Introduction. Ok. HAIII. I'm Danielle, or Dani, or any variation known to mankind. Or not known. I'm good either way. I turned seventeen TOOOOODDAAAAYYY (1st July) and I live in Israel. Used to live in Cyprus. My life was Israel then Cyprus for seven years then Israel again. I wear glasses and I LOOOOOOVE books. And Harry Potter. And SnitchSeeker. And TV series... shall I go on?

Ooooh ^____^ Pleasure to meet you Dani! And you share a birthday with my littlest sister. She's sixteen today. *wibbles* You are all getting so big.

So, Dani who is seventeen and enjoys Harry Potter, how long have you been a member of Snitchseeker? And how did you find us?
I've been a member for two years and a few months (!!!! WOWZA!) and iFail at remembering stuff like that. I can't be sure but I THINK I was googling Harry Potter just to see how many entries it has (because I do that) on google when I saw snitchseeker and I thought "wicked name" or something along those lines... I clicked and the rest is history. Luffly luffy adorable history. *squishes you all*

Eeeeep! Google gives us so many members. How nice of it, ne? So... well you don't remember how exactly you found us, but do you remember what made you stick around? What's your favourite part of the site? Or parts, cos I know some people can't pick just one.

JUST OOONNNEEE? *horrified* Yesh, I am one of those who cannot choose to save their life. I reckon my favourite part of the site is the RP because that's what intrigued me at first but then I branched out and I adore the LC ('tis just so COOOL in there) the TP er, SHH, is it? and the fan clubs. Even though I am a terrible person and haven't been there in ages. LILY POTTER FANS FTW by the way. *shameless advertising*

Sooooooo I have to ask this, before I get into other topics and forget. How did you get into the Harry Potter fandom in general? Or did you forget that too?

... *looks at cake* I dun feel like cake. Which is weird 'cause I LOVE cake. And sugar. And basically just food in general. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!??!?!?! *spazzes* I... er... *tries to remember* Hold on a minute. *scratches chin*

It's probably the most boring one you've heard yet though...
I was in a bookstore (natually) and I saw this book called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Now, I was small but I LOVED big words for some reason and Philosopher qualified as quite big and impressive. The name kinda rang a bell but HP wasn't really THAT famous back then so it wasn't a big thing. Point is, I got the book (BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE, btw ) and began reading that very night. Only I had to stop because for some odd reason I still cannot fathom to this day, I found it utterly petrifying so I put it down. Around half a year or a year later, I picked up again and gave it another try. And BOY, did that try work. I bought all the rest of the books in rapid succession and then joined the anxious waiting for HP four or five. I really can't remember.

OH OH OH and I fell in love with it. Just... yeah. If that wasn't clear. Because I don't think it was.
*giggles*

Awwww! That's so cute! You were kinda afraid while reading it? I know the entire series can kinda bring out the entire gamut of emotions that we all have. Loads of us were crying during the last book, I know that much. But that is the cutest "How I got into Harry Potter" story I have ever heard. And big words like "Philosopher" are quite impressive. Hehe.
Hehe. I KNOW. [/monica!moment] And yes. I think I was dehydrated for a WEEK because of all the tears. For the fifth, sixth and seventh books mind you. Sirius, Dumbledore, and then ALMOST EVERYONE (but mainly Snape... and Dobby... and Lupin and Tonks and Mad Eye... And everyone. Yeah). *clings to 'em*

Fred! *wibbles* Dobby and Fred were the ones that got to me. *wibbles and clings to you* So I really need to ask... do you prefer the books over the movies?

Haha yessss. You're a book lover. Which is your favourite of the series? Can you even pick one?
... I really can't pick. If you go by number of reads, the it's GoF because I've read it 23 times (penciled a light stroke on the first page for every read...) but I adore the first one and the last one TOOOO and PoA is Sirius and CoS is AWESOMELY cooool and SNAPE in HBP... I love 'em all. Can't choose.

I told you though. I can't make a decision to save my life. And, most unfortunately, anyone else's. I really do fail at this whole choices thing...

... *thinks* Hmm. Well, no 'cause it's the same thing with the movies. I like 'em all for their own respective reasons (YES I LIKED PoA... I really don't get why people don't like it) and the first one is just sooooooo cute. Although I have a feeling (after watching the AWESOMEST MOST EXCITING AND WICKEDEST THING EVER that was the new DH trailers) that the last movie(s) will be my favourite.
But it's just a hunch...
Oh, can I just take this moment to say one thing about the GoF movie?

