Mei Lin looked up in surprise at that voice. It was Mr Vindictus. This was probably not a good thing if she was thinking correctly it would have something to do with work that she knew nothing about. And she was right. He wanted mock-ups of the season schedule. Mock-ups she didn't even know if the Division had started. "Colin MacKenzie?" she asked in slight confusion. Why would Colin MacKenzie be coming here? Sighing slightly she waved after him before something clicked in her brain. She could REDOCORATE.

Mei Lin started jumping inside with happiness, this office space really not being her thing. She was sure it was fine for an old person but she was young and had different ideas in mind. A slow smile started creeping onto her face and her eyes began to sparkle as she looked around the office with a new light.

Walking out of her office she whistled slightly before casting sonorous on herself. "All employees come to the Division Head's office now. You have a job to do." Removing the spell she walked back into her office, waiting for everyone to do as she had asked.

Rachel heaved a sigh of relief. She had gone to the Division Head first, even without knowing it, and she wasn't scolded for being late. `Nice to meet you, Mei Lin. Thank you.'
A few minutes later...
Rachel was putting her things in place in her new cubicle, when she heard Mei Lin say, `All employees report to the division head's office now. You have a job to do'. `Ahh! My first task, ' Rachel thought to herself. Determined to win the Division Head's heart, she went looking for her desk.

Chloe hurried towards the Quidditch division. She had gotten an owl from the new Division Head, telling her that there was important biusiness waiting for her. She opened the door and walked past her own cubicle up to the Division Head's desk. "Excuse me, Ms Takahashi, you wanted to tell me something important?"

Smiling at the women who entered, one she knew from earlier and one that she'd never met before Mei Lin gestured for them to sit down on one of the cushions on the floor or on one of the seats around the room. "Yes I do have some work for you however I'd like to wait for a few more minutes before I start. To see if anyone else will come that is. If not I'll let you know the job I want you to do."

Rachel found another lady speaking to the Division Head. She hurried towards her. `Hi Mei Li- I meant Ms Takenouchi. I think you called me?' Rachel said. Then she looked at the other lady.` Hi, I'm Rachel. I'm new here. You are?'

Smiling at Rachel she said, "You can call me Takenouchi-san. Normally since you are all older than me I wouldn't insist on you calling me by my last name however in Japan it's just the polite thing to do. I hope we can all get closer and do away with the formalities at one point." She said while smoothing down her kimono style robe before sitting on a cushion on the floor and motioning for the others to join her. "Now I do have a task for you but I want to see if any of the others come before I hand it out. I'll wait a few more minutes but if they don't report I'll inform the two of you of what I want done and you'll be responsible for carrying it out." Mei Lin quickly poured herself some traditional tea, breathing in the steam before taking a small, appreciative sip.

Belladora was excited for her first day of work. She was very young for a job at the Ministry but she was eager and happy to get to work.
"Um...hello I am Belladora. It's very nice to meet you all " she said shaking thier hands.

Looking at the woman that just walked in Mei Lin shook her head at her slightly and ignored the woman's hand in favour of looking her over. She looked young but older than Mei Lin. Strange since she knew the girl to be only seventeen. "Your late. Not a good impression to make on your first day. Please make sure it doesn't happen again." she said giving a small smile that didn't reach her eyes. "I am someone who expects punctuality. I understand that you may occasionally be late, I may occasionally be late but please all of you try to get to work on time."

Standing fluidly Mei Lin began to pace around the room. "I think we've waited long enough for people to report here, therefore I'll be telling you of your task. Mr Vindictus, our department head came here a few minutes ago and gave us some work to do. He wants mock-ups of the season schedules for all teams in the league, including posters, mailers and advertisements. Also he wants them done before lunch. If they aren't done by then you will be staying in for lunch or until they are done. I know that may sound harsh but it is an order from him and even I can't change that. If it was just me I'd give you more time." she said, coming to a halt in front of the window. "Chloe I'm trusting you to help the others and take charge of them. You've been here the longest and should know what to do so please help show them the ropes?" the question was more like an order. "Also once you're done bring them to me for inspection and then I'll take them to Mr Vindictus' office." Mei Lin then turned away from them running a hand over her face before turning back. "If there are any questions please ask now. Otherwise get on with your task."

Rachel nodded at Mei Lin. `I wouldn't mind, I think its cute to call you Takenouchi-san', she told her. Another girl came bursting into the room. She looked young and was definetely new. She held out her hand and Rachel shook it.`Hi, I'm Rachel. I'm new too, but you should take care that you reach on time. You are late for your first day. Anyway, Takenouchi-san is the division head. She is going to tell us our first task now.'


