| | |  Maggie Smith to reprise McGonagall role in Deathly Hallows
In a discussion of her life's work and upcoming feature From Time to Time (co-starring Timothy Spall), actress Maggie Smith spoke about her tribulations going through breast cancer treatment last year whilst working on Half-Blood Prince. She also confirmed that she will reprise her role as Minerva McGonagall soon in Deathly Hallows. Quote:
She revealed that she made Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince — playing Professor Minerva McGonagall — during her cancer treatment. “I was hairless. I had no problem getting the wig on. I was like a boiled egg.”

I wonder how she will be able to duel and run around yelling things in DH, especially when everyone thinks Harry is dead. She seems a bit too old to do things like that now.
Anyways I can't wait to see her in the film.

Maggie smith is one of the best British actresses and her work is amazing glad she's fighting that horrible disease. Can't wait to see her as McGonagall again as it wouldn't be right not having her in harry potter
