Disney via EW released the first official look at Emma Watson in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. In the feature, the Harry Potter actress plays heroine Belle against the Beast, portrayed by Downton Abbey actor Dan Stevens.

The photo below shows the two in their famous ballroom scene, based off the Oscar-winning animated feature. Like the 1990s version before it, this live-action movie will include many of the original songs from Alan Menken, and a couple of brand new pieces, sung by Watson and all her costars.

UPDATE: EW released nine new images from Beauty and the Beast - six of which feature Emma as Belle - and can be seen here.











Beauty and the Beast, also costarring Emma Thompson, Sir Ian McKellen, Kevin Kline, Ewan McGregor, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, and more, will hit theaters this coming March.
