CREATING A PORTFOLIO:

Locate the at the bottom of the forum page and give that a click. You will be brought to a new page with a blank text field where you can submit the first post of your thread (your Portfolio). Please make sure to include the following:

• A title! This can be whatever you’d like it to be. We suggest including your username in the title so people know its yours when it pops up on the side bar
• The Portfolio prefix! There is a drop down menu beside the "Title" field. Make sure to highlight the Portfolio option.
• A description! Let people know what kind of projects they can expect to find in your Portfolio
• An index! To help keep your Portfolio organized and easy for everyone to admire your work, we suggest maintaining a running index linking to your pieces.

Once you’re done, just hit that 'Submit New Thread' button. You Portfolio will then be submitted as a moderated thread (mods and admins, please remember to unapprove your threads!) pending approval from one of the Gladrags mods. Once it has been approved, you’re ready to go! Please keep in mind that the Gladrags mods are real people and it may take a day or two before your new thread is processed. If a week goes by and you are still waiting, then please contact one of them

GUIDELINES FOR CREATORS:

As with any section of Gladrags, there are a few rules and guidelines to keep in mind:

• Keep the SS Board Rules and the Gladrags rules in mind
• Your image sizes can be bigger than the SS requirement and in the event that they are please make sure to keep these images under a photocut or a spoiler tag:

• No plagiarizing. At all. Anyone found plagiarizing will have their Portfolio removed and will receive a site warning/infraction. Just don’t do it
• We know that creativity waxes and wanes, tis part of the creative process. Portfolios that go without a new post from their creators for more than 6 months will receive a PM from a Gladrags mod just checking in. If a Portfolio remains without any new posts from their creators in 1 year's time, then it will be moved to the Catalogue Collection
• If you would like your Portfolio revived from the Catalogue Collection, please contact one of the Gladrags mods via PM

GUIDELINES FOR ADMIRERS:

Commenting in Portfolio threads are allowed and, in fact, encouraged. However, we do have a few rules in place in regards to help protect our SS creators:

• All posts must comply with the SS Rules. Simple
• Please do not spam portfolio threads
• Please treat others with respect at all times. This is a safe environment and we’d like to keep it that way
• Please do not harass another member. This will result in a site warning/infraction and you might find yourself banned from the site depending on the severity of the harassment
• Please do not post graphic requests in these threads. These threads are purely there for admiring work. If you’d like to make a request, please use one of the request shops or contact the member privately about their policy on taking requests
