An Italian magazine - La Gazzetta de Maghi e delle Streghe claimed that the actors who played James and Lily Potter in previous Potter films - Adrian Rawlins and Geraldine Somerville - were to be replaced in the fourth Potter film, ' Goblet of Fire', by Romola Garai and Christien Anholt.
WB have confirmed this as having 'not a grain of truth' in it.

Well, good. I liked the Potters they had chosen.  Weren't the rumored ones just a little too young-looking? I know they're supposed to be a young couple, but... that looks nothing like what I imaged James looking like. Can't be handsomer than Sirius!  |

yeah the people they hsve look a bit to old any way because James and lilly were 21 when they were killed.. change isnt good lol. | |

I could go either way. I think the rumored people were a tad more attractive. I always thought that Lily and James looked a bit too old in the movie, weren't they supposed to be 21? C'mon! They look at least 35, but this is simply my humble newbie opinion!

GOOD! I liked the couple they have now, it's just I think if they show James and Lily again, they should try to make James' hair a little more unruly, yeah know... like Harry's. | |

I like those actors who played Potter`s, and suppose that there`re no better Lily than Geraldine Somerville. May be, James isn`t ideal, but he`s great, and I don`t complain.  | |

I like the James and Lily they had already chosen. And also, like most of you said, its not like they appear a lot in the books, so they don't have a big a part in the series, a very important role, but not a big one. | |
