Viktor Krum was cast a while ago - his identity among others were kept secret due to end of year exams. But although we know his name, we know nothing more about him - even the Bulgarian film producer who helped seek out an actor for the part does not know who he is!

Novinite are reporting that Bozhinov, the Bulgarian film producer who helped with the Sofia casting for Krum, still does not know who Stanislav Ianevski (the boy who got the part) is. Some have tried to venture a guess that the secrecy behind his identity might be part of a publicity stunt, designed by Mike Newell, the director. But, for now, Bozhinov is in the same position as many fans worldwide who also do not know what this actor looks like.

Still, don't you think the Bulgarian guy submitted files of some sort of the prospective actors to the director? That way he should at least have some kind of info on Stanislav I.

In the end I think Newell chose someone studying in London. This guy from Bulgaria only did the Bulgarian casting but apparently Newell picked a Bulgarian kid who was studying in the UK at the time and so this producer never actually got to see him.

Ahh... good to see they have it all together. :rolleyes: I'm looking forward to the seeing the first picture of the Champions in costume, it'll be interesting to see what they all look like.

Well I hope that the guy chosen looks like Krum, I just want a picture of him. I'm sure that this producer will find out who he is before us.

Where are the lovely british tabloids when we need them? They discovered who Cho was, I can't believe they didn't found out who Krum is.

I'm shocked too - but then that's probably down to the fact that most filming thus far has been inside Leavesden and you need passes to get into the studios.

It's probably a good thing right now for them to keep him secret. I can't see much other reasoning for them to hide him. Secrets are SO hard to keep anymore...
