Bhanuprasad Balasubramanium entered the conference room, a small, intricately woven magic carpet hovering behind him. "I am so sorry for to be late but I was detained for it was time in my religion that I must pray." He said with a humble dip of his head at the group at large. "Where am I to sit, please?" he asked softly, his magical prayer mat choosing to roll itself up in a cozy corner where it was less likely to be stepped on. |
Jess entered the room a bit flustered. She was late because she had had to babysit her neice, and she felt horrible about it. She didn't even know if she had to sit in a certain place or not. She looked around hopelessly as she tied her hair back with a scrunchy. |

Ah, it was Nathan Greenwood. It seemed that he had seen her. She smiled, nicely, back at him, making sure she wouldn’t forget to pass by Level Two to talk with him after the conference, before turning her eyes back at Rico, just in time to hear him talking. Oh, maybe she hadn’t explain herself very well. “I meant to say, everything inside this room.” she replied, still smiling. “Well, I wouldn’t say you couldn’t.. after all, people say that everything is possible. I would say that is more than just a little bit hard to have a positive opinion about everything.” Angelina laugh quietly before speaking. “ Its really good to hear that.” He couldn’t be more glad than her for some the fact that people had volunteer to decorate. Angelina could do a lot of things well, pretty well to be precise, and decoration was .. not one of those things. Well, to be perfectly honest.. she had never spend much time thinking about how to decorate something. She had too many things going on inside her head to waist time decorating. “Well.. er.. I suppose while some people have a gift(or can be pretty good) for decoration.. others just weren’t born for it..” Angelina replied looking around, then back at Rico. Well, the area she had decorated wasn’t that bad.. it was pretty good in fact. Luck. “But I suppose you, men, have an excuse not to be good at it. Usually, there are women who are in charge of decoration.” |

Samantha smiled and sat down quickly, realizing that the ceremonies were truly starting this time. "The Minister will be speaking soon, then the foreign dignitaries," she whispered. "That's Reagan Taylor, Undersecretary to the Minister. She's a very important person, and is really responsible for putting this whole conference together." Deep admiration and reverence for Ms. Taylor were evident in her voice. |

"Oh forgive me for not introducing you both." She cried. She was a better hostess than that. Her mother would fry her liver for shaming her. Egypt beamed at her. "Yes this is the love of my life. We missed you dearly at the wedding." She told her. Quote:

Deciding to see what it is she wanted, he strolled over, plate in hand. Smiling pleasantly to her, he bowed his head a bit seeing as he had to hat no take off. "Yes ma'am? I believe you were callin' me? Or was it just my imagination that a lovely lady like yerself would do such a thing?" he asked, still smiling. |

"I was so sorry that I could not make it." She told her. "I heard it was beautiful." Well the Riddle family always did things beautifully. |

Then it was her turn to tell her story, and Cris looked at her slightly disdainful. "Really?" He was a bit sorry for her since she was not in control of her life and all. "Well, on the bright side, you got a lot of guidance in your life." He could not say the same for himself, of course, since he himself decided to run away from home at an early age. Call him rebellious, but he liked the idea and never regretted it. "And, nah, I won't be waiting for the day you tell me. For all I know, I might be able to get in there, too." Heh. As if. |

Kaylee walked up to the newcomer as no-one seemed to be paying him any attention. She was tempted to say 'On your bum' in answer to his question but thought it might offend him. "Hi there" she greeted him with a warm smile. "The name's Kaylee Whittaker, Australian Minister for Magic" she lowered her head towards him and whispered, "I don't know where I'm supposed to sit either, so looks like we're in the same boat" she gave a small chuckle. "So, who might you be then?" |

Reagan announced again, elevating her volume to be heard above the crowd, "Can I please request that all our of visiting Ministers of Magic join me on stage?" She smiled at the few Ministers she saw to indicate that she was addressing them. |

