Gerti stood up to leave her cubicle, having finished the day's work. She would probably head towards the Food Courts now.

It was time to head out for his usual hour and a half to two hour lunch break and Recard made he way through the level's work area nodding to the few employees who were still working on their assignments, noticing here and there the newer face.

One in particular caught his attention since she had stepped out of her cubicle and into his line of vision--the part goblin girl. "Ah Gerti, good afternoon. Off to lunch?" He had posted the notice of the new Ministry Food Court opening up and assumed that's where she was headed.

"Here, you could use one of these I'm sure. Just compliments of the Ministry." With a glint of gold Armen placed a coupon into the woman's hand.

"Have a good lunch." And with that, the Department Head left for the lifts.

"Yes, I was just headed-" She started to respond but then he gave her a gold coupon. That was nice. She beamed at him. "Thank you very much sir! I'll follow you of you are headed there too." She followed him towards the lifts.

Everyone could use a tray full of a variety of different drinks, right? Gavin knew he was quite tired of just coffee and water all the time in his cubicle, so when Gina had said to bring a few trays to level 6's work areas, Gavin's first thought had been drinks! Nudging open the door to the work areas, Gavin entered the room with a tray full of all 9 different juices (pomegranite, apple, cranberry, normal lemonade, exploding lemonade, very orange, grapefruit, party punch and pumpkin juices)

He also had a few gilly waters, seven or eight different dragon milkshakes, egg nog and a few fruit smoothies as well. Everything but the hot drinks it appeared from the juice bar in the food court. "Anyone fancy a drink?" he called out.

Lola was right behind Gavin in the doorway, and was soon next to him in Level 6's workroom. It was kind of nice to go out on tasks and get to see the other levels. Whilst Gavin had filled his tray with drinks, Lola's was piled with desserts; treacle tarts, apple pies, cherry pies, giant eclairs, cauldron cakes, pumpkin pasties, cheesecake and ice-cream, plus a load of sweets; acid pops, chocolate frogs, sugar quills, Bertie Bott's and canary creams.

You were probably so distracted by the cakes and candies that you didn't notice the rusty tin can lying in the corner. Be careful not to touch this portkey or you may have some explaining to do to some muggles out in London...

Leo stode into work and tossed his briefcase on his messy desk. It was time to clean. There were piles of papers and useless things so high he couldn't find anything in less than 2 minutes. Well, it would have to wait until his lunch break because right now he needed to get started on some things and finish up others. Hopefully he'd be done a little early so he could be on time to that meeting with Presley that he'd told Maine he would set up.

Gabriela Schultz was all set and ready to begin working again, even though the break had been nice and she'd got to see her son at the fundraiser. She just wanted to get back into her most comfortable environment - the office. More importantly, HER office.

But first things first, she had something for the employees who had helped her test brooms. Hovering in front of her were multiple edible arrangements bouquets for the employees who had participated, and with a few flicks of her wand, the arrangements all landed on the desks of the employees they were meant for. Each one had a card attached:

With that, she headed back into her office to start the day with a nice cup of coffee.

Clickity clack. The sound of high heels signalled Gabi's arrival...she stomped into the work area carrying the pot of Floo powder she had taken from Aron's office. She quickly went over her list of divisions and picked out who she had assigned to work on the floo powder - Brooms. Yes, she needed her brooms division.

"Brooms! I need my broom people!" she yelled as she entered the work area. So what if she was being loud. This was an emergency!

BROOMS?!

Haley had been sat down, running her finger along the lines of notes she had taken in conversations she'd had with people recently, and was currently thinking a little more into those conversations specifically. People analysing, some would call it. She wouldn't though. Hales was certain it was nothing to do with 'analysing', just being interested and curious about everything presented.

The writing things down thing meant nothing either.

She was a broom person.

Rolling up onto her tip toes, Haley shot a smile at her Department Head and started to move toward her. "S'up?" "Miss Schultz?"

On with the show?

Or was she in trouble?

Jayden dropped a bag full of thrift store items on his desk. Another day. More portkeys. With the floo network being done, it seemed like ALL Jayden was doing was picking up items to be used as portkeys.

They really needed a better recycling program.

He passed by just as Miss Head Honcho was announcing something. "You need me at all?" he asked popping his head from his desk. Because he'd do it. Especially if it meant a break from all the old things on his desk.

Ah, finally, some people! Gabi pulled the vase of floo powder out of her bag and set it on a nearby desk before turning to the two employees who'd gotten off their bums to come see what she needed. Good little employees!

"Well, I've just been to Level 3's offices, and discovered that something is wrong with the floo powder," she said. "I'm guessing that all the floo powder that was shipped out in this batch has the same defect, although I'm not exactly sure what it is..." she told them. She turned back to the vase and dumped three tiny piles onto the desk. She hoped whoever worked at that cubicle wasn't coming back anytime soon...

"Anyways, I need someone to help me test this powder in my fireplace and various other places to see if it reacts the same way. If the flames turn white...we need to recall all floo powder IMMEDIATELY," she said. Deaf con five people!

Jayden looked down at the little piles on the desk and nodded. Throwing powder in the fire. That was doable. Although, those samples were pretty small. They were also all over the desk now. How many fireplaces were they expected to test?

"Shall I grab a pinch and test my fireplace at home?" Or did she mean they were testing the fireplaces here?

Why....was their Department Head being loud?

She could hear the woman's voice all the way from the Apparition Testing Area where she was having some tea. For now, she left it there and rushed outside, her eyebrows crinkling as she approached the woman. Broom people? She needed "broom" people, and Eliza was an "apparition" people....so she wasn't needed here then?

But just for the sake of it. "Miss Schultz, can I help with anything?" She was saying something about Floo powder? What could be going on? She could lend a helping hand where it's needed.

