Mine has been, to date, the Tale of the Three Brothers. I think the fondness was influenced by both the DH book and movie but despite this, the story continues to fascinate me. I really enjoyed the way Death was cheated. That being said, I hope to reread the book sometime to see if I gravitate more towards another story

The tale of Three brothers and the how the deathly hallows meant in each brothers story and how they face death except for the brother with the Invisibility cloak. And the story as whole is very intriguing as in the end Harry gets all of the deathly hallows , he gets the elder wand , the cloak of invisibility , the resurrection stone.
