It might be a tad too soon, DH pt. 2 came out in 2011 which is about a decade reprieve (although at least a couple of the original actors is glad or wants to be disassociated), original spin-offs such as the Mauraders might have better priority but there is a lot of important details the films were not faithful to that a television series can reconcile such as all of the Voldemort memories and S.P.E.W and that is something I find I am looking forward to.
I however, am concerned about the actor casted as Snape, a black actor in the worst role to use for black representation.
Snape isn't just the most explictly white character (pale and pasty from always being in the dungeons): he's a negative sterotype.
We're talking about a character who is bullied as a child, and the subject of suspicion as an adult based on appearance, is overlooked for a job for almost a decade all coming from white charactors, is involved with the magical equivalent of the KKK (even when he was just undercover) and murders a white man.
I fear this has the potential to ruin the entire franchise.
