Post Harry Potter: the Exhibition Tokyo tickets bought from Sept 17-28 eligible for prizes

In celebration of having attracted over 300,000 visitors in its Tokyo venue alone, Harry Potter: The Exhibition has announced that for those who purchased tickets to see the exhibit anytime between September 17-29 in advance will be eligible to win Harry Potter memorabilia signed by actors James and Oliver Phelps. More on that can be read in the press release issued by Warner Bros, including how to participate.

Harry Potter™: The Exhibition Has Already Wowed Over 300,000 Visitors in Japan!

Enter for a Chance to Win Memorabilia Signed by James and Oliver Phelps

This summer the Mori Arts Center in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo has been host to Harry Potter: The Exhibition which, due to popular demand, has extended its run until 29 September. The Tokyo run of the blockbuster exhibition has been experienced by an incredible number of fans and, this week, the exhibition exceeded 300,000 visitors in Tokyo.

In celebration, Harry Potter: The Exhibition visitors who purchase advance tickets for 17-29 September will be automatically entered for a chance to win one of five replica Quaffle™ balls, or one of ten souvenir posters, each signed by James and Oliver Phelps who played Fred and George Weasley, the prankster twins, in the Harry Potter film series.

To be automatically entered for a chance to win, visitors must purchase Advanced Tickets at Lawson Ticket (either in-store or online) for any Harry Potter: The Exhibition date between 17 and 29 September. One (1) winner will be drawn daily and announced at the venue.

The 16,000 square-foot exhibition (1,500 square-meter), created by Global Experience Specialists (GES) in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, has been a huge hit all over the world. Since its debut four years ago, it has been experienced by more than two-million visitors around the globe. The exhibition made its world premiere in Chicago in April 2009, and has made stops in Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney and Singapore. The exhibition returned to New York City for an encore presentation before heading to Tokyo.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition includes elaborate settings inspired by the film sets and locations that are filled with favorite film props, costumes and creatures including Harry Potter’s glasses, wand and Nimbus 2000™. Guests can also step inside interactive displays such as a re-creation of Hagrid’s hut and sit in his giant-sized armchair, enter the Quidditch™ area and toss a Quaffle, and even pull a Mandrake in the Herbology classroom vignette.

A special audio guide is also available, providing insight into the creation of the films by the filmmakers themselves—including film producers, prop and costume designers, and creature and makeup effects designers. Those who use the audio guide also receive a commemorative lanyard custom to the Tokyo run of Harry Potter: The Exhibition.

The exhibition leaves Japan soon, so fans are encouraged to book advanced tickets now through Lawson Tickets to guarantee admission. Advanced tickets can be purchased online at Lawson Ticket (l-tike.com), Lawson Ticket stores throughout Japan, the Lawson Ticket office at 0570-000-777, or through www.harrypotterexhibition.jp. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office at Mori Arts Center.
