Magical Maintenance Supply Closet
 

He walked into the stock room, wondering whether there was any ink in here anywhere, having misplaced his. He looked relieved when he found loads of it and took some back to his office.

K walked in and saw the memo, he left for the meeting room immediately

Attica entered the supply cupboard. After the meeting about the possible cockroach infestation, she wanted to look through the supplies here to see if there was anything that might be effective against the bugs. She replaced the Magical Mess remover, but kept the broom out, since she figured it might be useful to sweep out any cockroaches from the corners. Systematically, she began her search of the supply cupboard.

"Ah ha!" she cried as she spied a bottle that might be useful. "Befuddlement draught. If I put this in a spray bottle, I can spray the cockroaches, and hopefully confuse them enough to deal with them easily." Attica took the bottle down from the shelf and set it aside on the small table in the center of the room. She continued her search of the shelves. "Let's see..." she mused aloud, "What else?"

She grabbed a bottle of shrinking solution as well and placed it on the table. Taking her wand from her back pocket, she accioed a couple of spray bottles from one of the higher shelves. Carefully pouring some of each solution into the bottles, she screwed the lids on tightly, then replaced them in their proper spots. Satisfied, Attica hung a spray bottle on each side of her body from the work belt that was fastened there. Grabbing the broom, she exited the store cupboard.

Walking all along the floor to try to find some kind of peace and quiet, Madison finally found the perfect place for them, the maintenance closet. She opened the door and walked inside, looking at Constantine. "You coming in or do I have to drag you in here?" she asked as she knew that was one that could easily happen as well. It wasn't the Room of Requirements for them, but it was close enough.

"I can walk, thank you very much," Neo huffed as he passed through the door and entered the room, frowning a little bit. "All the places you could take me...and you bring me to a supply closet? What gives?"

A stern look crossed over the face of Madison as Constantine asked his simple yet good question. And her reply..."I felt the need to clean," she began with sarcasm as she shook her head. "Neo! What do you think? I know that neither of us are communicators on the outside, gaining public attention from everyone." She looked around the nice spacious closet and smiled slyly. "It's not the Room of Requirements but..." she paused as she looked at him.

"Now, what brought you here?"

"Well, I did notice the thin layer of dust on some of the desks..." he started silently before shutting up quickly and listening to her speak. Geez, she could be scary sometimes...hey, the Room of Requirement! Oh...good times...good times...

"I've told you, it's a complicated explanation..."

She ran her fingers through her hair, dragging her hand down to the back of her neck. Complicated...hmm. Madison looked around the closet for a moment before eying a bucket to sit down on. This might take a while, but then again, it might not. Maybe it was best to start at the beginning.

"I haven't seen you in years," she spoke without looking up at him as she began biting the tips of her index finger. "And then out of the blue, here you are...making small talk about a book that I had at my desk." She laughed lightly thinking about the old days.

"You always were full of surprises." Okay, maybe it was too much but she wanted to see if it would gather some form of communication with him besides the small talk that he was forming in the office.

Constantine's eyes turned to the floor again as his hands returned back to the robe's pockets. Okay, so maybe asking about the book wasn't the best play of the day...but, what else could he say!? Hey, you, I like you. SNORT. Yeah, right...

"Unfortunately for you, I haven't changed much since school...I'm still that same...stupidly quiet kid." His eyes rose up to hers and looked into her eyes, "I bet you're just saying that to make me feel better..."

Madison's eyes quickly glanced towards Neo as he spoke of not changing much. Well, he sure had her fooled, she only noticed him by the eyes. She knew he was cute back in school, but WHOA! Yeah! They changed over the years.

"You were never stupid," she began. "Quiet, yes, but never stupid. You were a Ravenclaw for Merlin's sake." She smiled as the same chuckle came out again until he made his last statement. She glanced his way once more, this time more serious. "I say that because I mean it, not that I'm trying to make you feel better." She sighed as she looked back to the floor again, then back to him. "Why? Is it working?" she asked this time continuing her statement, jokingly of course.

"It might be," he said slowly, turning a little to look at a bottle of cleaner. "Trust me when I say I'm stupid...it took two men and a couple of photos to get me to finally understand what I've been missing..." His hand played with one of the photos in his pocket. He sighed lightly, "I came here because Caleum told me you worked her now and I had to come."

Watching him turning towards something and speaking, Madison tilted her head slightly. Her eyes widened to the words that he was saying. Confusion, surprise, excitement...confusion. "Missing?" she asked lightly as she looked down for a moment with a look of questioning on her face.

Okay! Where was her brother? This had to be a joke...someone was pulling her leg at the moment. "Y-you can here because of...me?" She pointed to herself as she looked back at Neo.

Constantine kept his mouth shut, but he nodded his head. He was here for her, nothing else. "The original plan was to come here on a Hogsmeade weekend, therefore, less chance of getting into trouble. Yeah, so much for that plan." Constantine shuffled his feet a little, fighting with himself for the next words to say.

