Good man? He could deal with that. Smirking at the man and woman in front of him as some random stranger jumped to his defence, he crossed his arms over his chest annoyedly. "So now security feel like they have to stop me every ten seconds to make sure I'm not doing anything suspicious?!" he demanded "Why? What do you people WANT from me?!" he was clearly angry now. Now the guy mentioned this other person who was defending him "HA! No." he answered shortly. "I'm sad and lonely and I have no friends because I want to make evil plans." he spoke sarcastically "Is that what you want to hear?"
Oh, the security head? So he was talking to the boss! "I've done nothing wrong! All I did was come here to get a job, and with this treatment, I think I'd rather move to America!" he put his hand into his pocket to get his ID. Showing the very good fake to them impatiently, he tapped his foot, wanting to leave and write all his observations down.
Brian could feel that the new guy got nervous suddenly. Good thing. Security knows how to fish out in a muddy pond. "Calm down man. No one is treating you bad, we're just doing our routine." he said shortly and examining the ID that he had produced. "Well...if you come with us, we can talk about this fake ID in detail." he nodded and looked at him curtly. Was he the one they wanted?!! May be..
"Calm down? I've had someone question me outside the employment office, and now here!" he shook his head, frowning. "Is your routine to annoy people, drive them away from new jobs and anger them?!" he demanded, looking back at the man who was looking at his ID. "It's not fake!" he told him exasperatedly. "Nothing EVER goes right for me! I come here to get a new job, and I get stopped by security and told I've got a fake ID." he turned away, shaking his head unimpressedly. "Fine." he agreed to go with security reluctantly.

Ignoring the man's random accusations, Brian gestured his hand towards the corridor, "Shall we?" He had heard so much like this, nothing new for him and his department. "We're not sending you Azkaban Mister, so dont fuss for a formal enquiry" he added and started walking with the man with his wand in his hand, very watchful.

"I am still questioning what kind of evidence you may have for even an inquiry!"
Nath would not stand for someone, most likely innocent being abused by the authorities. Especially these 'nice' authorities. They would be proven wrong in the end. He knew it.
She honestly could NOT believe the nerve of the man. He had the cheek to be...cheeky...when she was only doing her job! Narrowing her eyes at him, Olivia was about to make comment on his obviously deluded opinion of himself, when Mr Lee appeared. Thank Merlin.
"I was just ASKING," she emphasised, after the guy had accused her of being demanding. "For this gentleman to show me his ID. I explained we were doing random check throughout the Ministry..." Yes, best to make it look random anyway. Wait! He'd already been asked once? Maybe her suspicions were correct then. "No-one is accusing you, or making you out to be anything, sir. We'll be doing this to many more people this week"
Frowning as Brian was talking to him, Olivia turned her head to see, and hear, another man join them. Mouth dropping open, she closed it again when she realised she could be seen. What on earth gave him the right to interfere in Security business? She was beginning to be glad she usually worked in the relative ease of Maintenance.
Sighing at the current situation, Olivia slowly shook her head. So it WAS a fake ID then? HA, Mr interfere. "I believe a fake ID is grounds for some sort of inquiry, SIR." She politely gestured to the retreating Brian and suspicious man, before giving this man a curt nod.
Strolling up beside Mr Lee, Olivia cleared her throat. "Would you like me to stay here, sir, or come with you?"
Nath looked her straight in the eyes. "Show me how it is fake! I want to see real proof, real evidence, not just blind accusations, before I let you drag this poor man away!"
He paused and leaned forward.
"What kind of punishment would be entailed by a fake ID? I mean would you punish me for this?"
He flicked his wand, and his own name tag changed. Emulating hers. Olivia Hawthorne
"Gunna clap me in irons as well? What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?"
Nath looked her straight in the eyes. "Show me how it is fake! I want to see real proof, real evidence, not just blind accusations, before I let you drag this poor man away!"

