Dan Radcliffe receives Tony's di Napoli Wall of Fame honor

In addition to receiving a caricature at New York City's famous Sardi's restaurant, Daniel Radcliffe was honoured with a portrait on Tony's di Napoli Wall of Fame in Time Square earlier today for his work in the Broadway production of Equus. Photos of Dan, his portrait, and all of his Equus co-stars commemorating the accolades, can be seen here in our galleries.

Equus completes its run this Sunday, February 8th; Dan leaves for the UK the next day, and begins work on Deathly Hallows a week after, on February 15th.

She plays his mother in Equus.

isn't she the actress who plays his mum? an interesting painting, not sure if it works!

He looks incredibly pale in some of those pics.

Patronus Charm 02-07-2009 02:19 PM

He looks handsome.....hmmmm....very nice indeed

I'm very happy for Dan's success on Broadway, it's great he is being part of all these traditions.
He must be sad to left NY next week, but on the other hand he must be happy to return to England after all these months. It's difficult when opposite feelings collide.

I just noticed the 7th pic, it's nice to see all his castmates were there with him! And the play director and choreographer too, I wonder if they are in NY because tomorrow is the last performance, that's very nice of them. :)

wow I feel super ignorant, no clue what di Napoli stuff is about, but congrats
to Dan and the cast for recieving the honour :D

its a way better painting than the one at Sardi's though his head looks
way to big for that body

And the paleness is because of the camera flashes...

Potter for Minister 02-07-2009 02:44 PM

Uhhhhh...just a tad weird for me, but Dan looks good.

Oh Dan, you need to get some sun. lol. I don't know if I like the picture. Its nice, but the likness of Dan is off somehow.

jmh 02-07-2009 06:53 PM

Daniel is a cute lad but he looks tired in these pictures. Maybe the New York night life is caughting up to him.

purebloodprincess87 02-07-2009 09:38 PM

Totally agree. The picture is a bit weird, but that's what di Napoli paintings are supposed to be: a bit dreamlike and surreal. Yes, Dan looks a bit tired, but after almost 4 1/2 months at 8 shows a week, or over 150 shows, that's an awful lot of shows. I'm glad I was able to see Equus. Good luck in the next HP movie and good bye from America! We love you.... but stop smoking!!

Padie 02-08-2009 12:53 PM

He looks quite tired :/ That's what he gets for working so hard, though, I guess  *pokes him*

And the painting looks superb! :D

GinnyW21 02-08-2009 07:22 PM