THEY CUT OUT THE QUIDDITCH. THERE WAS NO WORLD CUP. Fudge (which is wrong too -BAGMAN- but I got over that after a while) began the game and then POOOOF Ireland won and they were celebrating. I mean, WWWWTTTTTHHHHHH!?!?!?!?!?!??
*breathes heavily*

I think a LOT of people shared that frustration. I know I kinda did. That was a major plot point and quite a few people feel it should've been in there. And QUIDDITCH. How can you cut one of the most fantastic games ever played? It was so sad. So very, very sad.
EXACTLY. The quidditch scenes in the movies are all ranging from ok to utterly despicable but THIS was a low blow. I mean, C'MON! And with that HUMONGOUS budget they have... >_> Meh. Idiot decision makers.

I think it was to do with the running time, sadly. *makes sad faces* But I do wish it had been in there as well, yes. *loves Quidditch*

Oh goodness. We may have gotten a bit off-track. *blushes* We were discussing the movies, yes? So... there are movies other than Harry Potter, care to share a few outside the fandom that you enjoy?
Off track? iSowwy. I tend to do that somet- Other movies? Well, I like pretty much anything as long as it's not too scary or gory. Or too cheesy, because lately I just CAN'T watch all those disney channel things (apart from WoWP because I am a tiny little kid inside who loves magic). But yeah, other than that I LOVE it. Specific movies that I can think of right now are... Err...

It's fine that we went a bit off haha. We do it all the time. And I looooooved the Ugly Truth. Gerard Butler. Is perfection. Haven't seen Avatar yet, or this Easy A thing, but I'll have to look into them. Hehe. So you tend to enjoy a lot of fantasy stuff? (Obviously, I mean you're here for Harry Potter. Haha)
FANTASY FTW. And Sci-Fi. I HATE reality stuff. And documentaries about anything other than space because they tend to bore me... Romantic comedies are my cup of tea and- Wait. You said Gerard Butler. I LOOOOOOVE HIM!!!

YES. BOOKS. Sorry. Hehe. Erm... Well, I just finished exams so I haven't read in a while but my favourite books (kinda and I apologise to all the books that I LOVE and am forgetting): HP (obviously), LotR, His Dark Materials trilogy, The Prophecy of the Gems (kinda unknown but AWESOME considering it was written by a fourteen year old girl), Meg Cabot stuff (my guilty pleasure), ALL Dan Brown books (exams made me stop reading the new one T_T) and right now I'm starting Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card which I think is going to be amazing.
I think I've forgotten some.
OOOH My Sister's Keeper.
I ADORED that book. Made me cry for days.

Oh gosh you have good taste in books. And I share your sentiments about My Sister's Keeper. ;____; I sobbed. They made it into a movie, didn't they? Did you see it?

Oooh, thank you! And NO. I will not. The [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER] the wrong person dies at the end I heard. The OTHER sister. O_O Which I think just ruins the whole book. Plus I love that book too much to watch the movie (I watch the HP movies because I have a very stubborn version of the books in my head that cannot be ruined by anything... I dunno how it happened, but it did and I'm glad ).

Ok, here it is: 1. Make the official language Simlish so that everyone can talk to everyone. 2. Kindly ask the world and the solar system if they could find a way to stop this whole TIMEZONES thing. 3. Erect a HUGE Harry Potter statue at every big city in the world so that people will be constantly reminded of its AWESOMENESS. 4. Make everyone not hungry and at peace with everything (I'm still working on the how). 5. Make everyone HAPPEH.

And yeah... That's pretty much what I would do. Give or take a few details. Hehe.

Number 1 is possibly the greatest thing EVER. The world would be so AWESOME. And all the rest are amazing as well. =D

But now, alas, the only thing left for you to do is ask a question of our NEXT MotM. It was such a FUN interview.

I got one. I don't reckon it's very original but it's a question I ask myself every day (well, not really, but I did ask myself this once or twice): If you could either go into a book or take a character out of one (nothing from HP), which book/who would it be and why? This can be serious or not, it's up to the next member of the month!

How's that? It's worded a bit weirdly, but yeah. . . I did Hebrew Literature a couple weeks ago, I'm allowed.

That's fine. ^____^ I rather like that question, and I anticipate an amusing answer. Hehe. Sadly though, it means our interview has come to a close.
