| | | Video: Warwick Davis on favorite moment in Deathly Hallows
Actor Warwick Davis, who plays Charms Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook, a goblin from Gringott’s, spoke a bit about playing both characters, and reveals his all time favorite moment while filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part Two, which happened during the shooting of the final battle sequence. Quote:
I think all of my favorite moments are in the last two films. I got to do some really interesting and important things, which is nice. Previously in the films, it's always been great to be there, but normally I've been the kind of comic relief. I've had silly, fun things to do, which have been very memorable. It's wonderful. People always remember those moments, but I felt having Griphook and Flitwick [in the final two films] — I have much more bearing and importance on the plot as well.
Quote:
People who've read the books will know this, but the moment where Voldemort exclaims that Harry Potter is dead ... to have read that and to actually be there as it's happening, that was quite emotional and quite surreal. It sends a shiver down your spine because you're standing there and witnessing this event. It's almost like reading the newspaper going back in time, witnessing a world-changing event.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be out November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011. |

I love that last quote about how it feels to be there(When Voldemort exclaims Harry is dead). It does sound like a surreal thing.

Definitely. The movie might possibly make me cry, especially part two.
Even as I was reading the book, it was scary to think that Harry was dead. But then again, I saw I had a few chapters left to read and knew that somehow, Harry would have to return. |

This is great interview. Warwick sad everything right. Imust admitt that the part two scares me most cause I've read the book and I know what'll happen and I already told my husband that when we'll be at the cinema , he might sit two or three rows infront or behind me cause I'm going to need a lots of tisues and I'm going to cry that hard that I could just make all the other people ran out of the cinema.I think that's exactly what's going to happen. Hihihihi!
I think that I just want be able to control my emotions. Maybe I should go alone and watch the movies. So I 'll won't emberres my husband and my brother. We also taking my brother with us to watch the both movies.
I should think it all over once more.

I love Flitwick for his little comic relief moments - like when he celebrates after the twins let off all those fireworks in Phoenix and then tries to regain his composure. Likewise, Seamus who always has something blowing up in his face! Some of the most memorable moments are the ones that make you laugh. Warwick Davis is a lovely guy, really glad he got the role of Griphook in DH |
