"What way?" He asked looking at Bella more interestedly now a slightly confused expression on his face. "Of course I am." He said with a grin at Patience, "It's in my nature." He said looking at her for a second, she seemed to be acting slightly... different.

Torin shrugged as Tristan dismissed him, intent on staying with the small group he had walked over to. Turning back to Patience as she spoke, Torin shook his head slightly and said, "No, he seems a little preoccupied. I'm sure he'll catch up to us later." With a smile, he offered her his arm and said, "I'd be happy to escort you." Torin waited for Patience to walk with him, noticing that the other two had already gone off ahead of them and leaving them alone together. He didn't intend on rushing after them. Maybe if they stayed back a little, they could talk a little more uninterrupted. For some reason, Torin found this girl intriguing and wanted to get to know her better.

Patience nodded at his explanation of his friends behavior. She noticed tha Bella and Victor had conveniently disappeared. Mentally she blessed Bella and her timely distraction for Victor. He had been good, but that couldn't have lasted much longer. His troublesome nature would have won out eventually.

Smiling the Ravenclaw took Torin's offered arm. She fell into step easily with him, as he kept up a slow and steady pace. He didn't seem to be in that big of a hurry, which suited her just fine. They didn't have anywhere else to be apparently, and there was no one there to make them. She looked up and studied his face. "So. Mr. Slytherin, tell me, what is your favorite subject?"

She suddenly found that she wanted to know everything about him. He was interesting and handsome and polite. He puzzled her.

"Oh," She half groaned at his male stupidity, "You know... That "You're the most gorgeous and greatest person" look. Please tell me you didn't overlook that when you were talking to her?"

Bella turned around and noticed that Torin and Patience had fallen behind. "Purposely?" She thought. Whether or not, it made her smile for her friend.

"Well of course she thinks that, I mean who wouldn't? I mean I'm Victor Prince." He said with a smirk as if this was the most obvious thing in the world.

She gave him a playful smack on his shoulder, seeing as she wasn't tall enought to reach his face. "Well, Victor, if you're so suave, then why aren't Patience and the other females back there swooning over you at this very moment?"

"They've just gotten used to my extremely good looks, just because I'm the most gorgeous boy on this planet doesn't men every girl is going to like me after knowing me for this long." He said his smirk even bigger.

Sapphire sighed as she watched Victor get surrounded by his fan girls and then take off toward the Kitchens. She crossed her arms slightly, as she looked around the empty room. Victor Prince, why oh why did she have to fall for that one? She should have just kept to her studies and not bothered with boys at all, especially one that thought all the girls swooned in his mere presence..

Well.. okay so they all did.. Her included. Her pretty purple eyes went wide as she twirled her hair around her finger in an absentminded way. Gah! She was no better than a fan girl!! And here she was, obsessing over Victor when the whole school was empty!!!! She put her head into her hand and sighed more. She had it bad.... very very bad..

Oh well, might as well get up and join the throng surrounding Victor, maybe he might remember her presence... She sighed and moved toward Victor and his fan girls.. "Having fun over here?" She asked softly as she looked around.

"Hey Sapphire, I was just wondering where you were." He said with a grin and he pulled her towards him with a smile. "Coming to the kitchens with us?" He asked noticing that Patience and Torin were still a bit behind them.

Sapphire smiled softly at Victor. " Well I was watching you with your fangirls!!" She said with a soft grin as she poked her tongue out at him as he pulled her closer.She shook her head slightly and nodded. " Of course I am coming to the kitchens with you, do you think I would let you out of my sight?" She teased him. "But.. I am actually pretty hungry.." She added as she looked up at Victor with a bright smile.

"If they're fan girls they're not very good ones." He said with a chuckle, "Patience is back there with a boy she obviously likes and Bella just hit me." He said with a smirk but he said this quietly so Patience and Torin wouldn't hear him.

Sapphire laughed quietly as she heard Victor speak, " Well good, then. We will leave your fan girling up to a girl who can do it well! Me!" She laughed a bit and then fluttered her eye lashed playfully. " Shall I swoon every time you smile? Or just giggle excessively and run around screaming your name?" She asked as she walked with him.

Victor chuckled at this, "all sounds good to me." He said with a smirk and he winked at her, "you know I love the attention." He said smiling at Sapphire.