Rachel listened carefully to Takenouchi-san. `I'll get to work right away, you need not worry', she said. She was ready and started thinking.

Belladora smiled and said happily "I can make the schedual if you want. I'm very good at doing that sort of thing. Or I can do whatever you want " she just wanted to do something Ministry related for the first time (Sry I was late I was goen 4 a day and won't be back until tonight)

"What I want is for you to all work together. You may be good at schedules but since you're fresh out of school I'm guessing you haven't made a Quidditch schedule before. Therefore you are to follow Chloe's orders. It may take a little longer with all of you working together however in the end you will all know that you've submitted exactly what we are looking for." Mei Lin gave them a smile before turning her back and walking towards the boxes of her things which hadn't yet been unpacked. "If you need me I'll be in here." she informed them indicating that they were dismissed and should therefore get to work, levitating the box onto her desk. She would wait until they were gone before opening it.

Wow, this Takenouchi-girl, who looked like she might be ten years younger than Chloe herself sounded pretty ambitious! Chloe thought of the time when she had been new and therefore allowed to make mistakes, and when Ashby had given his orders usually with a little joke. "Okay, I'll... We'll do our best to get the shedule done quickly." she said to the Division Head. Then she turned to the two new girls and said "First of all: Hello! My name is Chloe, as you might have guessed. I would suggest that we have a look at the schedules, posters and stuff from former seasons, use them as an example and think about what ought to be changed."


OOC: I hope I'm doing this right, I have no idea how to make a Quidditch schedule.

Belladora was eage to help so she said "Yeah anything you need I'll get down to it and I can start with looking up all of the old posters and stuff then I'll send them to you" she said then ran out of the room to get to work

(I am almost always on at night everyday so I will get the emails on what to do then. Like I said before

"Also even if you look at past posters please try to come up with something new. Something refreshing that will draw in a new group of younger Quidditch fans. If you think you want me to help I'm more than happy to do so." Mei Lin said, smiling at Chloe. The woman seemed trustworthy enough and if a mistake was made then that was ok. After all these were just the mock-ups. If something needed to be changed Vindictus would probably have no problem telling her that.

Rachel looked up at Chloe and nodded. If Chloe had been here longest, she would be the guide as she would definetely know what to do. As for herself, Rachel knew what attracts youngsters. `Okay, let's wait for Belladora to get the former ads, posters etc. I know what to change in the posters. My younger sister, Rebecca is in her fifth year at Hogwarts. She is a great Quidditch player, she's in the Ravenclaw team too, as Chaser.Well, I know that she would love to have her favourite Quidditch player on the posters and ads. I'll have to ask her who her favourite player is, though. I don't remember. Who is the most popular Quidditch player these days? Any idea, Chloe?'

"Oh and one more thing. I want to remind all of you to vote for the Minister of Magic. The Department is supporting Reagan Taylor, as am I. I hope that all of you will vote and help us direct this ministry into a new era where change is smiled upon and not pushed away. Where Britain isn't afraid to admit to mistakes it has made. So vote and make the right decision for our country." Mei Lin said, suddenly turning back to them. These people needed to help them vote for change and Mei Lin intended to help out where she could.

"That bulky blond guy from Puddlemere, what's his name again? It's important to use the clubs colours and crests. Also the most famous players' spectacular scenes -remember the pictures are moving. My idea is to color everything also the moving pictures inthe clubs colors. -Wait, I'll show you." Chloe crossed the room, exited to do something creative, got a Chudley Cannon's poster out of a large drawer, held it up in the air and flicked her wand at it. The picture of the team that was on it suddenly was the same vibrant orange as the writing above it.

What was that? The Department is supporting Reagan Taylor? What was her Department Head thinking to tell her employees what to vote?! "By the way," she said in a alf-whisper to the two new people "There is no "The Department supports" it is everybody's own private decision whom they vote for. I mean, I'm not teling you not not to vote for Taylor, all I'm saying is that an election is definately not a matter in which you have to do what your boss tells you to!"

