Alan Rickman on Weekend Today and Chicago Paper
 

Actor Alan Rickman, who plays the role of Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films is due to appear tomorrow on NBC's program - Weekend Today. He will be appearing with actress Sigourney Weaver to promote their new film Snow Cake. Weekend Today airs on NBC, check your local listings for more.

On a related note, Rickman appeared last night at a screening show of Snow Cake at the Roger Ebert film festival in Chicago. The News-Gazette interviewed him about the new film called "Perfume" and also his role as Professor Snape.

I saw Snow Cake last night and I really liked it!!! Alan and Sigourney, as well as Carrie ann Moss were wonderful in their roles!!!!! It's a sad and rather dark movie in some ways, but it carries a beautiful lesson!!!! I hope I am able to catch Alan on the show tomorrow!!!!!

I agree with him. I wish I knew what was on Snape's mind sometimes...

He once was on my street, but I found out about the next day - his picture on the front page of the local newspaper gave it away!

He's such a great actor. He's a perfect Snape, and I'm glad that he got chosen for that part! I just love the quote...it makes sense. ^^

Sounds really cool. Its too bad that I wouldn't be able to catch him on the Weekend Today show,and even if I was here I would probably still forget about it and miss it. But the movie sounds like something cool to check out and get further info on.
