| | |  The Sun launch Tales of Beedle the Bard release party contest
The Sun newspaper are offering five children the chance to attend the Tales of Beedle the Bard tea party in Edinburgh, Scotland on December 4th. Children between the ages of 8 - 11 can enter to hear Jo read from her new book. Profits from the tales, which go on general sale the same day, will go to The Children’s High Level Group to help kids in Eastern Europe.
The prize includes an all-expenses paid trip to the city, courtesy of Bloomsbury, with each child bringing one adult. The event is to be held in the afternoon at the National Library of Scotland. Two runners-up will get signed collector's editions of the book, courtesy of Amazon.co.uk.

You must check w/ the individual bookstores, as of a month ago, Barnes and Noble did not have plans to have a party. They should though, it will be very popular...I would certainly go.

You should check. So far only British shops have announced any. If you find out anything, send info in to us. If the stores think there is a demand, then they are more likely to do it. So it really is down to fans to make a noise.
