Walmart to exclusively sell U.S. 2-disc special edition Deathly Hallows: Part 2 DVD
 

As with Deathly Hallows: Part 1 this past spring, Walmart will exclusively be selling the 2-disc special edition DVD set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in the U.S., out November 11, 2011. The cover of the set, thanks to Sufyan's tip, can be seen here. The box set, which will contain the same extras as the Blu-ray triple-play, can be pre-ordered here.

I have all the 2 disc special edition but will this be in blu ray too? there's no point in buying a dvd when there is a blu ray edition of that.

This is great for those of us that don't have Blue ray. Last Spring my husband got the very last one on the shelf at walmart. Even that was a single disc with less special features. I would be surprised if this matches the Blue ray but it is 2 discs so I can hope...

Yes this has the same things the blue ray has!!!! They always do that because everyone doesn't have a blue ray player yet!! That would be unfair to us poor slobs who don't and we would miss out on all the good background stuff.:woot:

Good job, Walmart. I'm sick of missing out on awesome extras and such just because I don't have (and don't need/want) Blu-Ray. I'd love to get the complete 8 set, but I've already bought all of the other films over the years...

Does the Complete 8-Film Collection DVD include some special extras as well as just the films? It looks like they only include the movies. I think it might be worth it to get it if it has something extra. But if it simply includes just the movies, I wouldn't get it.
