This is definitely the place to go if you're looking to get rid of some stress or knock out some of your excess energy. Go on, pull up a swing or go for a slide! Act like a monkey on the monkey bars. Or, take a seat in the sand that surrounds all the equipment and build a castle.

Just beware of a certain Herbology professors cat on the search for a new litter box.

He was just about ready to knock that person off when he realized it was Monty.

"MONTY!!!!" he screamed. He had already raised his hands, prepared to shove but he quickly shoved them to his sides. He would have hugged her, but that would be quite an awkward position. He wasn't THAT comfortable around her.

He swatted a butterfly out of his face before doing a headstand so he could look at Monty properly. Or, er, somewhat better than before.

"How've you been, Monty? I've been missing you. Been quite bored without you around." His voice was a bit strained since he was upside down, but he still managed a grin. "But I suppose you prefer not having me around to throw candies at you."

Iris grinned as she heard a yell of MONTY, and yelled "JIMBO!!!!" back to him, equally as enthusiastic. She was about to drop from the bars, to go give him a friendly bear hug or something, when he decided to do a hand stand. "Hey! don't swat my butterflies!" They take skill to create, they do!

She laughed, "I've been good. Really good, actually." She thought about what he said, "though, I do have to admit, the common room is boring without you around." She grinned at him. "Yeah... I've not missed the attack of the candies that much." Iris stuck her tongue out at him before carrying on. "So, where've you been the past few months?"

"I've been-" He grinned mischeviously. He had been about to tell her where he'd been, but he'd rather be silly about it, even if there really was nothing to hide. But that's what makes it better. His voice was getting much too strained now, so he let his body flop to the ground and lay there for one second before doing a backward summersault to land in a sitting position, with his legs crossed. You know, he might make a good gymnast.

He grinned at Monty again as he felt his blood go to it's proper spot in his body. "Anywhere is boring if I'm not around." He shook his head furiously and sand flew in all directions. He lifted his hand and shook his hair some more to get any leftover sand out. "What's been happening with you that's made you so happy that you feel the need to conjure up butterflies?"

Crud, now she was getting sad because she was thinking about Evan again. Why did he have to be gone so much...oh right, because of football....stupid game. He didn't turn his back on her, unlike her boyfriend....Who did have a really good reason.She just didn't want to think about it anymore because well, being mad at him made her feel less guilty about being with Carter.

Carter chuckled. "Oh, it doesn't." he said. He watched as she seemed a bit distracted for a few seconds before suggesting the swings. Which Carter was about to suggest anyway.

Marie took his hand and headed towards the swings. "Do you want me to push you?" he asked.

"I don't knoww how I got into a fight," she said, POUTING. Okay so she did know. But it wasn't her fault she had overslept and made Gold wait for hours anddd............ ah well forget that now. It was OLD NEWSS!!

She EYED the swing thingies and shrugged her shoulders. She hadn't been in the mood. "I guess I CANNN."

She closed her eyes and cleared her mind of all the bad that happened this term. She smiled as she thought about how nice it was to be outside again and not have to worry about if someone was going to attack them. Her smile grew even bigger when she thought about how much she enjoyed spending time with Carter.

Was it wrong for her to be so happy when she was with him?

Carter smiled as he continued to push her. His eyes wandered to the forest. Instead of that haunting feeling he'd had most of the term, it was replaced with curiosity. It was much like the curiosity he had at the end of last term. He still had to go explore the forest with Mina. Maybe they'd run into more thestrals. That would be fun.

"You seem happy." he commented after awhile.

Carter looked over at Rex before turning his attention back to Marie. He liked spending time with her too. But she was with Evan. And everytime he felt something a little more than frienship happiness it all came back to Evan. And he wasn't going to be involved in that situation again.

Speaking of Evan...

"Hey... I have something for you." he said pulling out a small piece of parchment from his robes. "Well... for Evan, but I figured you'd like to give it to him." he said. He handed it to her.

"That's the number of my old trainer. If Evan is good enough I know he's still looking for another for his summer league." he said. "He knows a lot of people, so if he's really planning on playing professionally he should call him up. Just tell him to say he's one of my school mates."

She wanted him.

Gold wanted Dylan Denver, and he was nowhere to be found. The fifth year frowned to herself and, though it was hard to tell by the look on her face that she was unhappy, she was.

Very unhappy.

Stepping into the Jungle Gym and Playground, she found herself a very vacant corner of the place, and sat down. She wanted to be alone, but she also did not want to have to think.

Le sigh.

Dylan looked withdrawn as he walked out onto the jungle gym. He wasn't there to play. He wasn't there to think. He was there to be surrounded by people, whilst being alone. He hadn't slept since the incident on the fifth floor. He was in his pyjama bottoms with his school shirt and tie on top. His hair was a ruffled mess, and his eyes were sunken. You could tell he hadn't slept. He had that look about him. And the fact that he couldn't seem to dress himself, a slight giveaway.

