J.K. Rowling confirms FIVE 'Fantastic Beasts' films planned for production!
During the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them global live chat, author J.K. Rowling not only made a surprise appearance at the London venue, but announced that she has planned out FIVE movies in the Fantastic Beasts franchise - well beyond the trilogy already confirmed.
.@jk_rowling has just confirmed the magic continues in a total of FIVE MOVIES! We can't wait! #FantasticBeasts
Director David Yates and producer David Heyman also commented on the sequels, saying that the second will take place in another major city, and that both Grindelwald and Dumbledore will have more significant roles in the series.
