Daniel Radcliffe, who has been adamant in the past about not attending the opening of
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays' in London at the end of July,
shared his thoughts about the new actor taking on the iconic role, Jamie Parker.
Quote:
The play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” opens in July in London. Will you see it?
Daniel Radcliffe: I don’t know if I would. Because I feel like me going to see that show, it might become more about the fact that I was there seeing that show that night than anything else.
Sneak in. Are you following the play’s progress?
Dan: Do you really think that’s possible (for me to sneak in) (laughs)? No, I haven’t been keeping tabs. But I know Jamie Parker is playing me (Harry), which I’m very happy about, because he’s a great actor.
Dan would not be able to attend the opening of the
Cursed Child plays on July 30th at any rate, as he will be in the midst of production of his off-Broadway run of
Privacy, through August 14, 2016.
Dan has
Now You See Me 2 and
Swiss Army Man releasing in theaters this June.
