Half-Blood Prince in Best Children's reads of all time list Harry Potter has featured on a list of the best children's reads of all time, with Half-Blood Prince coming in at #6. The sixth novel was the only one of the series to make it onto the list. A total of 4,000 people participated in the poll conducted by the charity Booktrust, who run the government-backed Bookstart initiative that gives free packs of books to children. Quote:

Some of my favorite books of all time are on there! Roald Dahl's books are so great :yes: The Secret Garden! *huggles my tattered copy* I wonder why HBP was the only one to end up on that list. It's not even the best one, in my opinion. Maybe because it's the one where Dumbledore dies. Pretty pivotal stuff. |
