Default Bott's Bean Tasting Table

Every flavour tells a story, and you are invited to taste them all here! Bott's Bean Tasting Table is the home of SnitchSeeker's creative writing challenges, where curiosity is rewarded and no two prompts ever taste quite the same. Writers of every style and experience level are encouraged to test their nerve, stretch their imagination, and take creative risks with every prompt in a low-pressure, high-fun environment.

This is where you will find our community challenges, including SS25, SS50, SS100, and Every Flavour Dares (EFD), all gathered together in one colourful display. Some beans are sweet and comforting, others are strange, spicy, or daring enough to make you hesitate before diving in. No matter which flavour you choose to take on, each challenge is designed to spark creativity, encourage experimentation, and celebrate the joy of writing for the sake of writing.

Before you grab a bean from the jar, please take a moment to read through the guidelines below. They outline how challenges work, how to participate, and what to expect as you post and respond to others. Think of them as the house rules that ensure the shenanigans stay fun, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone brave enough to take a bite.
We cannot wait to see which beans you dare to try and what stories tumble out!

Frequently Asked Questions
  • How many challenge threads am I allowed to have at once?
The limit does not exist! You may have as many SS100, SS50, SS25, and EFD challenge threads as you'd like. We simply ask that each thread be updated at least once every three months to remain active.

  • What if I want to do the same challenge as another member about the same character?
That's absolutely fine! Even if another member is writing about the same character for the same challenge, each writer brings their own voice, ideas, and creativity. We encourage you to follow your muse and make the challenge your own.

  • Am I allowed to complete one of the Limited Edition Bean Challenges even though the deadline has passed?
While Limited Edition Bean Challenges are tied to specific timeframes for events, you are always welcome to complete them after the deadline for your own enjoyment. At the end of the day, the goal is to keep the creativity flowing—if a challenge inspires you, go for it!

  • Can I write about SnitchSeeker RPG characters that are not mine?
You may only write about SnitchSeeker RPG characters that are not your own if you have received clear permission from that character's player. Respecting character ownership is essential in shared storytelling spaces. If permission cannot be obtained, you will need to avoid using that character in your piece.

  • How frequently do I have to update my threads with new entries?
To keep your thread active, you must post a new entry within three-month intervals. Threads without updates after these periods will be moved to the Unfinished Box of Beans. If you know you will be away for a while, just let the moderators know—we're happy to grant extensions when needed.

  • What do I do when I am finished with my challenge?
When your challenge is complete, please let readers know in your final entry and contact one of the Honeydukes moderators so they know the challenge is finished. After that, your thread will be moved to the Every Flavour Bean Collection forum, where completed works are archived for reading and commenting.

  • How do I reactivate my thread if it is archived in the Unfinished Box of Beans?
If your thread has been moved to the Unfinished Box of Beans due to inactivity, simply contact a Honeydukes moderator and request reactivation. Once the thread has been moved to the appropriate forum and reactivated, you may continue posting new entries as normal.

  • Can I leave comments on finished works in the Every Flavour Bean Collection forum?
Yes! Commenting on finished works is welcome and encouraged. Thoughtful feedback, kind reactions, and supportive engagement help make Honeydukes a vibrant creative community. Please ensure all comments remain respectful and constructive.

  • What if I have other questions?
If you have any additional questions, concerns, or uncertainties, you are always welcome to contact a Honeydukes moderator. We're here to help and want your creative experience on SnitchSeeker to be positive and rewarding.