There was definitely one thing that Madison was still good at: getting him to talk.

Madison opened her mouth, but closed it, then opened, this time with a finger, but closed it yet again. She couldn't believe her ears and it was a difficult thing to believe that he had come here for her. And then it hit her and she smiled, slyly once more.

"You risked getting into trouble to come here?" she asked with a slight chuckle. "Why Neo, I didn't know you had it in you to be...such a risk taker." She smiled but then a stunned look came across her face as she realized, he had been a risk taker before...with her none the less. "Well, except for that...umm...one time...that..." she paused with blushing cheeks thinking back to the time that for her first kiss ever was none other than Constantine 'Neo' Masterson himself. A slight hint of dreamy eyes began to show through.

Oh geez, why was she blushing now? He blinked a couple of times as he tried to remember back far enough to remember times in school when he had take risks. A lot of the risks that popped up clearly in front of his eyes had occurred after he graduated...

"The one time?" His voice had an apologectic twinge to it; he had spent so much time trying not to remember her...it was a shock to realize that he really had forgotten some things about what they'd done.

And there went the opening of the mouth again, but nothing came out. Maybe she was just imagining things. Her eyes shifted towards the floor in front of where she was sitting. It was time for small talk again.

"So, umm, photos...did you see the one with mum and I," she asked as she pushed her hair behind her ears, knowing that Caleum begged her to frame that picture for himself.

Constantine frowned a little as Madison changed subjects. He really did want to know what she was talking about...but maybe she was disappointed that he had forgotten. Good going, Masterson.

"Oh, yeah...yeah, I saw that one. I saw that one...and another photo. A rather familiar photo," he said as he pulled his photo out of his pocket. "Caleum tells me you had this photo framed," he turned the photo around so that she could see it. "I think we both have a lot of the same photos...you and your crazy camera," he smiled lightly as he looked back at the photo.

Madison saw him pull out a photo from his pocket, stood up to look at it and the smile returned to her face. "I do have it framed," she spoke softly as she looked at it for a moment until he took it away. "It's actually at home next to my-at home in my room," she smiled as she almost gave it away that she kept the photo of the two of them next to her bed.

"So...tell me what's been going on with you. I mean, you are now at Hogwarts, or whatever the Ministry has done," she rolled her eyes and gave a giggle then a snort of laughter. "I'm sure with you and Caleum there has to be some fun."

"Oh, so Caleum wasn't saying that to make me feel better," he mumbled lightly to himself, hopefully. He pocketed the photo again and looked up at Madison as she spoke. "Yeah, it's been fun...kind of. There was a...ah..'dramatical' moment between the two of us one night...but, there's been fun moments." He nodded as his hands placed themself in his pockets.

"Not the same though...to be back at school without you..."

A slight color came to her face as she smiled once again. She was feeling a bit odd at the moment, not really knowing what to say. "I have to say that I have missed your teasing," she began as her eyes looked up to him. "You could really get me at times." She tilted her head to the side as she concentrated on an object in front of her, remembering the old times.

She began to laugh at loud as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Oh my gosh, remember that time that you were trying to push me into the water," she had to laugh for a moment longer. "And instead you fell in." And now she was almost bent over in laughter at the thought of him all wet.

"I especially miss the teasing," Constantine nodded his head in agreement. "I think we were both teaser masters...I've mellowed though. It's been some years since my last teasing..." Constantine chuckled lightly, but stopped and Madison suddenly burst out laughing.

Oh god... "Yes, I do remember that," Neo facepalmed. "Caleum kept laughing at me for weeks after that incident...hey, remember that time you tried to trip me into the mud, but ended up tripping over a rock and falling in yourself?"

Madison rolled her eyes, still laughing of course. "You had to bring that up, didn't you," she began as she removed her hand from his shoulder. "Yeah, and I also remember smearing some of that mud on you too." She paused as she leaned up against the wall with her head back. "Those were the fun days.

"Oh and the time," she sighed as her eyes looked up towards the ceiling, blinking every once in a while. "The first time you played the piano for me." She brought her head back up as her eyes met him again. "I was quite impressed with you that day." A sly smile emerged on her lips as her brown eyes continued looking at him. If they were confessing things at the moment, then there was no time like continuing. "And I still am."

Constantine smiled along as she remembered the mud incident, his smile falling a little bit as she turned the subject to his piano playing in the Room of Requirement. "I remember that too...we used to go there everyday and I would play my piano and you would sing for me...there were points where I'd sing along too...Those were the best moments of my day..." And then it clicked. "And that's where I kissed you...for the first time," he said in shock.

His eyes locked on hers as she watched him. "I missed your voice. When we graduated...playing the piano just wasn't the same. I always waited to hear your gentle voice sing along with the graceful tune from the piano...but it never came." Darn it! She did it again! Her and her darn ability to make him talk...
