He couldn't help but wonder if all of that were her backup options but this didn't seem like the time to find out. "Oh, I see," he said, running a hand through his hair, "It's great that you have backup options too. I don't have any, and now you're making me think that I should have some."
As much as he couldn't believe that Ash liked to fill all of her time, he knew that he couldn't ask why. She said she'd be sad, and that was sad in itself. She had her arts and sports, and he could only imagine how much time all of that would take. "Burnout is the absolute worst! But I hope you're getting some time to relax as well. Because doing too much can give you a burnout too."
What did he like to do? Instantly, a wide smile spread across his face. "I like to cook! And bake. I mostly make cupcakes for my friends' birthdays and help my mum out in the kitchen." Pause. "That's all I've ever done. I can't imagine doing anything else."