He wasn't even watching where he was going, when he tripped over someone. "Oh sorry," he mumbled, his face flat to the floor. He now had a graze on his chin to go with the other features. Oh well.

The hug was slowly removed from him. That wasn't a good feeling. He wanted her back in his arms again. It made the pain go away. Slightly. He still felt numb, but with her in his arms it was a nice numb. And then something touched his lips. He opened to see it was Gold. The sides of his mouth picked up slightly, but dropped as soon as she moved her head away.

Did he love her? He knew in his head he did. He had said it so many times. But now he felt nothing. No love. Nothing. She couldn't love him after what he had done to her. One of the reasons why he hadn't slept. He didn't want to be reminded of what he had done.

"Mmm," he mumbled. His eyes closed again.

Iris raised her eyebrow at him as he said this, then laughed. "Around where? It's school." She stuck her tongue out at him, jokingly. Iris watched him jump down all gymnastically. Hmpf. Why could all of her friends do that and she couldn't? She decided that copying Jimbo and going right side up would be the safest thing to do right now.

So she jumped down from the monkey bars.

The clumsy, un-gymnastic way.

Stumbling slightly as her feet hit the ground, and the head rush started, Iris walked over to Jimbo and nodded, in half agreement to his statement. She sat down on the grassier patch of sand and lay on her belly; proping herself up on her elbows and looking up at Jimbo. She smiled happily, "Nooothin'" she answered, mocking his mysteriousness from before. Iris rolled over onto her back, deciding it was more comfy. Besides, then she could watch the clouds. Again.

Gold sighed. Everything - everything! - was backfiring. She wanted her Dylan back and... and she was just glad she had managed to elicit a response from him. That was an improvement.

Dylan frowned again. Now she was saying she loved him again. Wha? He was so confused. Did she want to be with him or not? His chest ached. Was this love? He just couldn't say it yet. Not til he could feel again. And that was definately not now.

"Better?" he asked. What was better? The horrors of a few days ago, wouldn't go away. He held onto her head, as she rested against his chest. "I will never be better." He would never be himself again. Well, he would, but it would be a different him. He just needed to sleep.

"Well,you should know Carter is not Evan, but if you can't tell, I am not going to help you either" Rex gave out a little evil laugh. " You say you are Carter's friend just like all those other girls who he likes and drops like hot potatos" Rex tells Marie. I bet Evan is a good guy who would not even cheat on you while he is gone but I guess in your case " The mouse will play while the cat is away" Rex sarcasically said to Marie.
"Well, seems none of the boys choose to talk to me but a lot of girls seem to like my sweetness, but I would never cheat on Kay" Jason explained to Marie. " Some stupid thing that tripping got a lot of girlss to like me, but that was cluminess which Healer Ashford fixed" Rex smiled at Marie.

" You sure have a bevy of beauties" Rex told Carter. "Ella, Mina, now Marie and oh yes, was there not a Marilyn too ?" Rex asked Carter. " Will Nicoletta be your girl next week or do you have one a day like the muggle vitamin " One-A -Day" Rex laughed with a slight sneer in his voice.

Kay was out walking. She had alot to think about. Finals, for one. As she walked she come to the playground. Stopping when she heard Rex's voice she looked around until she saw Him! Them? He was with Marie, and some other girl? Kay couldn't hear what they were saying but they looked like they were laughing and have a good time. Kay's heart broke a little and wondered what was going on. Why was Rex with them? Who was the new girl? Had everything that had happened finally drive Rex away? Sighing to herself she started to turn to go the other way. She would talk to Rex when everyone else. (Marie) wasn't around. Looking at the lake she thought maybe she would go sit under ~~their~~ her tree.

Jimbo broke into a huge grin when he saw her stumble.

Ah, Monty. My Monty. How uncoordinated.

He laughed at her mocking tones and swatted another butterfly. Stupid things kept flying into his face. He'd have squashed them already for being so annoying except that Monty would probably get mad.

"Ah, so you won't tell me. Well, that's alright. I don't care to know what's going on in the life of the mysterious Monty Beaumont."

Wait. Did he just say her last name...twice?
Whatever.

"How do you ever expect me to tell you what I've been doing if you don't tell me why you're so happy? Not that I care, Monty. I do not care the slightest bit about you." He smiled at her and scooted over to lay down beside her

and regretted it a bit when he kicked up a load of sand that hit him - and only him, not Monty who was so close and it really SHOULD have hit her.. gr.. - in the face. And so, he spluttered. Very unattractive.
