Potter cast fight to save Bush Theatre
 
Daniel Radcliffe, who has worked to help the Bush Theatre before, has officially signed on to aid the building once more. Arts Council England has recently proposed to reduce the theatre's funding by £180,000, and over 150 actors and directors have joined in on the fight to prevent that.

Other Harry Potter-related people have stepped up to petition also, including Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, and Miriam Margoyles.

It's the pound sign, British currency.

I don't live in England either, but I live in Britain and know :P England isn't the be-all-and-end-all of our lovely nation.

The cynic in me wonders why they don't donate the money together. Between them, I'm sure they can afford it.

Yeah, that is true. They all have a fair bit of money but they don't give it up.

:lol: It's a pet peeve, nothing personal. Parts of Ireland use the Euro but the rest of us use the pound.
