Madi smiled back at Constantine when he pulled away. She wasn't ready to part from him but knew it was time. "Yeah! Tell him one thing for me," she smiled innocently then turned it into a frown. "If he dares to speak anything other than what he is supposed too, I will personally hunt him down and bury him alive." Towards the end of her sentence she began speaking through clutching teeth. "Oh and tell him I love him and to behave." That one deserved a smile at least. |
"Aaah. May I modify that slightly to make it sound more...loving, yet threatening all at the same time?" He chuckled lightly, "Either way, I'll make sure the message gets to him one way or another. Bye, Madison." After he walked over to the door, he opened it slightly to look back at her. "I'll miss you," he gave a small smile. |
A true smile could be seen now as Constantine asked if he could alter her words to her little brother. It made her no difference but she knew that he would deliver the message and be more than proud to serve it to him. "I'll miss you, too," she spoke softly. |
Constantine her one last smile, before turning and heading out the door. Ah...parting is such sweet sorrow... |
Egypt walked over to the supply closet to check how things were organized in there and to see anything needed replenishing. She wasn't sure how the previous department head ran things, but she needed to get her own feel for the place. She saw a man walking out of the door. She stopped and smiled at him. "Good afternoon." She said him as he walked past. She reached and opened the door and there was a woman in there. Egypt hid a smirk, she could only guess what they were doing in there. She couldn't blame them her and Nathan often did the same when they got the chance. "Good afternoon," She said to her with a smile. "Egypt Greenwood," She offered her a hand. "Do you find everything in here ok?" |
Dan snooped around the supplies closet. He knows that he must no be here but he could not helped it. He checked the supplies and checked for things that needs replenishing. After putting things into order. he closed the door and walked away. |
After cleaning the breakroom, Attica was relieved to have been assigned a slightly less physical job. Taking the clipboard Egypt had given her, she opened the door to the Magical Supply Cupboard. Attica smiled softly. It appeared that someone had been there before her, as the cupboard was in absolutely pristine order. Though not mistrustful of the employee who had done the task, nevertheless Attica went through the stock with a fine-toothed comb, noting on the clipboard the amounts of the various chemicals and potions within. When she had finished, Attica took one last look around and exited the room. |
As one of her first duties as division head, Attica wished to ensure she knew each and every member of her department. As such, she went around to various locations on level eight and posted a notice. Quote:

Olivia swung open the door to the supply room and turned on the light.Scanning the shelves for what she wanted she was relieved to find there were two bottles left.Grabbing one and putting it into her robe pocket,she went to leave before remembering they had to place a memo on the door if anything needed restocking.Taking a piece of parchment off a nearby clipboard she scribbled a quick note with the quill laying next to it. Max Opened the door the the supply closet. Looking around to find the objects needed for Olivia's demonstration, he saw the boxes of trash bags. Grabbing one of the three boxes, he felt that it was almost empty. Feeling inside the box he only felt one more. Deciding that he could use it in the demonstration he just left it in the box. Then Max started looking for the cleaning clothes. "This is a waste of time" he murmered to himself with a sigh. Putting the box under his arm he took out his wand and said "Accio clothes." and 2 smocks came zoomingtowards him from the far shelf. Puting his wand in his pocket along with the clothes, he took one more look around to see in anything was running low since he was already there. Shutting the dor behind himself he started shredding the cardboard like confetti that might be thrown after the match or as pre-game enthusiasm. |
Well, well, well... This was not maybe the most comfortable to place to have a meeting like that but at least it was private enough as Ryan wished it to be. And also interesting, it was definitely going to be interesting to do that kind of a thing after all the time passed since he resigned from Law Enforcement. So the blond man was in the closet silently complaining about the little dust there...anyway he could handle a little bit dust and also he was too happy with the box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans he was holding that he could not pay much attention to dust as he usually did. All right. Looking around he conjured himself a little chair and settled down on it to wait for his guest. |
When Gavin had received the returning owl, he didn't know what to think upon reading the location they were to meet. A supply closet he questioned in his mind, a small part of him having wondered if it was another trap as the incident in the lifts had turned into. Nevertheless with a sigh and all the Gryffindor courage he could pull together, the man headed towards the designated meeting place just off the beaten path as it were to be in private. His exterior calm as he had promised himself to civil and not go off like he had in the previous two engagements with Ryan. Reaching the door, Gavin opened it to find his companion awaiting his presence and slipped inside, not to quick to shut the door behind himself even though he wasn't afraid just cautious. "Interesting choice,' he mused aloud. |
Ryan looked up from the box of beans when the door was opened. There was his guest : Gavin McNally. Nice and his words right after he walked inside were so nice that it was impossible for Ryan to pass this without a short smile ''Thanks. I'm glad you liked it''. the reply came after he ate another bean. ''Mmmm blueberry that was, i suppose'' This time his wand was going to be ready in case the man would attack him again though he did not look like he was going to repeat it. Whatever, it was only a little precaution. And ''Ehem...'' he smiled at the man again and offered him the box ''Have a seat and some beans, would you?'' |
Gavin quietly observed the man in front of him, looking for clues as to which Ryan he was to see; the one before or after the sort of breakdown he had appeared to have in the cafeteria the other day. As the man in questioned smiled at him as he ate, he appeared to be on the bit more easy to deal with side at least for now and he nodded slightly in acknowledgement, conjuring his own seat and sitting down. "Thank you,' he returned accepting the box and taking a handful, trusting enough to believe since Ryan himself was partaking, they werent poisoned or potioned. |