Sapphire giggled a bit at Victor as he spoke, and she pretended to swoon when he winked at her. " Oh, the handsome Victor Prince just winked at me! Whatever shall I do?" She asked with a giggle as she looked up at him. " Yes, I know you love all the attention. I should be mean and not give you any." She said as she pretended to ignore him.

"Aww.... You wouldn't do that to me would you?" He asked her with a smirk sd she pretended to ignore him, he knew it wouldn't last though.

Sapphire looked at Victor with a playfully frosty look. "Maybe, it might be good for that ego of yours to fall a few notches." She said as she walked ahead of him, pretending not to pay any attention to him. While she walked she noticed that there really were no other people around here, besides the ones that had just got off the train with them. She could feel a small shiver run down her spine at the thought of being mostly alone in this big castle.

She paused and waited for Victor to catch up with her before looking up at him with a serious face, all playfullness gone. "Why do you think we are the only ones here?" She asked softly.

Victor shrugged, "I really have no idea." He said thoughtfully, "it doesn't make sense to me at any rate." He said and smiled at Sapphire, "I'm sure we'll find out soon though and we'll be okay." He assured her with a comforting tone.

Sapphire sighed and looked up at Victor as he spoke, " I hope so. I mean, what if the reason that no one else is here, is that Hogwarts is in danger. But then, why would they forget to send a letter to us?" She asked as she nervously played with her hair. The thought of being in danger was frightened to her. There was a reason she was put into Ravenclaw and not Gryffindor. She was smart, not brave in the least.

"Trust me Sapphire, we'll be fine." He said in a very convincing tone and he believed every word he said. He wasn't scared despite being in Ravenclaw, "I'll protect you if your really scared." He said smirking again.

Sapphire smiled despite the fact that she was afraid. "Thank you Victor, I know you will protect me." She said moving slightly closer to him. She fell silent for a few minutes as she just walked with him. "Are we getting closer to the Kitchens?" She asked softly as she sighed a bit. Her stomach growled as she spoke, emphasizing the fact that she was hungry.

Victor grinned as they walked along, "you don't go to the kitchens very often do you?" He asked grinning, "we're nearly there." He said smiling.

Sapphire shook her head. " No, I usually have no reason to go to the Kitchens, Unlike you I don't sneak out at night to get food! I stay nicely in the common room studying, like I should be." She said with a saucy little grin as she looked up at Victor. She was starting to feel a little better, and besides who could feel bad when a cute boy was there to protect you?

Anya looked over to Keegan. SHe was glad that she was close to someone else here other than Shawn. "So did you have a good summer?" She asked him as they were walking down to the kitchens. She was really wondering what it would be like if the two of them ended up as more than friends, she quickly pushed the thought out of her mind though and waited for his answer.

Shawn looked at Emma. The Great Hall was starting to thin out. "Well as long as we are seemingly here without any professors we might as well take advantage of it." He told her with a smile. THere had always been places in the school that he wanted to check out and things he had always wanted to do. "Do you want to go somewhere?" He asked her with yet another warm smile.

Bella smiled at Sapphire when she joined herself and Victor. She gave a little wave and trotted off ahead, not wanting to intrude and also knowing that she would feel awkward around the lovers. A sense of loneliness filled her, her shoulders sagging slightly, her gaze dropping to her feet, and her pace slowing. There was almost nobody in the castle (whether she knew them or not) that was not in a relationship, or at least coming to one.

She thought of the boy she had seen earlier, Jack, was his name? Justin???

Her thoughts of the boy immediately stopped when she reached to doors of the kitchen.

Torin had felt immensely at ease walking at such a relaxing pace with Patience. Of course he enjoyed being in the company of pretty girls, but there was something different about this girl. Something he couldn't quite put his finger on. She seemed to genuinely welcome his company and was really easy to talk to... until she mentioned classes.

Of course she being a Ravenclaw, she was probably an excellent student, but for Torin lessons weren't exactly his strong suit. What would Patience think of him once she found out that little bit of information? He pushed that thought aside as he was never one to be insecure and gave her a nervous little smile as he looked down at her.

Responding in kind, he said, his smile growing to a mischievous grin, "Well, Miss Ravenclaw, I suppose I enjoy Astronomy. Who doesn't like to star-gaze, right? And you, what's your favorite?"
