Helena Bonham-Carter talks Half-Blood Prince & Deathly Hallows

In a recent press conference for her upcoming movie Sweeney Todd, Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) answered a lot of questions on her upcoming baby and also her return for her role in the Harry Potter films. Now, the full interview is up, and you can read it all here.

QUESTION: THEY ARE SHOOTING ‘HARRY POTTER’ NOW. WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH BELLATRIX?
CARTER: Well, hopefully in February I will have lost weight. She appears then and I’ve got some nice scenes with Alan Rickman.
QUESTION: IT’S BOOK SEVEN, SO IT’S A BIG ONE FOR HER, I GUESS?
CARTER: Is seven the last one?
QUESTION: YEAH.
CARTER: Yeah, I’ve got more stuff to do in that one.
QUESTION: HAVE YOU READ IT?
CARTER: Yeah, of course I did. I was thinking ‘How big of a part do I have here?’ [Laughs]

I can hardly remember her role in HBP to be honest. Except for the first scene (which I'm expecting to be brilliant) she wasn't really in it much, was she. I hope they manage to expand her role somehow because I think she's a wonderful actress and I think they really need to expand the roles of the adult characters in the movies because they have a really brilliant cast.

Bwaha, "Is seven the last one?" Too funny. You forget sometimes that the Harry Potter actors aren't necessarily as big fans of the books as we are! Still, she does an amazing job and I can't wait to see her more!