"That I know Chloe. I was merely saying that you shouldn't be surprised if you find posters and things supporting Reagan Taylor around here. By the department I meant your department head and division heads. If I meant to tell you what to do I would have said the Division is supporting Reagan Taylor. I didn't make my vote dependant on what my boss told me to but on my personal opinions after listening to the debate and talking to friends here at the Ministry." she said giving the woman a cold little smile, feeling offended after what the woman had suggested. "And I was also merely reminding all of you to vote based on who is the best candidate, Cooper under who we have had seemingly nothing but trouble these past FEW years or Taylor who seems to be promising a wave of new ideas. Now of course all of you can make your own decisions and I wont force you to vote for Taylor. Since the only way I could do that is an illegal spell which I wont ever use on anyone." Really the girl needed to learn how to whisper better. Of course she probably didn't anticipate that Mei Lin would have walked behind her at the very moment she whispered it.

After that little spiel Mei Lin grabbed some posters out of a box and unrolling them began to stick them to the wall using magic. The posters were ones that supported Taylor and would be removed soon enough once the voting ended.

"Also while your idea of using colour is a good one can you also make something that would work in sepia or black and white for the newspapers?" she asked, ignoring the situation from earlier. Chloe was here with the old regime and she would soon have to learn that Mei Lin's own upbringing made her extremely demanding of people, expecting perfection and for her orders to be obeyed. She didn't mind fun and she didn't mind if they talked while they worked but she was no Ian Ashby. The sooner everyone learned that the better it would be.

Rachel looked from Mei-Lin to Chloe and back. Being new here, she was not partial towards Mei-Lin. She actually quite liked her new boss. She was utterly perplexed by their previous discussion. However, she didn't have to bother, she had already voted for her choice of a Minister of Magic. `Better concentrate on your work, Rachel, you don't want to screw up on your first task', she said to herself.

`Yeah, this would be nice. What happened to Belladora? She's supposed to get those previous posters, ads and stuff, right? '

Ooops! What Chloe had said had not been intended for the Department Head's ears, not in the tone in which she had said it particularly! "I... I think I must have misunderstood you then." she spluttered "I... I'm just such a fan of democracy, that I took what you said the wrong way. I mean, naturally you can tell us your opinion on the candidates." (What did she just say? What was a fan of democracy supposed to be?) Chloe smiled excusingly, demurely, looking into Mei Lin Takenouchi's eyes for a second, then looked away. (Dang! That look would have worked better on a man!)
Then she breathed in audibly, straightened herself and said: "As for the newspapers: Well, I suppose it would work in black and white as well." She magicked the poster to black and white, but the spell made the photo of the team go blurry. "Hmm, okay we should take pictures that have not been orange before for the newspapers. And we should put an emphasis on the pictures in the newspaper ads and on the colors on the posters."

`Oh, this is turning out to be a very creative first task', thought Rachel. `Hmmm- yeah, that should about do the trick', said Rachel. She waved her wand and the ad in the newspaper appeared as Chloe described it. `What do you think, Chloe, Takenouchi-san?'

Belladora walked in looking very tired and messy "Ok I've looked in every forum possible and have no idea where they could be" she said looking ashamed that she didn't find the things her boss asked her to find (Sorry I wasn't around last quittich season so I don't know where it was, so I looked in all of the forums and couldn't find anything. Sorry that I let you down but please don't get mad)

Mei Lin looked at Chloe suspiciously but decided not to comment on what was obvious back peddling in an attempt to get out of a sticky situation. "That look would work better on a male than it will on me. Now for the newspaper I think that's a good idea, or maybe we could get pictures of the captains of each team and merge them together in the newspaper to show that Quidditch is about to start and to get the fans from every team interested." Mei Lin suggested before looking over at Rachel.

"That looks alright but it's a little blurry here," Mei Lin informed the girl, pointing to the seeker who's face you could barely see. "If you fix that up it should be fine for a basis to work upon." Giving Rachel a small smile she was about to walk out of her office to grab a file when Belladora came back through the door.

Looking at the girl she shook her head and sighed internally. The girl was useless. She knew they shouldn't have hired a seventeen year old. "Did you try looking in the Department filing cabinet? Oh never mind I'll do it myself." She said walking out of her office.

OOC: Belladora please stop making all those OOC comments. Some are fine but if you keep doing it you could get in trouble if you RP in other places like the school later on.

Rachel looked over to the spot where Takenouchi-san's finger was directed. `Oh, yeah sure, I can fix that,' she shook her head at that silly mistake. She waved her wand once more and looked at the picture. It was clear now, and it looked pretty nice now. At least, Rachel felt it did. She smiled at looked at Takenouchi-san.

Zanna rushed in, So sorry I'm late. Got held up a floor down. She looked at the other people in the room, then she smiled, What have I missed? Her smile was full blown.
