Biochemkris' Crafty Corner I wanted to get the ball rolling with these threads so, I don't have much yet but, I'd like to show off one my first HP projects which was a Slytherin Quilt I made for EmmaRiddle. I made the pattern up myself and once I find it and type it up, I'll probably post it for others to use (I had planned on creating all four houses but, I got pregnant and moved and don't have the space for quilting anymore). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...SlythQuilt.jpg |

Oh, I definitely used a sewing machine (you can see part of it in the background tee hee). I wouldn't be patient enough not to use a sewing machine. :lol: |

Then, when you do triangles, you just make a center line on a block and sew to either side of the line, then cut down the line to create two blocks of two triangles. ZOMG! That is so cool! I love quilts!!! too bad I don't know how to make one...:/ I sleep with my quilt all the time....even in the summer! except I use it as a pillow coz it's too hot for a quilt!xD |