''You'r welcome'' he said staring at the man directly and steadily that it could be seen as if he was not even blinking if the man had been fully capable of that. ''Are not they fun? Those beans'' he went on as he chewed another one. ''You know the risk right? These were the most interesting things to me when i was introduced to the magical world at the age of eleven.'' ahh good old days ''I am a Muggleborn, by the way'' he added quickly for Gavin's awareness before he went on ''I'm not sure it was because whether they are colourful or that there's always a risk when you are eating them but i have always been interested in them and...'' he took a breath ''...one day when i was enjoying myself in the Ravenclaw Common Room, i happened to eat a light brown one which tasted really awful. It was so disgusting that i had to vomit in the boy's bathroom. Then i started to think. I did not want to stop eating them but at the same time i absolutely did not want to vomit again.'' ''So i thought over this a lot and worked on a risk-free way to eat Bertie Beans. And in a few days, right after the Apparition class that ministry man lectured, i finally found the way'' looking down at the box he picked a bean, a bright yellow one with green dots. ''If we fully focus and concentrate while aiming to apparate, why not doing the same while eating the beans? This was the question and guess what...'' with a wider smile on his face this time he glanced back at Gavin ''It worked! It is all about thinking and concentrating. If you never think of the risk that a bad taste would come to you, if you forget about the risk and push it back. It never comes. Interesting is not it?'' |
Gavin popped one of the beans in his mouth absently, a lightish bland colored one and thankfully a favorable flavor. His mind listening though not necessarily answering as it mulled through the onslaught of ideas for what might be important and cataloging information for later. "Indeed," he answered in simple agreement as he paused to eat another mulling over the man's various ideas and somewhat ramblings. "Could it not be also said that if one takes the time to think and concentrate as you said while eating them that over time he might come to notice what beans have a better chance of being desired or unwanted and consciously or unconsciously avoid them?" he questioned meeting Ryan on his own turf. He may not be a Ravenclaw or even a Slytherin like Calla but he certainly wasn't a dummy, realising as he prepared himself for the meeting it might be best to meet halfway rather then just get annoyed at the man's seemingly meaningless words. To throw Ryan off guard perhaps. |
''Exactly!!'' Ryan exclaimed in a sudden clapping his hands, he was quite surprised that Gavin ended up with this and decided to comment on the topic but to be frank, he liked this comment quite a lot. ''This is what i usually do. One can memorise and recognise all the colours after years of consuming, if observant enough, of course..'' This was good...Gavin seemed to be ready for the important part since he did not react negatively at this topic of beans. Good good indeed. ''All right.'' He put the box down ''I also have water here if you'd like to'' and indicated the two little bottles of water there. He did not know where they came from. Maybe they were already there. ''Now. I suppose...'' if he could think enough to make a remark on the beans ''...you know why i wanted to talk to you. So, at first place. I'm offering two formats to our conversation. One: You will speak and i will listen silently without any interruptions. Then vice versa. And during your speech i will only speak when you want me to like answering a question... Two : Questions and explanations basis. Which one do you want?'' |
When Brian was on his regular round up, he decided to go and check on the supplies. He didnt receive any requirements from Olivia later. When he walked inside the closet, he spotted two men, new faces. Surprising at their peresence, Brian spoke up, "Excuse me, May I know who you're? And what are you two doing here?" he asked at them, in his calm but enquiring voice. |

Ryan seemed to be excited about his response even though to himself it wasn't too far of a stretch. Just another reason...he mused to himself absently. "No, I'm fine," Gavin replied politely turning down the offer of what since the bottles weren't proven to be safe seeing as the other man was not drinking. He was about to answer the other man's further questions when the door opened and a man entered asking questions of his own and hearing Ryan's response he almost rolled his eyes seeing as the new person held an air of Authority. "Gavin McNally and Ryan Chamber of levels 3 and 9 respectively," he answered calmly standing up, feeling it better to answer truthfully then risk any more trouble then they might already be in. "We...umm were meerly talking and needed a spot that had..um.. little chance of interuption." |
Aw. One was responsibile and polite but the other one?. Looking at the man who offered him some Beans, Brian shook his head, "Thanks. But no, thanks. As a department of this level and Maintenance dept. I think I should know the answer" his tucked his hands inside his pockets and nodding to the other man. "I see. I wonder how you two survive here with all these cleaning supplies." A small grin spreaded on his face as looking around the well-maintained supply closet. |
''You think you should know the answers'' Ryan repeated with a soft tone ''Because you are leading this deparment..hmmm'' hand on chin he started to think or just pretend to be thniking ''Hmmmmmm...interesting but might be considered reasonable. And you...'' he picked up a red bean and threw it in his mouth ''...like to make people sense your authority but at the same time do not want to be seem like the common, boring and dictating boss about whom people do not talk any good. And hopefully you manage it well. Good, very good, well balanced. '' Now a green bean ''Well...ehem. I believe mister my friend here has just revealed everything you need'' |
Gavin was slightly relieved to see that the still unidentified man seemed not to be too upset at them, at least for now as he tried not to groan as Ryan continued to be his usual self. The former Gryffindor catching Brian's nod at him as he confirmed the authority of a department head. Great ...the one time I wish it was Dora or Silas and we get someone whose got more power the both of them he growned to himself. "Well we haven't exactly been here long enough to test," he mused. |