"This is true," he answered her with a smile. Decorating could be considered a talent, surely, something similar to art skills. Rico wasn't bad at art, he just....couldn't decorate. It was something with matching colors and stuff. Ugh. He chuckled a little at Angelina's statement though. "Do you really believe that?" Rico raised an eyebrow. "I thought those sort of gender assumptions were a thing of the past...otherwise, I mean, I'd ask you if you cooked some of this food. It's delicious." He grinned and took another sip of his chicha morada. But then, he finally heard the Senior Undersecretary calling all the ministers to the stage...which meant that the ceremony must be starting. "I think we're supposed to go sit down somewhere...." he mentioned casually, hoping that she would sit next to him somewhere...if she didn't have to go sit with the Minister, of course. Because she could just be that important - what did Rico know? |
Piper made it to the conference, she was amazed by the number of people that has gathered around and waited to see what was going to happen. As she heard the undersecretary call for the minister, Piper turned to see them. She always wanted to meet the ministers of the world and that was her chance. |

Samantha watched as one of the ambassadors, she thought it was the one from the United States, took the stage, dragging three other ambassadors with her in the process. Her interest picked up, this was going to prove more interesting than she had originally even thought, after all! She couldn't wait to hear from this woman had to say. |
Armen looked down at her plate to the bars. "Sure i'll get some then we can find a seat." He smiled motioning to a table nearby. |

"Probably the whole department. It makes sense. I believe everybody in the Ministry is here." she said, looking around. What she didn't want to admit was that she was also looking for Jake. She decided she'd judge him better in of she known somebody else's opinion. "So, what do you think about Jake?" she asked, trying to make it sound casual. |
Jose walked up to the stage as requested. This was the price to be paid for the office he held. So much unpleasant fuss. |
ooc: sorry it took me so long :) Quote:
Teal nodded as Rowan said she liked meeting new people, it really was pretty interesting especially if that person was from a foreign country. “Indeed.” Teal mused, and watched as her and Vlad acquainted themselves. As they did so, Teal looked to that crate and decided that it would be a nice touch. He swiftly took out his wand, pointed it at the box, and with a soft pop it cracked open. The shiny, little fairies tore from the box and quickly dispersed high in the tops of the room, shedding light and hopefully, happiness. Grinning as Rowan thought a drink was a good idea as well, he made his way to the beverage and food table. He wasn’t hungry at all, so Teal merely picked up a goblet and filled it full with firewhisky. Taking a tender sip, Teal’s satisfaction was finally reached as the burning, yet pleasant, feeling ran through his veins. Reagan had made her way to the stage, and requested that everyone find a seat. Teal sighed slightly and turned to Rowan and Vlad, “I guess we better.” He said with a wry grin and headed over to a row of vacant seats, settling in. He craned his neck, in pursuit of Lorraine, but he still couldn’t see her. Teal took a hefty sip from his firewhisky and pressed his lips together tightly as he withdrew his cup. “Where is Brennan?” Teal asked slightly rhetorically, but to Rowan. The Minister should have been here before all of them. |

He looked around and saw Piper. He made his way silently over and took a seat, nodding his head in a nonverbal "hello". James turned his attention to the stage and watched, not knowing what to expect. |

He plopped down next to her and looked up at the stage where Samantha was pointing. He saw a woman there, and according to Samantha, she was the undersecretary to the Minister. Wow, talk about being important! Even Samantha admires her, he thought as he caught the tone of her voice. "I take off my hat for her then. She really did an excellent job with this conference." he said, still looking at the woman. And she's so young, too! |

"Yes really, but i guess I can not fault the guidance I have gotten as you said, as well as the job I managed to get." She knew it was a high honor to be an Unspeakable. As well as a big headache, for she couldn't tell anyone what was stressing her out. "Hmmm you never know." She said slightly mysteriously. "It's possible." She grinned. "Just don't commit a crime and end up in my department." She said with a soft smile. |
