Hey all I'm Amy and this is my second FF on SS. And my first one Shot. I do not own any of the charaters they belong to JK Rowiling who with out we would not be able to make so many fun stories. The son is Beautiful Soul sung by Jesse McCartney(SP) So please read and review



Beautiful Soul



"Harry, just leave me alone" Ginny said. She and Harry were sitting in the common room, everyone else was asleep.

"Not till you hear me out." Harry replied, his voice raising a little

Harry had done alot of thinking since he broke up with Ginny. He wanted her back, but she wasn't listing. He was so miserable. He needed her back, but how?

"No, Harry, you listen." Ginny said her face turning red. "You broke up with me and now you want me back? Why? So when something goes bad you can want to break up with me again? I can't take that hurt anymore Harry." Ginny said as she stormed up to the girl’s dorm.

Harry just sat there and looked at the spot were she was just at. He didn't know what to do. He needed her back. He loved her but didn't know how to tell her. She wouldn't listen to him so what was he supposed to do? And right on cue Hermione and Ron walked in. Harry decided that he needed to talk to Hermione to see what she thought.

"Harry, are you okay?" Hermione asked.

"No, she won’t listen to me and I don't know what to do." Harry stated.

"Why don't you sing her a song after the match tomorrow?" Hermione said. "I know the perfect song from a Muggle pop star. It’s called Beautiful Soul."

"I don't know Hermione, I can't sing that well. I just don't think she would listen to me. She hates me." Harry replied.

"C’mon Mate, you can do it. You know you need her." Ron said smiling.

"But what if she won’t listen?" Harry replied with a sad look.

"Oh she will I will make sure that she is there and stays there." Said Ron.

"Fine, I'll give it a shot. Where are the lyrics Hermione?" He asked

Hermione grabbed some spare parchment off of the table and a Quill. She wrote them down and handed them to Harry. "I promise she will love it, Harry." She said with a Grin.

Harry sat there and stared at the lyrics. Hermione hummed them in her head as he did so. And Harry thought of how much he missed Ginny and hoped that this would work. He needed her to listen.

"Well I'm off to bed" Harry announced. "Thanks Hermione." He said with a smile.

He got in and fell asleep after thinking about how Ginny would react, hoping that she would take him back.



Harry woke up the next morning bright and yearly and headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. Ginny was sitting down there by herself, but Harry didn't go and sit by her. He just grinned as he walked past her. She smiled back at him.

"Wonder what’s gotten into him..." Ginny thought to herself. She kept looking over at him but he was to busy reading something. "I wonder what he's looking at?" Ginny thought out loud.

"What are you thinking about?" Hermione asked Ginny as she walked in the Great Hall and saw Ginny looking at Harry, she had her thinking face on.

"Nothing, just wondering what Harry's reading." She answered.

"Probably a homework review." Hermione said trying not to sound too much like she knew what it was.

"Ya." Ginny said. "Well I’m going down to the pitch to get ready for the game, bye Hermione." Ginny said before walking out of the Hall and heading out for the Pitch.

"Harry you look nervous. You okay?" Hermione asked.

"Ya, just nervous. But it will all be over soon." Harry replied. "Well I'm off to the pitch. Coming Ron?" Harry asked.

"Ya, just a minute." Ron said. He went over to Hermione. "Hope this goes well. Harry is miserable and so is Ginny." Ron said to Hermione, giving her a kiss.

He left and went down to the pitch. Everyone was already there and waiting for Ron. Harry still kept stealing glances at Ginny every so often.

"Okay team, are we ready?" Harry asked.

"Ya." They all said.

The game went well. Harry kept looking for the Snitch but couldn't see it for the longest time. He also kept glancing at Ginny as she scored four goals in a row. He did a loop-de-loop to show his excitement. Then he saw the snitch. He dove for it and caught it. He ended the game. The score was 60 to 250. He had won the game for them. They were still in the running for the championship. Harry gave the team a hug as they hit the ground. And then he found Ron.

"Hey mate." Harry said. "Can you make sure Ginny's in the common room in about ten minutes?" He hurried off.

Harry went up to his dorm and changed into a pair of jeans and a red shirt that he had bought with Ginny in the hopes that she would remember that time. Then he sat on the edge of his bed and thought, looking at the lyrics in front of him.

"It's now or never." Harry said finally, getting up and heading down to the Common Room. He stopped at the top. There was Ginny sitting by the table by the window with Ron and Hermione. Everyone else was in the Common Room, but Harry wasn't going to let that get to him. He walked down the stairs singing:

He sang while walking down the stairs. Everyone started to stare at him. Except for Ginny, so he did the next part:

Ginny looked up at those words to see Harry with a smile and blushing at the same time.

Harry looked over at Ginny and their eyes met, holding the glance in her eyes he went on:

Ginny could see the meaning in the words and a tear slid down her check. But she never broke eye contact.

Harry looked at her and a tear came down his check also. He knew he loved her and would never hurt her. He hoped she knew that to.

Harry just smirked while singing this verse, he knew it was true and hoped he wasn't making a fool of himself. The room was silent while he sang the rest of the song.

Harry finished the song and just looked into Ginny's eyes, searching for something to let him know what she was thinking. Ginny got up and walked over to Harry and stood on her tip toes. Harry slowly lowered his lips onto hers and kissed her like he had never done before. It didn't occur to him that everyone was watching them. Nothing mattered but him getting his Ginny back and he wanted to keep it that way. Ginny started to pull away but Harry wouldn't let her. He backed her into a wall and just held her there. But He finally let go when he needed air.

"I love you Ginny and every word I just said is true. I hope that you will take me back." Harry said.

"Yes Harry I will take you back." Ginny replied kissing him again.

Harry was a happy man.

Just some constructive critizim *ducks just in case* You might want to put the lyrics in italitics because it's easier to tell. I mean, I know that that was the song, but I'm not sure everyone on SS would know that song

No need to hide. I will go back and fix that. Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to probably do another one shot of Harry and Ginny's wedding day. Not sure though. What do you all think?

This is really good!! I couldn't decide what I was supposed to do, I felt bad at first for Harry because Ginny wouldn't take him back..then it was really cute that he was going to sing her a song and that she took him back, but I couldn't get the image of Harry singing out of my head, which I can't see as romantic though it probably would be. It's just really funny I lovee this though. It's really good!!

A wedding day story sounds really good I think you should write one I'll just wait in the tent until you do

Glad you liked it. Ya it makes you kinda want to cry. Ya i was afraid to do a one-shot not knowing if it would be good or not. But i tryed to do it justice. I'm dong anthoer one of ther wedding day or maybe make it into a story of how Harry propses to Ginny to Ginny planning to the wedding day not sure yet though.
