Video: Rupert Grint accepts his BBC Radio 1 Teen Award, talks Postman Pat & Twitter
A clip of Rupert Grint receiving his Best British Actor award at Sunday's BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards has been released online, where he thanked the fans and was startled to receive the recognition, citing himself as 'the ginger in the background'. That can be viewed here.

Also, Rupert answered a few fan questions, revealing that his next project is the Postman Pat film, and that he is rather keen to start an official Twitter account.
Are you working on any new movies or projects?
Rupert Grint: Yeah. I'm doing the Postman Pat movie. It should be fun. It's kind of a musical story so different to stuff I've done so far.
Have you ever thought about getting a Twitter account to communicate with your fans?
Rupert: Yeah I have thought about it. I think it's a good way to communicate with fans. There have been a lot of fake ones of me. They post really embarrassing things like 'I've just taken a massive dump.' So I should probably do it.
Is it scary to move on from Harry Potter, a project you've worked on for over 10 years?
Rupert: It is quite daunting because we've all been in a bubble — it's been the same crew and cast the whole time. It feels like an incredibly big step because I grew up on those sets so to be going out in the real world is quite scary. I've done a few films in between Harry Potter and the first day on set of those was always quite nerve-wracking, to try and find that same family feeling as Harry Potter. It's exciting though.
What's the funniest/scariest/weirdest fan experience you've ever had?
Rupert: It depends where you are. American fans are quite crazy. We had a premiere in New York and after we were finished we drove off in the car. This guy in a wheel chair grabbed on to the back of the bumper. We were trailing him along for about a mile! I'm not sure if he was a fan or just wanted a lift.

Haha postman pat isn't a musical, the film just involves the characters taking part in a sort of britains got talent, or an Xfactor type thing. Or in this case "Greendale's got talent" lol. but I really hope he sings.
And well done rupert, you have no idea how much you deserved that award!
