Bao Li picked up a teacup that had the Ministry logo on the side. He tipped it upside down and chuckled. "MADE...IN...CHINA!" he pointed out to her. "Ha! Now, where free map of Ministry? Stupid people no give me one."

Lorraine shook her head as the silly male seemed determined to find something made in his home country. He triumphantly reported a teacup made in China... "Niceeeee," she told him, refraining with difficulty from rolling her eyes. "Free map of the ministry?" she blinked at him innocently. "Oh... you'll need to go to the Magical Security desk, located just down the hall."

She frowned when he called the British people stupid. Well maybe not, but still, it was annoying as she assumed that was who he was referring to; that wasn't very nice at all... Ignoring that comment though, she placed her hand out in front of her out of politeness. She would have to be the bigger person here, it seemed.

"Sorry... Lorraine Brothmeister, Department Head of Transportation," the brunette said sweetly. "You're here for the convention? I'd be more than happy to show you around, as I need to head down there anyway" She indicated to the boxes that were levitating nearby.

"Security desk? That too much work and that lady so boring giving tour," Bao Li said and bowed politely at the woman. "I find way on my own. Thank you." With an impish grin, he bounced out of the Gift Shop and disappeared into the crowd.

Lorraine frowned again at the man's utter rudeness towards her. Honestly, she was just trying to be helpful! The nerve of the man! Well, at least he bowed... Shrugging, she shook her head when he turned and left the gift shop. "Oh alright... if you insist and good luck, see you at the convention," she called after him.

The department head sighed quietly as she turned back towards waiting for the shopkeeper to attend to her request...

Rebecca ran in after Minister Li and got her breath back "Sorry" she said quickly to Ms. Brothmeister "he is very stubborn" she whispered as Minister Li walked out "See you later" Rebecca started jogging after him again

Piper smiled when Miss Brothmeister asked her for something "yes, we have a range of..." Piper broke off looking wierd

Piper looked wierdly at the man "Well, they're from all around the world"

Piper's mouth dropped wide open "I'm sure this man is a minister" she whispered to Lorraine in horror

"Sir, I'm sorry about this misunderstanding" Piper quickly apologised

Piper sighed with relief when Lorraine decided to stop the argument

Piper looked at the minister and opened her mouth to speak to him, suddenly he started to speak, she shut her mouth

Piper looked at Lorraine and shook her head to start concentrating again "Sorry Miss..." Piper started to say

Feeling really annoyed because of all the interruptions Piper sighed, when Miss Todd had finished, Piper carried on "We have a range of jewelry here" Piper pointed out all the jewelry and smiled waiting for Miss Brothmeister to choose.

Lorraine turned abruptly at the sound of another person running into the shop and then muttering something about the minister being stubborn. She had to chuckle quietly at that comment, as it was quite amusing. "As if I couldn't tell. Good luck," she told the employee, watching her run back out.



Turning back around to face the shopkeeper, Lorraine tapped her fingertips lightly on the countertop as she waited for the woman to come back to her about the jewelry. Oh how she needed to hurry and get those boxes down to Level Ten, lest Reagan has a field day.

"Miss Brothmeister, but I prefer Lorraine," she smiled briefly at the woman before looking at the jewelry that she pointed out and figuring out which was best. "That necklace right there. The purple heart with the black 'M' in the middle... I'll take it. Gift wrapped please," she told her, already taking out the money. Price was not an issue.

Dan entered the gift shop looking around. He wanted something to surprise hi cousin for his birthday. He approached the teller and asked "What sort of thing would you suggest for me to give to my cousin? He loves surprises." He asked plitely

Its Pari'S first day on the job.She entered the gift shop with a sigh."I hope i get it right,"she mumbled,more to herself.she noticed a someone by the counter,but she couldnt see their face clearly,she slowly turned and noticed something else.A man was trying to slip a pack of keyrings into his pocket.She didnt have time to think as instinct took over.Suddenly her wand was out and pointing directly at the theif. IMMOBULUS, she thought and the theif didnt have time to escape-he was frozen to the spot.

"Ok" Piper quickly pulled her wand out and waved it, the necklace levitated into a purple box with a gold 'M' on the top "That will be three Galleons please" Piper told her

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic Gift shop sir" Piper welcomed him "Surprises?" she pondered "If he's younger than ten, I recommend this plane emblazoned with the Ministry crest, but if he's older, I recommend this Dart Board with all of our departments on it" Piper smiled

Piper frowned at this person "Hello" she eyed her interestedly "Can I ask what you are doing?" she asked from behind the counter.

