Harry woke up to a soft bit of light crossing the bedroom. Rolling over he wrapped his arms around Ginny and kissed her temple gently.

“Would you like a cup of coffee love? I’m going to make you breakfast in bed.”
Ginny looked up at him sleepily. “Mmm yes please.” she smiled and snuggled down under the covers as Harry left the warm bed and headed toward the kitchen.

Ginny stretched and yawned smelling the coffee and bacon. Getting out of bed she wrapped herself in Harry’s large bathrobe and shuffled to the kitchen. Standing in the doorway she watched as her husband cooked like a muggle. He was frying the bacon by hand while whipping eggs with a whisk. Walking up behind him she wrapped her arms around him from behind.

“You know you shouldn’t fry things bare-chested, you may scar that amazing physique.” Ginny whispered giggling.

“Fine, then give me my bathrobe.” Harry said turning on her with a silly gleam in his eyes. Ginny began to run off to the bedroom. “No! I’ve claimed it in the name of Ginnervaland!”

Harry turned off the heat on the stove and chased after her. Catching her in the hallway Harry threw his wife over his shoulder and took her to the bedroom.
They’d be eating breakfast cold again.

“Oh Molly! It all looks so lovely! I’m sure Harry and Ginny will love this party!” Hermione was sitting at the table gently rubbing her ever growing belly. She had been so tired lately that Ron was helping her teach. She would explain the lesson and Ron would demonstrate. Hermione felt slightly humiliated by that.

“Thank you dear, would you like some tea? You look awfully tired.” Molly hovered over her daughter-in-law. Putting her hand to Hermione’s forehead.

“Oh she’s fine mum, that little girl is just sapping all of her energy. Probably overactive just like her dad” Ron said proudly.

Hearing some loud pops Ron abandoned his wife and mother to run for the door. Opening the door he saw Harry kissing his sister, “Oye Harry! Ger’off me sister! Oh I mean your wife!” Harry looked up and gave Ron a big hug.

Hermione waddled to the door and was watching the scene her husband and brother-in-law were creating. Venturing further into the garden she hugged Ginny.

“How was Ireland? Did you miss the family? Aren’t you happy to be Mrs. Potter?!” Hermione shot out question after question not even giving Ginny a chance to answer.

Ginny looked at Hermione closely, “Are you ok Mione? You don’t look so well.” Hermione just waved Ginny’s question off and headed to give Harry a hug. Nudging Ron out of the way Hermione reached out to welcome Harry home and fainted.

“Mione!” Ron shouted as he caught her before she fell.
Ginny rushed to their side “MUUUUUM! Come here! Hermione passed out!” She shouted towards the open door to the burrow.

Running outside wiping her hands on a towel Molly looked at her daughter-in-law. “Ron, Harry! Both of you lift her and apparate to St. Mungos. Something is wrong with the baby. Go now! We’ll meet you there!”

Ron lifted his very pregnant wife into his arms. “No Harry, I’m taking her alone. Stay with the women until they can come” With a loud pop Ron and an unconscious Hermione disappeared.

I'll write more soon if all of you promise to be good! haha! I'm glad you're so worried about Hermione, that is what I was going for. seriously though, I will try to post more tonight, but no promises. Life is getting in the way of all my writing lately. thanks for reading and keep posting! It makes me feel special! lol

“Stay with the women?! That git is bloody mad!” Ginny apparated with a look of anger and concern on her face.

Molly looked at Harry, “you go too dear, I need to tell Arthur and the rest of the family. We’ll be at the hospital as fast as we can. Harry nodded and quickly disappeared.

Ron was pacing the waiting room of St. Mungos when Ginny appeared with a loud Pop. Walking over to her brother she lightly punched him in the arm. “As soon as Mione is alright I’m going to jinx you for making us stay behind, even if it was only for a second.”

“Not now Ginny.” Ron spat out angrily. While they weren’t paying attention Harry had arrived and came up quietly. “Oi, Ron! I know you’re worried but don’t take it out on Gin, she’s just as worried as you are…we both are.” Harry put a hand on Ron’s shoulder.

Ron just shrugged off Harry’s kind gesture and stepped away. “No! You’re not! That is my wife Harry! Don’t you get it? She’s my bloody wife! She’s carrying MY BABY! You have no bloody idea how worried I am!” Ron shouted

Harry looked at Ginny feeling very hurt, but he understood where Ron was coming from. He led Ginny to a nearby sofa and took a seat so that Ron could pace until they had word on Hermione.

About twenty minutes after Ron’s outburst the entire waiting room was filled with redheads. Every member of the family had come to get news of Hermione’s condition.
“Mr. Weasley?” A nurse called into the room. Seeing all the men but Harry jump up she sighed. “I mean Mr. Ronald Weasley.”

“That’s me” Ron walked over to her as calmly as he could. He wanted to grab her and shake her in hope that she would give him the information he desired.
“Sir, your wife is muggle born, is that correct?” Ron nodded
“Well she seems to have some sort of disease that we don’t normally see in the Wizarding world. She needs a blood transfusion from someone with the proper antibodies, or she will die.” Ron turned a pasty shade of white and looked at Harry. Seeing that Ron needed a little support Harry walked up to the nurse. “What about the baby? Is she alright?” Harry asked.
“She seems to be stable, but if Mrs. Weasley doesn’t get a transfusion soon, she will pass before her mother does.” the nurse looked at the men with empathy written all over her face. “We have brought in the top Muggle specialist we could find and he will be conducting blood tests on the entire family. Because Mrs. Weasley is pregnant, we prefer the blood to be a genetic match to the child, but sometimes we have to resort to desperate measures.” turning to Harry she stated bluntly, “You’ve saved the wizarding world once, perhaps your blood will save this woman and child as well. Please get yourself tested Mr. Potter.” Harry nodded

After several needles sticking several Weasley arms all who was left to be tested was Harry. “Now Mr. Potter, it is highly unlikely you will have the antibody seeing as none of the Weasley’s do, but we do appreciate you being tested.” The doctor stated as he stuck Harry’s arm with the needle. After looking at the drop of blood under a microscope the doctor shook his head. “I’m sorry, you’re not a match.”
Harry looked around the room of people that had become his family. He couldn’t stand the thought of putting them through this sort of pain. Closing his eyes he concentrated on what he wanted, no needed, to have happen.

“Test me again.”
“Mr. Potter, it’s useless. We will try to find another treatment.” Harry shook his head.
“No, you won’t, now test me again.” Harry nearly growled at the doctor. Every moment the doctor argued was a moment they were losing on helping Hermione and her baby.
“Very well then.” The doctor took another sample of Harry’s blood and looked at it under the microscope.
“this is impossible!” the doctor exclaimed
“No sir, it’s magic” Harry smiled. He had found a way to control his recently acquired power.

Krissy, I'm new to the site. (as of tonight LOL!) I read your first fan fic and it was great. I had to come over here and read this right away. I really enjoy your writing. You have an interesting voice when it comes to the romance aspect of the stories. It's not all hearts and flowers like so many women write, there is humor and sarcasm. I am impressed!