"Gunna clap me in irons as well? What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?"
She didn't flinch. This man was not going to get the better of her. Staring directly back at him, Olivia smiled. "I believe that is what you need to ask Mr Lee, as he was the one who checked the gentleman's ID. And please do tell me," because she was really interested to know. "...why you think you can interfere with the work of this Ministry's security department?"
Could she roll her eyes and get away with it? Probably not. "I think the fact you now have a girls name on your tag is punishment enough for that." Dang it, she couldn't help that coming out. At least she didn't laugh as well, however silly he looked now he was calling himself Olivia.
Sighing, she gripped her wand tighter in her right hand, desperate to use it. Was this the attitude Mr Lee and his division faced everyday? Geez. "We are not clapping him in irons, as you so nicely put it, he is merely going to answer a few questions. Or would you rather we never checked anyone that came in here?"
Nath could see her, expression tighten, and her knuckles become white from gripping the wand. Interesting. She was on the edge. What could tip her over?
He grinned. "I like the name, really a nice name. Especially with the last name akin to a wands wood, I could easily call myself rosewood or something of the sort!"
He smiled slyly, "What questions will you ask him? And if you don't like the answers? What then?"
These ministry officials always thinking with their wands...not their brains.
"So why shouldn't I interfere in your business? Should there be not check of your power? Should all of us cower in fear when your footsteps are heard?"

So, having left her work station to go wonder off somewhere and clear her mind before going back to work, Lilah found herself near a rather intriguing sight. She remembered this fountain, having passed it on the way to applying for her first job at the Ministry here, but that wasn't what caught her attention. Nope. It was the man standing next to the fountain that her icy blue eyes were so focused on. Crossing her arms, she stopped a good few feet behind him, trying to think of something to say, anything, but nothing came to mind. A simple hello would be...too simple.
Even though right now, she needed simple. Taking a deep breathe, the blond haired woman took a step up next to Ryan, taking a quick glance at him with a small smile before looking at the fountain. Hehe, yea, she was just going to wait for him to say something first. If anything at all. It had been a long time since they both spoke, and frankly, she had found that she missed him terribly for some reason.
Taking his silver book out his pocket, he checked the tools inside some when he made sure that no body was watching. He knew he was too attractive to take no attention on himself () and that was why he was wearing that travelling cloak; to hide what he was carrying in his pockets.
Now acting carefully he grabbed the veil full of werewolf saliva out the silver box to examine it a little. Not only it was hard and risky to take, it also almost costed his and Gavin's life so this made it twice as precious as any other rare potion in the silver box. And with its help he was going to begin his most important...huh!
With the woman's sudden sight near him Ryan got a fright and the little veil slipped from his hand. Act quick Ryan! Almost jumping forward the man quickly caught the veil but was now about to fall in the fountain when he successfully managed his balance. Phew!
He took a deep breath of relief then trying to hide the veil in his hand, he smiled at Lilah Burwell. ''Hi!'' he greeted her as if nothing had happened.

What in the world?
Eyes widening, and arms ready to jump forth to help the man, Lilah stared at him for a moment when he regained his balance and smiled at her, giving her a nice greeting. She didn't startle him that much did she? He must have been...too deep in thought to really notice his surroundings. Which surprised her. He didn't seem like the type of person to NOT know his surroundings and who all was there. Although, it wasn't her place to ask...
....
......but she was going to ask anyways. "Hey." she smiled back, letting her arms drop to her side and slightly behind her back as she looked up to him with a small concerned look. "Are you alright?"

This man was very calm. He didn't like it, at all. "Not fuss? My day is ruined. I had plans." he sighed. Now the do-gooder was asking questions again. He turned to him "It's okay. Let them do their pathetic little checks. I'll be out of here in no time. It's a stupid misunderstanding." he looked towards the Security guy. He was well built, and could definitely take him down quite easily.
When the woman spoke again, his gaze moved to her "Of course you aren't." he replied boredly, unamused by the situation. He walked away with the security guy to his offices.
Taking a calm look at the other guy who started behaving like a scared heart and talking to Olivia inappropriately. "Look, no one can question the security. We know what to do. So mind your own business without disturbing us. Are we clear?" he told him quietly, not in a threatening tone though. He had no business to talk and explain security stuffs to someone otherthan his higher offcial. Turning his head towards Olivia, he nodded his head, "Yeah, stay for a while Olivia. Ignore this guy. I think he's bored." he grinned at her and turned around the corner towards his department with the mysterious guy.
Sophia watched them walk away, and grabbed Nath's wrist quickly. She tried to plead with her eyes to leave the security to check the identification. She tugged on his arm gently in the direction of the bench they were sitting on before, the question was would he listen?

