2017: Meet Nymphadoraliz

Hey everyone!

I'm known as Liz around here and I'm super excited to be one of your Meet and Greet Mods this month!

I've been a member of Snitchseeker since December 2007 and I have had a number of positions around the site. Currently I am the MLE Department Head in the ministry. Prior to that I was department head in IMC, and have been on the ministry staff since August 2012. I also as of January 2017, the Head of ICW or otherwise known as the language forums, particularly the German threads. I just recently became The Burrow Craft mod, as I absolutely adore crafts and am super excited about the area. I am a former shopkeeper of Madame Primpernelles as well as a former Photojournalist as well as former Journalist for the Daily Prophet. I also RP a 6th year Hufflepuff in the school RPG. I am a former Yearbook Writer as well. I originally was in the Ravenclaw house, resorted to Slytherin and now I'm finally in my house, Hufflepuff! Last count my charrie total here on SS was 14-15, that I have played!

Off-site, I am the mother to 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys, one of whom is in the process of adoption! I've homeschooled since my second oldest was in Preschool, and she is now a 2nd year in college, my youngest I still homeschool and he is in 5th grade. I'm busy running kids around and homeschooling between classes that I am also taking. I graduate this spring with my AA degree, but am going on to get my teaching license, and eventually a Master's in psychology! You might want to know one other thing. I currently own a zoo, well that's what I call it as I have so many pets. We have 5 guinea pigs (1 boy, 4 girls), 1 chinchilla, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Finally, as I said I'm a huge craft fan, and do beading, knitting and photography mainly. I love to travel, and speak many languages including ASL as I'm hard of hearing.

Well, that's enough about me for now, because I want you guys to have something to ask! Make sure it's within our site rules and not too personal... but I really am friendly and don't bite, so ask away!

1. It started with my husbands grandmother, I spent a lot of time there and she taught me how to crochet, so it started and blossomed out from there I really miss her but learned a lot and fell in love with crafting!

2. Oh gosh.....Now it's Gid as he's got such a backstory. But my favorite of all time was my first one, Liz. She was a lot of fun to play and I'd like to eventually bring her back!

3. Fantastic Beasts! I have a lot but that one is my most favorite and want to see for a third time lol again!

1. I would say it's a tie between photography and beading. I love to travel and do photography and have fun doing especially candid. But beading I enjoy because it's relaxing.

2. I have a Canon Rebel T5 SLR. Starting classes this fall with photography I knew I'd need an SLR and had an Olympus before that. I liked the Olympus a lot and still use it, but primarily I use the T5!

3. YES! Oh gosh yes lol. We have 2 cats, Ginevra or Ginny for short and Luna. And my guinea pig's name is Nymphadora!

1. I have been in 3 houses! I personally loved Ravenclaw, as it was my first, and got to know so many people during that time. I miss a lot of them as most of them have gone, but it's the most memorable. As to the hardest? I think Ravenclaw again, as I was just starting out and figuring out what RPing meant lol! I had fun with each of my charries over the years but starting out was really hard for me!

2. Prisoner of Azkaban hands down! I love how Harry is growing up more and there's a lot of action and a good plot line!

3. Oh merlin..... I don't watch it? I have one that I've seen twice though and it was an interesting experience. It was the one that is played at Madam Tussauds in London, 4d. It's got the 3d experience as well as things happening to you in your chair like water spraying or air by your ears or even when the hulk punches you feel it in your back

4. Anywhere? I'd go back to England, I've been there 3 times and want to go back, it's beautiful and fun. But if I was to choose a place I haven't been it's a toss between Australia and New Zealand!

1. *eyes my username* I think I'm going with Tonks she's always been my fav and is so awesome! might be why I like funky hair color....hmm need to dye mine blue again speaking of which
2. TEA! Particularly tea leaves and cubes that you steep. I've been trying new ones lately and now rarely use tea bags!
3. Fried ice cream! sounds weird but so good!
4. I love crafts, photography and everything. But I cannot draw lol! BUT my favorite is a drawing I did almost 5 years ago, that actually turned out fairly well. AND I just found it so I can show it off lol! HERE! Other than drawing? I think my favorite of all time was my quidditch pitch cake!

1. BONES! *pokes my ministry charrie in the face* I am catching up again lol. I don't really watch tv so when I do that's typically what I watch

2. Absolutely Sunset I have 5 acres we live on and it sets over the back of our property and most night's it's just gorgeous! sorry I love photography lol

3. Oh merlin.....I want to say Hermione but....that'd make it too easy. I'd say Luna because we'd have fun finding wrackspurts and stuff!

1. That's a toss up between Chamomile and Oolong! I love them both lol!

2. Dandelion......not joking a friend thought OHHH it's so healthy, here's a large mug full. Maybe it is good for you? But only if you can drink it

3. Oh gosh.........there's so many places! Sydney Opera House comes to mind immediately but also I want to do go to the Great Barrier Reef. But those are 2 common places. I want to travel around it, out into the wilds and just take everything in. Hot or not I think it'd be amazing to see!

4. I think it'd be Germany this last time a few years ago lol! Our phone reception was so sporadic, and we ended up an hour and half out of the way on the autobahn so it took 3 hours longer than planned but we still got to go to the Marksburg Castle, so it was worth it!

Hai! Welcome to SS!

1. I think it's amazing. Every child develops and learns differently and with homeschooling we can adjust much more easily to those needs. My youngest daughter is a really good example of how amazing it can be. She started Kindergarten at age 4 and in her junior year (right now) she is already in college, and now only has one class she's still taking at the high school. She will graduate with her AA degree before graduates high school! I've never regretted homeschooling them and am all for it

2. Ugh no lol! I think they are deterred away because I'm so excited about it. Though 3 of them have joined the site!

3. It was right after my oldest was born. My best friend at the time had just seen Sorcerer/Philosopher's Stone and was so excited. I just rolled my eyes but eventually fell in love with it like she had!

1. Really young! When I was in kindergarten or so, I found a sign language book and started immediately learning as I learnt to read!
2. My husband was homeschooled growing up and I love teaching! Might be one reason I'm going for my teaching license

1. I do! I've got all the different ones except I believe the newest.... So iphone/pad/pod games, chess set, checkers, Clue, and now even the one for the PS lol. OH and the Battle deck game!

I think my favorite is the Battle deck one! It's a lot of fun!

2. My youngest does, but mainly because we're trying to get him to read more lol

3. old.... just kidding. I'll be 37 in a few months I know though what you mean! It makes you feel so old being on the site, but I'm definitely not the oldest here! I know a lot of SSers around your age, and I know quite a few older than I am even, and some that are my age as well!

Chocolate frog! I think they're amazing lol!

I have and it was amazing!!! I cannot wait until it comes out on DVD!
