and me, I just love writing as well!" She smiled, running a hand through her hair. Turning to Gavin, she smiled, "Good day to you as well" she smiled. |

"Right then. Thanks again, mate! See ya at the Party!" Plymouth waved the man out and tried to commit his face to memory. He WOULD look for him at the party. Quote:
"Great! You want to have a seat in the waiting area? I'll see who is available. Hehe." Plymouth reached over his desk and pulled out a copy of The Prophet for the lady. You know, in case he was a while getting back she'd have something to look at. Plymouth pointed at the waiting area, just off to the right of his desk, then hurried back to Mr. Hoshino's office. |
"Thanks you, I'll head right over then!" Alicia smiled, as she took the copy of the prophet and walked over to the seating area, giving Plymouth quick smile, "Thank you ever so much!" She smiled. Charlotte walked into the Daily Prophet a large smile on her face, her new tag attached to her jacket. It was her first day of work and her heels made a slight clicking sound with each step. She was going to be so excited telling her family about her first day that is when they were back from school and wherever they were really. She was happy and she just wanted to be in there already. |
...Anyone? =) Plymouth's box was surprisingly full. Besides a picture frame that housed his baby sister and a few lengthy cartoon books, most of it was junk. ....and now his desk was surprisingly empty. He gave the bare surface a hard look, moved his box around to a few different places to take up space. Weird. Would he have a desk at the Ministry.....? Plymouth sighed and plopped down into his chair, where he gave new meaning to the word lounge. |
I had to. >.< Quote:
Yes, Sienna was arriving at THIS hour. But she was free to do so, no? Since she was an Editor, and she had appointments to take care of, right? Ah, the sweet smell of news being written. Or not, because the place was dead silent. Was it lunch hour? Oh! It kind of was. No wonder people were NOT around. She paid little attention to the person sitting in Plymouth's desk, her watch had been given full attention as she walked inside, "Hey there--" she stopped, more like, froze, right there as she took her sunglasses off. THAT was Plymouth. In Plymouth's place. "Plymouth?" wait, was HE coming back? Because she was certain that Ian had already hired someone...who, by the way, was not where they were supposed to be...and...well, it would mean that they'd had to fire that person, no? "Plymouth! What are you doing here?" he was still leaving, no? Based on the box laying around, then that was true. |
Hehe. I'm glad you did. Quote:
Plymouth quickly shot to his feet with Mrs. Sienna called his name. He looked around for something to make himself look busy, but... all he had was his box at the moment. "...Hehe." Why did she ALWAYS make him feel like he was in trouble? "Packing? This is sort of my last day...." He was also kind of lingering. Maybe applying with the Ministry hadn't been such a good idea after all.... Plymouth shifted his box a few inches over. You know, looking busy. |
Quote:
The woman couldn't help to smirk, though, for he was pretty much leaving and was still retaining some of those Daily Prophet manners. AND...he was at HIS DESK. A first. "I thought that was yesterday." The packing part, because he had very little things to pack. It's not like she was moving from the Prophet. Sienna's expression was one of sadness now, "Which Department took you in?" it would be difficult, working without a Plymouth around. |
"I'm glad you didn't leave before we had time to send you off in style," Hunter hurried through the door, laden down with packages. "Look, I did your job today, Morgan. Donuts for everyone, and I brought you a coffee. I'm a selfish beast and didn't know how you liked it, so I just got it ridiculously sweet and flavored. With whipped cream and sprinkles." She placed the cup and the box of donuts on the desk. "Now give us a hug before I cry like a baby." |
Quote:
Plymouth, in all the time he'd worked at the Prophet, STILL had NO idea what the smirk meant from Mrs. Sienna. She was utterly terrifying and mysterious and ....Plymouth was going to miss her terribly. "Ah.... er....." Plymouth flushed and fumbled with some doo-dads in her box. "Maintenance." It was not.... what he had been hoping for. "But not in cleaning. I'm doing something else." Yeah.... ..he didn't want to talk about it really. It was just another embarrassing THING to add to ever growing list. Quote:
Coffee made his veins vibrate and his body bounce literally off of walls. Naturally, he'd never think of denying a GIFT though. Plymouth brought the frothy sprinkly delicacy up to his lips but...froze at the mention of crying. "You wouldn't." She wouldn't right? ....right? He'd probably unpack his box and quit the Ministry job if she did. |
Quote:
Oh? Maintenance? She didn't hide her disappointment. It was, like, right there on her face. Her head was now tilted to the right, the movement only made her hair shimmer a bit. She had failed to comment. Yet. But it was all Hunter's fault, truth be told, because she'd brought DONUTS inside. Awww, donuts. That was the only sweet she ate. "He'll be missed, right, Hunter?" she said, smiling towards Plymouth. Where did THAT come from? "Maintenance, you say?" Ian should be happy he finally got someone from the Prophet inside the Ministry. Ha. An insider. "I do hope you go places, Plymouth." She was being super nice, no? It was the donuts. For sure. |
