Emma Watson tours Yale (UPDATED)

The Yale Daily News is reporting that Emma Watson took a private tour of the Yale campus yesterday.

One student said he spotted Watson eating in the Berkeley dining hall balcony with her “mum” and a Yale student. “People went nuts on campus, trying to touch her,” he said. In a brief conversation with Watson, perhaps better known as the character Hermione, the student said he learned the actress, who received straight A grades on her A-level exams, toured Harvard on Tuesday and Brown on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Yale Daily News has a more detailed report on her trip, explaining that the actress took a tour of the school and dined with a select group of students.

Dean of Admissions Jeff Brenzel said the admissions office tries to accommodate “reasonable” requests for private tours if the person in question is highly recognizable.

“[Watson] wanted to come to see Yale, not to be treated as a celebrity,” Brenzel said.

Wow...she's not looking at those slum colleges, is she? I suppose Brown, Cornell and Penn are next? Perhaps even Stanford and UCLA.

WOW! Harvard, Brown, Yale.........those are some good schools. I guess party schools are out, so what's left? Umm, Stanford, if she's religious she could go to Notre Dame! That would be awesome.....*going to watch Rudy now*.

She's going for the Ivys. Good for her. Next she should check out Stanford and Penn (especially Penn, since I live like right there lol)

How cool would it be to see Emma Watson eating at the cafeteria you eat at every day? That'd be so cool! bad for her though, if she's going to college she'll just want to fit in. Smart girl for shooting at the Ivys.

That's really great that she is looking a a wide variety of colleges to attend.

Aww, poor Emma all the people going crazy.
I would be pretty exited too, if Emma Watson visited my school, though (that would be sooooooooo awesome).
But once you really go to a school, and that happens everyday, then I can imagine you get really...annoyed.

I think she'd do well at Wellesley if she's interested in going there; it's right next to Harvard! My cousin goes there. I wouldn't mind seeing her in Stanford; it's just as good as Harvard, but warmer!

Thats so good that she really values her education, I like that. And she sets high standards for herself. I just hope that I she does decide to go to a university here people treat her like she's normal, otherwise that would be awkward for her, ya know?:D

yale is a good school as well, but i think maybe harvard wouldbe better for her