Pari turned to look at the lady behind the counter while maintaining her grip on the theif. She sighed, "hello. Sorry to interrupt, i just caught this man stealing." pari stepped quickly toward the frozen man and extracted the stolen goods from his pocket.

Piper eyed the man interestedly "Thank you" she moved round the counter and grabbed the man by the scruff of his neck "I may be a woman, but I am NOT weak or stupid" Using both hands she steered him to the door "Next time, make sure I'm not here" she threw him a dirty look and dismissed him, going back to the counter she smiled "Thanks, I'm Piper, I work here, how about you?" she asked while waving her wand so the items went back to their shelf.

"You are welcome. My name is pari, i work for the security department. You have quiet an interesting place here," replied pari. she was relieved that piper knew how to handle the theif because she wasnt sure about what to do with him. but she was glad that her first day on the job wasnt as boring as she thought it would be. she smiled at piper. AT LEAST I MET SOMEONE NICE TODAY, she thought.

Piper smiled "Nice to meet you Pari" she placed both hands on the desk "It's interesting when we have something to do" Piper explained with a small smile

"Its nice to meet you too. Thats understandable, at least today had a bit of excitement. By the way, the way you handled that theif was quite impressive," replied pari still smiling.

Piper smiled "Thanks" she laughed a little breathily "You sorta understand what to do after a while" she laughed again

"Well, i have to go now. I have a few other places to check up on but i will come and check up around here soon. It was nice meeting you and if there is any problem here dont hesitate to call. Take care," said pari and she waved goodbye to piper. WHAT AN INTERESTING START TO MY DAY, thought pari and she couldnt help but smile.

Today was the luckiest day for him for sure. He got a big surprise gift..a live one..all of a sudden. He looked at her proudly as they walked inside the place wrapped their arms around each other without knowing what it was. A gift shop! not a good place for mens' wallet. Haha.."OMG..we're in the wrong place, i guess" he was trying to walk back, just for fun. He already planned to buy something for her. YOu rawk man..

Rebecca smiled up at him, he was pretty tall, she looked around and let out a small giggle "You know where we are" she watched him and burst into laughter as she remembered chasing Minister Li through this shop, she followed Brian, still smiling.

Brian laughed with her, just pushed her forward towards the display racks as his hands were still wrapped around her waist. "What you want from here, Becca?" he asked, rested his chin on her shoulder. He was so happy today and he could get anything for her.

Rebecca smiled and then giggled as he pushed her "Nothing" she told him "I've already got you" she told him happily "Did you know I chased a foreign minister through here?" she asked him "Minister Bao Li" she told him as she nodded "He was pretty fast" Rebecca laughed.

Her laughter was so carefree, and her smile so genuine, it was contagious. As they talked, he watched her face intently, memorizing every expression that crossed it. God..She was beautiful.. He smiled at her comment, "Ofcourse you got me, but still i wanted to give something you like.." he said, "ask me anything," he made that line firmly.

"You chased Bao Li?" Brian was laughing, "Oh..man..I know him, he was so funny. I had some funny personal experience with him too, " he chuckled, his scanner eyes looking around the place to choose a perfect a gift for her.

Rebecca shook her head "Nothing, I don't want anything, my day has been perfect enough" she smiled at him, then he started laughing "Yea, I was his guard, and he could run pretty fast when he wanted to" Rebecca laughed a little and then put her hand on Brian's arm "Honestly, I don't want anything" she told him.

"Yeah, he handed me his ugly chopsticks to take care of, Ugh.." Brian slightly frowned at the thought before he smiled back at her. "But I'd love to give you something.." he nodded, walking along side of the glass showcases, looking for a best and perfect one. This's going tobe his first gift to her. It should be unique and memorable. He took some time to choose the right one. "Do you like this?" he asked as he pointed out the Crystal Swan with golden mermaid Jwellery box. It was so cute.

Rebecca laughed "At least he wasn't asking you for a map and saying the ministry was boring" she told him "Oh," she looked at the jewellery box and smiled "It's very nice, and since I can see that you aren't going to give in, I'll be back in a minute, don't go anywhere" Rebecca smiled at him and then disappeared as she went deeper into the shop.
