Rushfirth Creative in Leeds, UK announced that Matthew Lewis supplied his voice talent to the upcoming production of
Captain Extraordinary's animated series.
Matt already did voice work for the animatic (rough moving storyboard with dialogue and music) trailer, Creative Director Howard Rushfirth told SnitchSeeker on Wednesday. The television programme is being pitched to major broadcasters and media distributors around the world, noted Rushfirth, in the hope that it will be picked up soon.
Matt lent his voice so far to only the trailer, and is not confirmed yet to take on the role of Captain Extraordinary for the series itself. Once the show is commissioned for network or Internet, said Rushfirth, arrangements will hopefully be made to bring the
Harry Potter actor on full-time to voice the comic-book hero.
The trailer is scheduled to be released sometime this summer. More on the comic and series can be read

Richard Dinnick, the acclaimed screen writer who has penned the pilot script for the TV show, has also drafted a fabulous script for a teaser trailer which will initially be produced in an animatic form in the next few weeks. “We (Rushfirth Creative) are producing the graphics and visuals, but the audio content is a different matter,” says Howard Rushfirth, Creative Director. “We’re so lucky to have such super-talented professionals contributing to that side of things.”
And for the Captain himself, the Rushfirth Creative team are hugely thrilled to have much loved actor, and fellow ‘Loiner’ Matthew Lewis perform the dialogue for the titular role.
“Matthew’s delivery of Neville’s stumbling, defiant monologue before Voldemort at the climax of Deathly Hallows was my absolute favourite scene in the entire Harry Potter series,” says Howard, “and possibly one of my favourite movie moments of all time – and I ‘like my movies’ to put it mildly, so that’s a big deal.”
