Rumours have been flying around the past day about actress Emma Watson finally opening an official Twitter account, with confirmation received from one of the developers of her official site, Rob Noble.

SnitchSeeker waited for official confirmation, which has just been released now. Warner Bros' Harry Potter official Twitter has announced the following:

Hopefully this will get rid of all the fake Emma twitter accounts (if there are any :blink:). Glad to see someone from the trio using a social networking site to communicate with fans, even though they might not use it much!

Well, I was quite surprised to read that on twitter just right now and didn't believe it but I suppose SS would never steer us wrong. :) Funny enough, I'm watching Sorcerer's Stone and was thinking of Emma's performance as Hermione and there she pops up on twitter! :xd:

I've been rather sceptical about the Twitter all day and wouldn't report on it until someone reputable confirmed it. I'd say Warner Bros. is pretty damn reliable with news about the stars, as they know the actors, their reps and families.

Bonnie use to have a twitter but she must of deleted it for some personal reason maybe.

I followed her a few hours ago! I believe when I clicked to follow her, she had about... 5,348 followers? Don't ask me how I remember. :lol: Anyways, I just checked now and she has 15,953 followers. News travels fast.

Even though she has one, I'm not sure how often she'll tweet. She might pull a J.K. Rowling and only give us about 5 tweets per year, but I'm fine with that. They have busy lives, but busy in a good sense... at least to me. I'd love to have their jobs.
