Half-Blood Prince UK rating & running time revealed
 

The British Board of Film Classification has given Half-Blood Prince a rating of 12A for 'moderate threat'. This means those below the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult when seeing the film.

They also list the final running time as 153 minutes and 19 seconds.

OMG. over 2 hrs. brilliant! and 12A - right, my 8 and 10 year old girls grew up with this so they will be seeing it!

Over 2 hours but it will go by so fast.

A 12a...well if I go to the night showing it will be full of kids so I think I will go at dinner time.

I started reading the series when I was 12 and Im 23 in 18days. By the time the film series is over I will be 25...

Anyway over two hours seems good to me.

Cool, it's longer than PS, PoA and OotP! Yay! It's only shorter than GoF by a minutes, so whatever.

Something I don't understand about the length in time for CoS and OotP though, is CoS is the longest film, but one of the shortest books. OotP is the shortest film, but the longest book... Make sense? Just thought I'd ask.

I'm excited it's so long, though. It'll go by very quickly when we watch it, however.

CoS was 2 and 3/4 hours.

It's the same film either side of the ocean.

But that rating is rubbish! It should be older...the films are getting DARKER! What's DH gonna be? PG10?

YESSS! Even though I don't live in the UK, it's over two hours and THANKFULLY longer than the dismal OOTP.