"Perfect! Eliza, how about you grab a sample of the Floo Powder and go test it in a Department Head's office. I don't care which one, just pick someone who doesn't look too busy," she said. "Let me know if the flames turn WHITE. Both of you. Questions?" she asked. They had no time to waste!

Jayden nodded looking down at the table. He grabbed a pinch. Testing the atrium. He could do that.

Of course, it wasn't as fun as testing it out at home. Which, was sad, he was in the mood for a sandwich. ... maybe he could still grab one?

"Back in a flash." he said turning and heading for the lifts. "Want to share one down?" he asked Eliza nodding toward the lifts.

Okaaay? Grab some Floo powder and test it in Department Head's office and let The Schultz know if the flames turn white. She could do that.

"Copy that, Miss Schultz. I'll get to it right away." She said, nodding as she filled a pouch with some Floo powder. Questions? Nope. She didn't have questions so far. This was a little weird but she was guessing there was something wrong with the Floo powder by how the woman was acting.

She pocketed the pouch and strutted off....passing by her co-worker, Jayden, without much of an acknowledgement to his offer. Instead, she pretty much got to the lifts first. "Are you coming or not?" Hello, they needed to work fast here.

Well then... someone was a little bit anxious, weren't they. Jayden nodded and followed after Eliza. That was the problem with magical transportation. Everyone always seemed to be in a hurry.

Oh well.

Time to go throw powder into a fire.

"Puh. PAH. PUUUUH." Yep. Patrick was making PUH sounds as he read through the file in his hand before sliding into the chair at his desk. Stupid Floo powder. PUH PUH PAAAAH.

He needed to get the word out about the COOLEST form of Magical Transpo EVAH, though. Even if they were working on a fix for the Floo Network. He wondered idly if the head lady would allow him to stand on a soapbox in the Alley and shout Apparition's praises at passersby.

He was good at shouting at people.

Casting a glance around he wondered if anybody wanted to grab lunch with him. He needed sustenance. PRONTO.

What on EARTH was happening in here? Gabriela had heard the noisy employee all the way from her office, and took a short break to come out and investigate. She was at least in a BIT of a better mood, now that they'd cracked the floo powder case and everything was back to normal (or would be shortly, once she went downstairs and chucked all the floo powder shipments and tossed them out the window).

"Mr. McAllister, what on EARTH are you doing?" she asked him wearily as he made strange guttural noises in the direction of his paper.

Patrick looked up from his files, a bewildered look EVIDENT on his face. "Reading... a... file. What are you doing, Department Head?" Pat was TERRIBLE with names. Really he was. It was a CURSE. Not in the literal sense, like no one had cursed him to forget names. His brain was just full of other important things so he tended to LOSE names.

"Can I have a soapbox? So I can stand on it in the Atrium and tell people how amazing Apparition is?" He should SO be able to.

Who was she talking to here? An apparition instructor, or her fourteen year old son?

"Please refer to me as Miss Schultz, or Gabriela," she said with a small smile. Lucky for Patrick, Gabi was exhausted from the floo network catastrophe and was in no mood to argue or reprimand anyone today. In a way she was almost being a bit FRIENDLY than usual. Exhaustion will do that to you.

"I'm going to try and finish fixing this Floo Network crisis," she explained. "And I see we have a visitor, so I will be tending to them. And as for a soap box," she waved her hand. Again, too exhausted. "Do what you must. I'm too tired to think right now," she said with a sigh.

And then she turned and stomped away in her heels to greet their visitor.

Patrick sat staring at Miss Schultz for a long moment, mouth slightly agape. WHAAAAAAA?!

Had she just said YES? And then stomped away like a buffalo? Those heels had to hate her for stomping so. Seriously. But WHATEVAH! He popped his file closed and smiled widely as he pushed off from his desk. Soapbox getting timeeee!

Now... if he only KNEW where to purchase a soapbox. DILEMMA!

Deactivate random portkeys? Seemed simple enough. He put on his specialty gloves and looked around. How did the portkeys even end up here...? He picked up random pieces of trash. He tested each one to see if it was a portkey. Nope. Nor was this one. Or this one.

Then he happened upon a tin can. And sure enough, this was one of the misplaced portkeys. He deactivated it with a "Finite" spell and went in search of the another portkey.

Or a coworker. He'd be fine with either.

UGH Cale was BORED. SO SO BORED. There were only so many times he could organize his filing cabinets. And he'd done that. Five times. Now, he had nothing else to do and he was so BORED. If only someone was around that he could prank or something, like Reese. He wasn't really into playing jokes on people but he was THAT BORED.

Instead, he decided to just walk around his level. It was too quiet in here. Where was everyone? They were all MISSING IN ACTION and he was not at all pleased. Although there was one man actually doing work like he was supposed to. He liked this dude.

"You there, sir! Excellent job!" Cale said with a grin as he watched him de-activate one of those pesky portkeys that were hiding around his level. And he hadn't accidentally portkey-ed himself across the country so that was good too!

Reese was running late…

…. just a tad bit late.

She was carrying a holder of coffee cups in her hands as she waltzed onto into the work area where one of her fellow co-workers were at and her boss. "Coffee, anyone!?" She asked in excitement as she placed the holder on a nearby table. Unless Cale said anything, she was not going to publicly announce that she was late.

Looking over at her pitiful wooden desk, the woman frowned at her nameplate. Of course she has already seen the name "Reese Fritzera" on it numerous times already this week, but she wanted to CHANGE it. Hmmmmm. She shrugged it off, pulled her wand out, and changed her nameplate to "Princess Reese".

Hey! She even had the tiara on today to prove her status (yes, yes she was wearing a tiara to work).
