The Humane Society of New York is currently auctioning off tickets to the Broadway production of
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, as part of their
Bidding for Good campaign. Almost all proceeds will go to the charity organization, which helps raise money for animals in need and helps Humane Society of New York care for animals when illness, injury or homelessness strikes.
Bids can be placed at
Humane Society of NY/Bidding for Good now through Sunday, October 29, 2017. To no surprise, the now-sold-out
Cursed Child Broadway tickets are
up for bid well past $1,000.
All proceeds support HSNY's work to alleviate the suffering of animals through medical care in the HSNY Hospital, shelter in the Society's Adoption Center, outreach and education. 95.10% of all monies raised go directly into program activities.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will open this March at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway, with many of the award-winning London cast reprising their roles, including Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni, Paul Thornley, and Anthony Boyle.
