Professor Newton has always believed the BEST tester for potions is humans! As there is not much time during lessons to try out potions and journal the effects, he has set up a club, or Test Lab, so that students can come and learn the analytical skills required by Potion Testers.

Each session will begin with Professor Newton unveiling a small selection of potions for students to try out. They might be potions brewed during the previous lesson, or a potion/range of potions he had brewed himself. He will talk students through how to analyse the potion with the five senses, and how to journal the effects of it, as the body absorbs it. He may or may not choose to reveal what the potion/s is/are, and challenge you to work it out, OR he might decide to tell you.

On a small table down the corridor, there is a little booklet of forms, should you choose to attend. Please fill these out with the pen provided (note it is tied up with string. It is impossible for the fairies to steal it).

OOC: HELLO EVERYONE! I will be hoping to run two of these sessions throughout the term, each lasting about a week. These are NOT lessons, they are NOT worth points. They are here to allow your characters to explore the drinking/effects of potions, which we just don't have time to do during lesson (or homework). We will tell you what potions we are putting out, but will state clearly whether Art has told your students what they are.
Structure is whatever you want it to be! If you just want to come and watch people take potions, that's cool. If you want to go absolutely CRAZY with posting side effects, that's cool. If you only want to do one big post, or 50 little posts, that's cool. If you only have time to post once, that's cool. If you haven't attended any lessons, that's cool, COME AND TRY!
There is NO obligation, there are no rules (I lie, SS rules apply), come on in and use this IC RP exercise however you wish.
I will post a notice on the Chalk Board like I do with lessons, so you'll know a few days in advance.
