Signed Deathly Hallows to aid Special Needs trip to Florida The South Wales Evening post has a story about the Special Needs Activity Club in Port Talbot, Wales, where organisers are hoping to send families to Florida for a holiday. They hope a signed copy of Deathly Hallows will help raise funds. Plans to send the group swimming with dolphins started three years ago, but have since come up against unexpected costs. Most of the families have never been to Florida, with some having never left Wales. Quote:

I do admire Jo so much for this! She is a most amazing woman! This type of cause is so close to my heart as I'm a childcare worker and it's what I love doing. To see those kids smile is like nothing else! It is a feeling which makes it all worth while. Children with Additional Needs rarely see this kind of attention in their happiness, and neither have their parents. So this really does make my eyes well up a bit! It's so amazing! Here's to all the money possible for those kids! |
