Who can I RP at this?
As this is Hogsmeade, you can RP ANY of your characters, as long as they are listed in your profile! Hogwarts characters, Ministry employees, Diagon Alley employees, and even those random ones we all have floating around somewhere!

All we ask is that you have your characters listed in your profile somewhere (this is a good spot) and that you differentiate between characters by using varying fonts/colors. Also, please don't RP exclusively with yourself. That takes all the fun out of it!


Where do I RP?
All the threads in this subforum, with the exclusion of the debate platform, are open to your RPs. If you want to know what's going on in the debate, follow along by reading the debate thread. You can post your character's reaction or can engage in RPs with other characters in the student seating, general seating, and refreshment table threads.

Members of the press are free to sit wherever they would like (regardless of whether or not they're actually Hogwarts students) and may feel free to converse with anyone in attendance at this event.


What is the timeline for this RP?
This takes place in December 2079. The IC date is Dec. 5, 2079, but OOC, we'll be keeping the debate open from Jan. 31 - Feb. 9 2013, so that everyone has plenty of time to reply to debate questions and react accordingly!


How does the debate work?
This will become clearer to you as the event begins, but it's basically set up as a question-and-answer scenario, with ample time between questions for all candidates, regardless of timezone, to reply. At the end of the event, there WILL be a dunking, so stay tuned!