Normally Ryan would be super annoyed when his deep thoughts about a brand new project should be interrupted by someone else yet things, of course, did change for him if the interrupter was a beautiful woman, just like Lilah was. So the man did not say a thing as he took the silver box out again.
Lilah did not look like the kind to ask a lot of questions about everything so the man thought that it was safe to take it out and safely place the werewolf saliva veil in it. Therefore before he focused back on the woman, he put it back in the box near the sample of Amortentia another potion he was working on. ''Yes. I am alright. Thank you. I was just thinking...thinking hard and you know...bum!'' he laughed and slipped the box back in his pocket. ''And how are you? We have not talked for quite a time. Have you changed your hair colour? It looks lovely''

Of course, now that she actually saw what he was doing, a million other questions ran through her mind as she stared at the box, the two vials, and then finally back up to the man who was pretty much the center of all these questions. Thinking hard. Well that explains the being startled part, but all of this?
Perhaps something his department was working on. Best not to ask then. Seeing him slip the box back into his pocket, the small smile crept onto her lips again as he spoke, asking about her hair. Hehe, she had to giggle slightly at that. "Oh, umm...no, I haven't. It's just, my job keeping me inside all the time, I haven't been able to get outside, so...it's a bit darker then it was." Oh how she missed being outside all the time!
Curse the ways of sitting inside for jobs! Touching her hair slightly, which was now longer as well, she cleared her throat quietly, taking a quick glance at the fountain before back to Ryan. "I've been good. Been busy with lots of...stuff." Yuuup. "How have you been? We should make an effort of at least catching up once a week. I feel like I haven't seen you in ages."
Which was true. A few weeks. Months perhaps? It's definitely been awhile.
Sophia watched them walk away, and grabbed Nath's wrist quickly. She tried to plead with her eyes to leave the security to check the identification. She tugged on his arm gently in the direction of the bench they were sitting on before, the question was would he listen?
Nath scowled after the man, he didn't belong in security if he could not understand the reasons that people would question him. Now it was personal. Nath would do what ever he could to see him removed. Everything.
He turned to Sophia, "So sorry about that..." He followed her tug and sat down with her.
"I am rather hot headed sometimes....especially when it comes with abusive authorities."

"Don't worry about it" she mumbled softly.
He looked to his wrist as she quickly pulled away....what happened? Did she get scratched from his holster? Then he saw her bright blush. Oh....I see...
He smiled and patted her shoulder, "Its fine, no worries...I didn't mind."
He really didn't. It had been a very long time since a girl had held his hand like that...a very long time.

She felt sincerity in his voice, but that just her blush even further... wow, from smiling a lot to blushing a lot... big difference. She began to quickly run through subjects she could bring up.
"So... where do you work, its only fair you tell me!"

Nath smiled, and a breath of sadness crossed his pale face.
He noticed her rapid attempt of conversation change. "Well of course it is only fair..."
He paused and withdrew his wand, holding it in front of his face. "I, madam am an Obliviator!"
And when he said the word Obliviator, a green sparkle illuminated his face in a garish way. Emitting from the wand, and casting a green hue across the surface of the waters.

She thought she saw a sad look cross his face... no... why would he be sad? As if the sad look was just her imagination he continued. She stiffened slightly as he pulled his wand, but couldn't help the laughter at the green sparkles... it definitely wasn't something most people would do.
"Obliviator... might I add that you seem very mischievous... those two things probably don't mix well!" her laughter continued... all of the awkwardness seemingly forgotten, well, he was entertaining to be around!

He smiled at her laughter, and put his wand away.
"Heh, I try my best to keep power in check, in every way possible...."
He laughed sadly..."Yes they don't mix well at all."
So much for the awkwardness, it was nice while it lasted. He smiled, fiddled slightly with his hoster.

Ok... what was it with the awkward moments now... oh well, maybe that could change soon enough, noticing that his laughter had a sad tinge she bit her lip slightly, before suddenly hugging him.
Yup... she often hugged people she knew... but usually people she knew very well... was he counted among them?
His eyebrows shot up suddenly when she jumped to hug him. Surprise showed on his face, then he blushed, a light red upon his face, as he hugged her back.
Very strange. But now unwanted. He liked being hugged, especially if it was someone he really liked.

"Thanks for that. I really needed a hug!"
That was very true.
She was slightly surprised as he hugged back but didn't really mind it... she heard him speak and pulled back slightly to look him in the eyes, bad mistake... very bad mistake.
His eyes captivated her in a way making it almost impossible to look away, but eventually she was able to collect enough self control.
"Your welcome!" she said happily, and just for the sake of it, gave him another brief hug before pulling away, grinning maliciously, she knew something he didn't!
