Videos: Emma Watson answers People Tree fan questions As reported earlier this year, Emma Watson has answered fan questions to promote her People Tree line. The videos are finally up, where Emma talks about how the fashion line helps the environment, and how fair-trade can become more popular. They can be seen below. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qUsQI2tnf9Q&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qUsQI2tnf9Q&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> Emma's summer 2010 People Tree line is online now. Emma is so pretty! And smart. And cute. And funny. And modest.I could go on and on if you want to.xD |
All the questios were beautifully answered. Way to go Emma, looking forward to trying some fairtrade and thanks for all you've been doing for those less fortunate :D Best of luck to you! |
Emma is absolutely beautiful, not to mention smart, wise and very mature. I love how she handles answering questions so well and at the same time she puts alot of thinking into her answers. Also I would love to know what skin foundation she uses. It is a perfect tone for her skin and makes her even more beautiful (if that's possible). |
The answer to the first question: How do you get Fair Trade to become more popular? It is not just by spreading the word. It is making the clothes cheaper. I DON'T mean make it cheap fashion but fair trade clothing tends to be over-priced. For example one of Emma's clothes cost about 200 dollar!!! That is like a brand name price!!! And we know brand name clothes are over priced just because of the brand's name. How much of that 200 dollars actually goes to the workers? Even though they are paid fairly they aren't paid like buisnessmen. So I think when people say that they want to help make fair trade more popular they shouldn't over-price their clothes. They should have a FAIR PRICE for both the producers and the consumers! |
She looks different.. |
Beautifyl, Stunning, Amazing interview with Emma! |
Great videos! Let us hope this kind of trade spreads al over. |
She was SO pretty in the videos! Absolutely beautiful! Anyway, I think she did an excellent job answering those questions. She was very thorough. |
Emma is so poised and intelligent! And of course she is GORGEOUS! I am so glad that she is such a great role model that young women can look up to. |
Emma is so gorgeous and natural :D I actually own 2 pieces of clothing from her collection, the red scarf and the 'please don't panic I'm organic' scoop dress, and they are sooo comfortable. |
She is amazing! I love that she's so supportive of Fair Trade fashion. It really is a great cause, that needs more awareness. All of Emma's answers were fantastic, you can tell she knows a lot about this issue. :D |
I love the grecian dresses and handwoven skirt. I'm 99% sure I won't purchase them, as they'd have to ship overseas and are a little pricey for me. |
I loved these videos. Emma was so adorable, and I thought she did a lovely job answering the questions. What an amazing girl :loved: |
she is simply great! |

wooow..Great video..!!! and Emma looks beautiful as always ^_^ |
She's so beautiful...love her. Also I love her style |
Emma is such a down to earth young woman who is an amazing role model for everyone. I think Emma knows/realizes FairTrade wont take over and sadly she is right. Our society especially the US puts money before anything else and it is sad. Maybe if we could start to manufacture clothes via FairTrade we would make the world a happier place. A few years ago, I was able to visit the Dominican Republic where a friend of mine was a missionary and we saw firsthand the poor working conditions and homes of people. I think it is awesome and admirable of Emma to do this-also found it interesting that she was assigned the project and took such an interest that she wanted to do further research. Way to go Emma!! :) Maybe someday the big companies will open their eyes. |
